Your yellows then go out of their way to pick up maybe one or two decent shows, the rest don't look good.
Whatever, having different tastes is ok, calling the whole season boring is not especially when Natsume's last season was the best overall and we're getting more Uchouten.

That's because there are no good shows to pick. I only put AOT and Hero academia as green, because i watched the first season.

Im only judging these shows, based on the premise, given on the chart. If it doesn't sound interesting, im not going to touch it.

But this season is boring. There used to be seasons where i could pick up about 5 shows and be amazed by them. Now it is all about picking the least bad shows.

Sorted out what I'm watching and trying, but when it comes to all of those battle harems and school anime I think it's best to just pickup whatever looks good on /a/, I really cannot be arsed watching 20+ different anime despite how shit they are anymore.

2015 was so bad for me that I almost stopped consuming anime altogether. I finally got out of it this Winter season and am slowly catching up. 2015 and 2016 weren't bad at all.

Pretty uninteresting season if you only pay attention to original anime.

Well im more picky than you. I drop more than half of the shows i pick up, By 5 i meant 5 shows that were consistently good, from start to finish. Also, looking at the cast and the source material doesnt help. The cast doesnt make a show good (and i dont care for casts anyway) and the quality of the source will not determine the quality of the show.

Nigga, don't operate on absolutes. It really does help, but it isn't guaranteed. Same with the source material. Sometimes a subpar adaptation is saved by the source material whereas sometimes it's just trash from the beginning like recent Berserk.

Why does /a/ constantly whine about isekai and battle harems when, for one, there is usually only at most 2 isekai series running in one season while there can be about 4~7 battle harems, and for two, they may not be the best shit ever made, but they are leagues better than fucking battle shounens and shameless fujoshit.
