What I notice A LOT in YoI is that Hiramatsu's sketches often come out fucked up during digitalization, it's pretty obvious if you see his genga and sketches of official artwork that have been published in magazines and compare them with the final art (like the BD1 cover). The lines are skewed or missing strokes so the whole thing looks off. This never happened before during Eva, Parasyte, and other works. MAPPA scanner fucking broke and nobody cared.
