Yeah just based on the trailer alone, and Netflix, transparent, progressive spin on entertainment. It's just going to be a one-dimensional soap box. "Mia" will just be a bitchy popular cheerleader girl and school bicycle who was a victim of rape randomly because reasons.

L will not be a brilliant, world renowned detective with the legal support of the local police and government but rather a "Too cool for the rules and the cops and the white man" super vigilante who gets everyone to support him because 'he good boy and black and stuff'. he'll probably even be a hacker or some dumb bullshit.
