Rank good entry level anime series from this pic.

Death Note is probably the best of those four, especially now that Netflix is adapting it

I've never watched Evangilon or Geass and probably never will
>>
>>154931767
you're making a big mistake. All other three titles in this picture are better than death note

>netflix adapting something makes it good

Probably Bebop. It's good in pretty much every aspect, and has an excellent dub.
>>
Nge >> bebop > DN >>> literal shit > Geass
>>
Eva>Bebop>Death Note>Geass
>>
>>154931914
People who hate Code Geass are the faggiest fags in the world.
>>
>>154931696
Eva > Bebop > DN > Geass

>>154931767
>hasn't seen the most iconic, memorable and culturally important anime series of all time
>hasn't seen the classic that fucking defined /a/ in its early years
>thinks that a Netflix adaptation somehow makes a show better originally
Holy shit how and why are you even here?
>>
>>154932244
>double dubs
check'ed

It's like those people hate entertainment
>>
>>154932396
>hasn't seen the most iconic, memorable and culturally important anime series of all time
Evafags are so up their ass.
>>
>>154932396
Evangelion is so slow and boring though.
>>
>>154932458
It's actually, literally all of those things tho. It's extremely iconic of anime overall, moreso than any other show in the OP. It's memorable enough that its fanbase has held extremely strong for over 20 years. Its massive commercial success caused extreme changes in the way TV anime are produced and marketed which last to this day, forever changing the culture of anime.

Anon, I'm talking purely about entry levelness, not quality

Think of it from a normie perspective, Death Note is set in a world most like ours, and the Netflix adaption might interest people in the source material who normally wouldn't watch it
>>
>>154931696
Eva 7/10
DN 8/10
CB 7/10
CG 6/10
>>
>>154931696
Evangelion > Cowboy Bebop > Death Note > Code Geass
>>
>>154931696
FMA > all of these
>>
Geass>eva>bebop>death note
>>
only seen death note and Geass and those were amazing. never watching Eva and probably watching Bebop soon
>>
>>154932678
>>154932396
>>154931945
>>154931914
Seems we have a consensus
>>
>>154931696
Evangelion > Death Note > Cowboy Bebop > Code Geass
>>
Cowboy bebop beats all, you can barely call it an anime
>>
>>154931696
Evangelion > Bebop > Geass > Death Note
They're all good though
>>
>>154932639
sorry, my mistake, i misunderstood your post senpai. you really should watch Eva and CG though
>>
>>154932658
being a dnfag is one thing, but honestly thinking it's better than the other 3 is a fucking delusion
>>
>>154932705
finally i found my bro
>>
What does entry level mean? Entry level imo is like dragon ball and shit like that.
>>
>Geass
>Good
>>
>>154932617
It's only most iconic etc. because it gained popularity among a wide variety of people (who have little knowledge of the history of the industry and the succession of inner and outer influences that defined it) because of reasons that are mostly unrelated to its actual quality that can be best summed up as the economical and cultural climate at the time.
That is not to say that it doesn't have it's artistic merits but from historical perspective it's hardly the "most" culturally important is we define cultural significance as the possession of noteworthy content. If we define it as being influential, again, there are other series that far surpass Eva in terms of influence.
>it caused extreme changes in the way TV anime are produced and marketed which last to this day, forever changing the culture of anime.
That can be said of any of the series that defined the industry before Eva.
>>
>>154933234
t.fan of shows with moe girls
>>
>>154933336
your point being
>>
>>154931696
FMA and Steins Gate should be added to this pic.
>>
>>154933305
But Eva's changes were the biggest and have lasted by far the longest. The TV anime industry has ony been around for about 50 years, and the changes Eva made have lasted over 20 of those. And most of all the anime that has ever been created was in those 20 years.

ITT: Retards shit on Code Geass and Evangelion for no reason.
>>
>>154933861
EVA goes to shit before the first 10 episodes are done and takes most of the season to be good again
Gayass doesnt ruin everything until R2
>>
>>154931696
If those are your point of entry, then my commiserations on missing the thirty or so years prior to Bebop and NGE for a start. I would then suggest an extensive 'catch-up program' to relieve you of this deficiency forthwith However those four are fair opening gambit in any case.

This, best entry level manga and anime.
Brotherhood's first episodes might be too rushed for a first experience though, 03 was my first anime (not counting stuff like DBZ and Sailor Moon) and I loved it.
>>
>>154931696
Eva > Bebop > Death Note > Geass

Though in terms of "ease of entry" for normalfags:

Death Note > Bebop > Geass > Eva
>>
>>154933919
>EVA goes to shit before the first 10 episodes are done
What drugs are you on? Or rather, what drugs are you not on; considering you probably have ADHD.

Only Death Note and Code Geass are good in that order. Replace the other two with FMA:Brotherhood and Naruto or if you're a cancerous contrarian, you could replace Naruto with Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
>>
>>154931696
Eva is as entry level edgy teenager as you can get so that goes first
>>

You realize thread is about which anime is best to serve as an entry to the medium, right? Whether you believe NGE is the best one overall(I'm inclined to agree with that) it would be horrible for that purpose. It shouldn't even be on that list probably.
>>
>>154934607
No I think you misunderstood. Whether you think something is suitable for being an entry anime or not, the four series I presented just are. They are the most popular and are chosen as the first shows to watch. Simple as that. I described them as 'good' entry level anime because they're actually liked and acclaimed by both newcomers and veterans unlike other popular first anime like Naruto or SAO.
>>
>>154933827
The comersialization of the industry and otaku culture happened before Eva and Eva is in fact a product, not a cause of those. At most you could say that it unwittingly became a flagship of everythi g that is wrong with anime today though that is hardly something to be proud of.
>>
>>154935478
It's liiterally the opposite. Eva started the movement of TV anime being made for the sake of being TV anime, instead of just for selling toys or manga volumes. It largely moved anime away from commercialism. Original TV productions only became common after Eva's success because investors now saw that original TV productions could be profitable on their own. It's thanks to Eva that shows like Bebop were allowed to be made.
>>
>>154935607
As I said that was just the cultural climate at the time. Because otaku already existed there was a demographic for Eva and for many shows like it that came slightly before or after. Eva was just the one that hit upon the just right formula for the time and made it big but it didn't create anything. Of course its success cued in producers that there was market for such series but this market was created by the series of the previous generation.
