Spoilers are out.
If this does happen, then I'm 100% positive this will too.
it's to show that anyone is mortal in the post All Might/Symbol of peace era.
both characters were introduced recently, both haven't received much development. It's logical to assume that they will job for the sake of the plot. Yakuza guy has to appear as threatening after all.
>Froppy on the color page
>Working with Ochako
>Also more popular
>Got a side story about her family and the chapter with her old friend will be animated
They are clearly going to kill Ochako and she will become the main heroine.
Her turn is coming. Just wait for when Bakugou and Todoroki will get their licenses.
>Fsce it frog a shit.
(You) should learn to spell before trying to bait.
No, they won't save the day.
I'm guessing they also get pretty banged up, but the experienced heroes sacrifice themselves in order for them to retreat and maybe wait for back-up.
I agree, and Overhaul's power is perfect for a scene where one person is about to get touched by him, but another quickly dives in front of them to take the hit. We'll probably see a dramatic sequence like that at some point.
I'm going to make tadpoles with this frog and there's nothing any of you can do about it
How can he be engaged to her when I already consummated our marriage during the honeymoon?
Isn't the villain in the background the same one from chapter 1
The one where mt. lady kicked into submission
Chapter Title is "Anti-Destiny"
Deku remembers All Might's words from the sports festival: I want you to tell the world "I AM HERE!"
Deku: I AM HERE! You will stay alive, All Might!
All Might: Midoriya, you were a cowardly person, you were quirkless, but your actions from that day still respond to me. Let me see them again. And i will keep the promise i made to your mother, i will live!
All Might transforms
All Might: With these hands i will twist fate! (Right, All For One...)
All Might changes back
All Might: But it's how it is now. The nightmares Nighteye warned me about came true. I can't face him right now so i have to get stronger, that's why i keep running.
Deku: Nighteye's prediction is still there, but... No matter what happens, i will change fate with you, together.
Hadou is fighting villains with her [Twist Quirk]
Ochaco and Tsuyu are helping her
Hadou: Good for you. I am glad, yeah i am glad.
Ochaco: We only moved according to your orders.
Tsuyu: I am unexpectedly calm now.
Hero Billboard Chart No. 9: Dragon Hero "Ryukyu"
Ryukyu: Good job everyone. You two did a good job. I wonder if you two are ready for [that case].
Ochaco: [That case]...?
Ryukyu: A new villain organization called "The 8 Precepts". They lead to the League of Villains, it's a big job.
>Ryukyu: A new villain organization called "The 8 Precepts". They lead to the League of Villains, it's a big job.
>All Might: Midoriya, you were a cowardly person, you were quirkless, but your actions from that day still respond to me. Let me see them again. And i will keep the promise i made to your mother, i will live!
Hope this means mad man deku is gonna come back
How devastated would everyone be if Froppy was the traitor
>Ochako is involved in the Overhaul case
>giant villains appear
>lady nowhere to be seen
she ain't coming back is she
>No one saved Shiggy when he needed a hero
>Shiggy saves Eri when she needs a hero
Oh ok so it's directed at me.
So here's what I'm noting for now - Uraraka(Along with Tsuyu) is working with one of the Big Three. What this MEANS is that she was NOTICED by one of the Big Three - despite previous panels
she was going to go with Gunhead. Gonna have to wait for translations to be more specific - and then wait for official translations later on.
Guessing it's something similar to picture related.
>"i-it's rrelevant because characters I didn't like were high!!!"
>Irrelevant because Grapes had a fucking awful rank
How long do you plan on rejecting reality?
So much Froppy. Truly our god is a gracious god.
Never, because I quickly realised the superior girl.
I always know honestly. She what got me to start reading the manga.
Why is allmight the greatest?
Dude's a fucking legend.
S E M E N D E M O N
Bless hori, bless this glorious man.
>tfw I might be a scaley
I want to fuck the dragoness.
>everything about All Might
It should be impossible to make a guy this amazing.
>liking flat asses
Guys, I'm not sure if I can take it when All Might really dies
Why did Hori hide the identity of the hero Kirishima and chicken are interning under? Did he just not come up with a design, or is he trying to make a dramatic reveal? But for a reveal this hero has to be someone significant and already known to us.
Damn, best girl.
How are others even trying to compete?
One mystery solved, gang. Nighteye can look far into the future, but begins to have "margin of errors" - yet will see SOMETHING that becomes true.
In other words prepare for a Prophecy Twist. What Nighteye says is going to happen, will, in some sense happen - but crucial details will be reversed.
There is a traitor as it was confirmed in the manga, but I hope that the traitor will be one form class A2.
The moment one of the main characters goes full traitor is the moment most manga becomes shit.
>the group was foreshadowed since Chapter 46
He essentially had the same mindset as the gas villain, this actually isn't too farfetched.
Also him actually having a villanous mindset deep down would explain why he didn't score rescue points or something since it's pretty obvious that's how people with worse quirks got in.
No, I don't think he does it out of villainy. His inner monologue during fight with Deku proves he's pure at heart, despite being treated like a villain by default. My guess is he was targeted by the league after the festival and someone close to him was held hostage. His power was demonstrated to the whole world, and being able to control people sounds like something AfO would give and an arm and a leg to have at his disposal.
>Mfw the mangaka knows just the right amount of thicc for the girls
Also, I feel All Might dying now since Nighteye has seen it would be far too predictable. It'd probably happen in Deku's 3rd year or when he graduates imo
Tailguy didn't seem to think highly on his morals and now that I think of it, "why didn't he try to get rescue points in the entrance exam" is a valid complaint - even if he didn't know there are rescue points shouldn't it be his natural instinct to help others, if he wants to be a hero?
And how exactly would he help? Deku pretty much lucked out with Uraraka being caved in, but he at least had power to demostrate his saving spirit. What would Shinsou be able to do by controlling other people? Also all the students thought the scenario was about disabling robots, and Shinsou applied to general department from the start, meaning he accepted defeat before he even started the exam and probably never tried to accomplish anything in it.
>Death flag confirmed
>Deku wants AllMight to live long enough for people to see him as his sucessor
Hori's going all out, I'll be really disappointed if by the end of this arc Deku doesn't reveal himself to the general public
>Mods actually read these threads
He's one of the best fighters in Class 1A and since Todoroki and Bakugou don't have their licenses so it'd make sense why he has an internship especially since he was part of the crew that helped save Bakugou.
I would like to see more birdman though, his quirk is pretty damn strong.
Either the proportions that make his beak look cute, or the more complete look he has with his mask taking place of his face, where Overhaul just has a stupidly long thing on his face, or his overall cartoony looks.
The cartoony proportions just make him more memorable, "scary guy in a suit with a mask" was already done better when AFO was introduced and as a result Overhaul's design doesn't really have as much of an impact as it should
Not really. He had a big, dramatic part in AfO. We're getting less of the good revenge-driven Iida, which is what people like. Funny enough, he's always #8 in popularity polls.
>Hori's going all out, I'll be really disappointed if by the end of this arc "Deku" doesn't reveal himself to the general public
Honestly, I'm skeptical. Would this arc really only focus on Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu and Kirishima?
Seems a little strange, considering that this seems to be a very important arc, much more than the Hero License Exam.
I get Izuku and Ochako, since they are main characters. But the decision to only put two main character and two side characters in an arc like this seem... really weird.
And I question why Tsuyu and Kirishima in particular.
Well yeah, but that's the whole point, people liked the fact that he outgrew his stupid revenge tantrum and reconsidered his values as a hero. If he didn't learn it, people would brand him as new Sasuke and not give a shit about him.
Man All Might is fucking awesome. He also clearly shows that although he knows there other probably better qualified candidates he doesn't regret choosing Deku and wants to keep living for him. Like shit just when you think he can't get anymore based.
On the other hand Sir seems like a shit. I mean he only decided to take on mirio to try and show All Might he was wrong. God he got to be so fucking butthurt by now.
>Honestly, I'm skeptical. Would this arc really only focus on Izuku, Ochako, Tsuyu and Kirishima?
You're forgetting about Sir, Bubble Girl, the Big Three, Ryuku and the villains themselves.
People would get really pissed of if they kill Tsuyu and Kirishima. How would they be the traitor, anyway? With all the actions Kirishima did to save Bakugou, I doubted people still thought he was the traitor
Korean bro, where art thou?
translate this please
To be fair they're on the opposite sides of the spectrum. All Might is all about idealism and going beyond (you see this how he wants to be The Pillar and the Symbol of Peace) whilst Nighteye is pragmatic as all hell seeing the at this very moment the superior Mirio as the far better candidate for OfA.
Please note I'm not either of the two shitposters here and Deku would be far stronger than Mirio and all the other heroes including All Might. Just as of now, Nighteye (rightfully) sees All Might's decision to choose a quirkless middleschool kid over a highschool senior who is so powerful that he rivals some of the top pro heroes as folly and overly optimistic.
And of course All Might would be proven right since he is fucking awesome and not a fag like Nighteye.
>And of course All Might would be proven right since he is fucking awesome and not a fag like Nighteye.
The problem with the series is that we are still waiting for All Might's investment to pay off
No it doesn't, because we saw him grow as a hero and a student of 1A. For him to be the traitor while doing what he did is simply illogical from both character's and writer's perspectives.
>I think Bnha could use a shot of realism.
I think it's doing a better job than most series right now. Deku's arms for example are the realistic outcome of using "that technique that shortens your lifespan" and for once it's actually sticking to the character.
And the series doesn't hide the fact that Deku's blind heroism has recklessly put himself in danger.
>Just as of now, Nighteye (rightfully) sees All Might's decision to choose a quirkless middleschool kid over a highschool senior who is so powerful that he rivals some of the top pro heroes as folly and overly optimistic.
Was his disdain for Deku because he's quirkless or because he feels there were already more qualified people available? I don't think anyone has a bone to pick with Deku being quirkless except for Baku when they were growing up.
Kaminari can interfere with radio transmissions, like all electric-type quirks, and can transmit his own radio signals. He's the only one who can communicate covertly with the Villain Alliance.
We're seeing it pay off though. Deku buys enough time to protect All Might in the USJ saga, defeating Stain and preventing the deaths of Ida and Native, being acknowledged by All Might's teacher as a suitable inheritor of All For One, defeating Muscleman and saving the life of a little boy who hated the concept of heroes and quirks, passing the Hero License Exam and being acknowledged by Mirio as a hero worth cultivating.
He's not the top hero he described himself as in the future, but to say All Might hasn't got any return on his investment is wrong. Especially since All Might himself acknowledges Deku as a great hero who isn't just following his footsteps.
The latter I think, just that Mirio is to the realist that is Nighteye the far better candidate since he's already extremely powerful.
I think Deku being quirkless is the part of there being a more suitable successor, and to be honest it's kind of true, because it took a hell of a long time for him to adjust to having a quirk.
Also Nightwing has a weird obsession with humor, almost to the point where he thinks that main trait of AM is his smile, and for that reason he constantly pushed for a successor who smiles a lot.
To be honest I always thought that Invisigirl was more likely the traitor more than anyone else, hell it would even make sense if she was on AfO's side if she hated her invisibility quirk.
No it isn't and you will be very embarassed when the real traitor revealed. Try to actually analyze the available story instead of picking a character you just want to be the traitor and then finding supporting evidences, because that could be done for any character, including Deku and AM.
He has the shape/form of excalibur.
I'm just waiting for him to get a little more depth instead of just being a random omni-present assistant.
>and to be honest it's kind of true
Well yeah, he doesn't know what it was like to have a quirk for a long period of time and had to get over his own preconceptions and biases to learn how to make it work for him.
Giving a new quirk to someone who already has one means they already know how to deal with some of the stresses related to it. They will have their own biases and preconceptions but at the very least if that person's original quirk required a lot of body awareness they will have a much better time adapting to OfA because they will understand how to read the flow of power through their body better. I would assume at least.
>realist that is Nighteye
Yeah, this is the kicker. All Might admitted that Nighteye being the brains of their operation helped a lot. You are really looking at two ends of the spectrum here between pragmatism and optimism. Even in the hospital flashback Nighteye was all for the long view of a situation (choose and train a successor) and All MIght is all about the short view of the situation (What about the people who need help in the immediate future.)
o boy, light absorption combined with birdy would be amazing, maximum control for the shadowbird. He could go max power without having to afraid of the light or afraid to lose control in the darkness.
Good news Uraraka fans! Your girl gets to participate in the story again!
...The bad news is that it's fucking OVERHAUL
why would I want him to be the traitor? I'm just saying if it's one of the students (which it may not be) the one with most evidence supporting it is him
Unforeseen Simulation Joint Arc
>villain seen digging out of the ground (1st hint to him not having an electric type quirk)
>villain has earth type body (2nd hint to him not having an electric type quirk)
>villain never uses his electric type quirk
>villain doesn't want to kill Kaminari cuz "they both have electric type quirks
School Trip Arc
>his electric type quirk could've worked as a gps for the villains
>one of the fews kids not seen sleeping
>one of the fews kids that didn't fight
>one of the fews kids that wasn't injured
Hideout Raid Arc
>didn't go save Bakugou
everything piled up makes him suspicious
Both seemed Iike the true, secret mastermind twist that Hori can have. Its perfect
Was that supposed to be a pun?
>villain never uses his electric type quirk
Yes he did, and Kaminari was already in retarded state. As I said, the rest of your "evidences" are predicated upon possibilities, not actions.
So its confirmed that with his reaI name reIated to eating, and superhero name being Suneater, Sasuke-Senpai quirk is based of this, right? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rahu
That's all anyone has to go on is possibilities because no character is actually showing any traitorous actions. It's why traitor discussions are kinda pointless until we get something concrete
>Kaminari was already in retarded state
Not the anon you are talking with but Isn't the prevailing theory regarding his retarded state that he's just pretending?
Also does that guy's electric ability mean he can also jam devices? If there are degrees of super strength quirks than I can believe that there are degrees of electric users.
>As I said, the rest of your "evidences" are predicated upon possibilities, not actions.
If the traitor is supposed to be covert and Hori is keeping to that idea there won't be any explicit actions just yet to finger anyone or we wouldn't be having this discussion in the first place.
the whole retarded state could be a bluff and that's supposed to be electricity? I could say that it was the after effect of Kaminari's attack but that would be too farfetched, still pretty he showed digging like powers and has an earth like body but has an electric type quirk
either way doesn't change the fact that he's student with most evidence that he's the traitour
I can't fucking wait to see how she does in an close range 1v1 fight, hope Hori does her good.
I can't think og any way for her to fight people without bending her power to capeshit levels of inflation.
/r/ining that joke comic strip about a guy that can talk to things as written by DC comics btw
What's up with invisigirl? Is invisibility even her real quirk considering she used some kind of light flash attack during the exam? Could be that her quirk's actually general light manipulation and she has to manually keep herself invisible. She could actually be an adult and just pretending to be a student. Maybe she's the traitor. Will we ever get to see what she looks like? Maybe her ability turns off when she goes to sleep or if she is knocked unconscious. Maybe Aizawa could dispel it, assuming it's not a bodily mutation. What if she's actually a 10/10 beauty but no one is able to tell.
Her quirk is invisibility, but invisibility itself is a process of light refraction by her body, meaning it all acts like a lens, which she used by activating a light source at her back and using that refraction in right focus to amplify the light.
Being a student makes little sense, considering the students never knew where they were going before the attacks at camp and the training facility, nor the layouts. It has to be a teacher or that fuzz ball of a principal.
It could be if the student could get information out of a teacher. Consequently right before their departure Hori has put a scene in manga, depicting Shinsou and Eraserhead walking together and ignoring Deku, despite Shinsou noticing his friendly gesture. There is no reason for this scene to be there, unless Hori wanted to point our attention to the character. And Hori has twice pointed reader's attention to Shinsou's more hardened and unfriendly approach, despite his softening during the fight with Deku.
Place your bets. Who is going down this arc? One of the big 3? One of the pro heroes? No one?
As tradition of best girl
>All Might still has a good chance to get killed at some point
I can't take it anymore, just leave him alone already.
Eraser head giving away information is a stretch, not to mention considering how much of a hardass he is he would have immediately confronted him after the attack. This guy was willing to expell everyone involved in the operation to save Baku remember?
The problem with this is that a student would have informed them of the quirks of his classmates during the training camp ambush. That blunder always bothered me, and thinking on it further I wonder if the suspicion theres traitor is a red herring and the villain society is just using bugs or someone installed there during the first break in. Someone who's managing to avoid discovery.
Funner fact: Jack Midoriya shares Uraraka's vomiting gag.
Funnest fact: The plot of the one shot is Jack Midoriya impersonating his hero - something only possible because Positive's costume has a mask that covers Postive's entire face.
>twist of events
It's all might after saving Sir Nighteye, and letting him know that he's the best sidekick someone could have asked for, and to take great care of Deku and make sure he blossoms into a hero the likes of which no one has ever seen. In the moments leading up to this, Sir Nighteye uses foresight on Deku to see that he is finally using muscle form and going belligerent. Deku turns belligerently powerful after witnessing the death of All Might, absolutely fucking everything in the universe up.
All Might was always "Death Flag: the character" but now he has an ACTUAL IN-UNIVERSE ONE.
Shinsou wasn't on the training camp trip though and is said that they specifically didn't tell anyone where they were going as to avoid the information getting out. So if there is a traitor they must have been at the training camp.
She is Marked for Death now.
No way Aizawa wouldn't deduce he got mind controlled from the blackouts in his memory afterwards.
Yes they don't remember what happened but they could still clearly tell SOMETHING happened.
And man Shinsou being a villain would suck so fucking much, him turning out to genuinely want to be a hero was a cool development.
He didn't need to, he could just make Eraser tell him. These panels come right after the one where Eraser tells 1A that their location was changed. Also Nedzu considered all of his students, meaning your reasoning was already denied in-universe by the smartest character.
Hey lads. Off topic but a friend of mine was able to get a sketch of Tsuyu by the main art director of Skullgirls (Alex Ahad) so I felt like sharing it.
>>villain seen digging out of the ground (1st hint to him not having an electric type quirk)
>>villain has earth type body (2nd hint to him not having an electric type quirk)
>>villain never uses his electric type quirk
>>villain doesn't want to kill Kaminari cuz "they both have electric type quirks
but since he got arrested, wouldn't the authorities have already figured out thathe just faked an electricity quirk?
So why wasn't he isolated away from his classmates by Warp? If he was smart enough to be a double agent, he would have made sure not to be put with the smartest girl in the class and forced to fight. In fact, look who was isolated and no one cared? Navel Laser.
Shinsou really couldn't. I'd say shinsou probably has a better chance of getting the principal to tell him than aizawa. Also aizawa is obviously interested in shinsou and has been since the festival so he'd be aware that something has happened to him. It would be retarded for shinsou to try that. And those panels can be more easily explained as aizawa wanting to train the kid as he sees value in his quirk that was unfairly limited because of the nature of the entrance exam.
To initiate mind control Shinsou just needs fora character to answer him, meaning all he had to do was come to Eraser and ask something academic. As to whether Eraser would notice that he was min-controlled that indeed is a question, but that falls in the realm of possibilities, and it's easy to find a possibility for Shinsou's power to take care of that. What we have is the fact that Hori has put that scene in manga in this particular place and Shinsou being the traitor is the best explanation for both why this scene is here and why the information on the location of the camp was the only thing leaked. If for example someone in class A was a traitor they would relay that students are aware of league's location.
And I too don't want Shinsou to be a villain, but it's possible for him to just be controlled by them.
I havent, but also didn't forget that this is eraserhead, who not only was one of his teachers but would always be wary of him using his power. Mind controlling him of all characters is iffy, especially with the lack of memory being a dead giveaway.
Then how do you explain the existence of the Shinsou appearance before the new term? Hori wanted to point out that he's not the same as he was after fighting Deku. What reason would he have for it?
>finally using muscle form
And onther speedreader who hasnt understood anything.
One for All is not tied to anything "Buff muscle form" related. How can all might turn into the form if he has no OfA anymore?
The "muscle form" is just all might flexing his muscles, to shortly appear back how he looked like BEFORE the had to do those surgerys that made him look devastated like he does now.
You don't get to handwave that with "oh that is indeed a question".
What's far more likely is that Aizawa sees potential in Shinsou that a typical heroing curriculum wouldn't nurture and is arranging some kind of special program/extra classes for him, considering Aizawa himself was apparently kind of an underground hero too.
If they wanted to hint Shinsou was gathering info for the villains, we'd have seen him together with a less witty adult like Mic or something.
Yeah, a big part of Deku's development is that he's NOT All Might and shouldn't focus on emulating him too much, we won't get a "muscle form", at most Deku himself just getting more muscular, which probably won't happen to keep his character design consistent.
All Might was muscle bound to begin with and last chapter's flashback shows that the state he's currently in is the result of him slowly degenerating from back when the "muscle form" was his default.
It is. All Mights natural form is not a skeleton. His true natural form is the one you call muscle form. So deku's "Muscle form" is what he looks like now. If he gets stronger and puts on more muscle then his "muscle form" will have more muscle because the muscle form is just what he looks like.
It's more that according to Sir Nighteye, it's happening soon.
Personally I think he'll die but since it's been explicitly stated, it'd happen some time after. Not within the foresight's range.
Because is long term predictions aren't accurate, and he probably wouldn't agree to it anyway. Think of the psychological impact on people, All Might accepted his probable death with ease because he is the best, but others would freak out.
I'm talking about the first ambush. He was awol for a bit.
Not that I think he's a traitor or any of the students, just pointing out that there's a lot of suspects if you focus on everything out of place.
I dunno bout you, but that name sounds pretty badass.
For some vague reason I suspect the coming events will not unfold in perhaps the most savory of manners
"Amajiki" comes from the kanji of "天" and "喰". "Tamaki" comes from a single Kanji (according to the spoilers), which is "環".
"天" translates to - heavens, sky, or imperial. "喰" translates to - eat, drink, or receive (as in to receive a blow). "環" translates to - ring, circle, link, or wheel.
Is this just shitposting or do you people not realize that editors are a thing?
There's no fucking way his editors will let him kill any of the highly marketable girls like Froppy & Uravity.
It's the same as faggots that thought Byakuya was gonna stay dead near the end of Bleach. Fangirls literally kept him alive.
AM will probably have a peaceful death, he'll be happy that he managed to change destiny enough as it is, and then die with a content smile on his face.
Fucking japs, seriously. Can you imagine if every one of our letters had like five meanings and could be read in two different ways? Why don't they just drop Kanji and switch to one of the kanas? It would be so much more functional, albeit they'd still be incapable of using consonants without supplementary vowels.
>other top students and their tutors are also going after the precepts
This actually improves Mirio's chances of survival a little bit, although he is still the most likely one to kick the bucket.
>We don't get to see Suneater & Kirishima's mentor
Do you think it'll be in any way related to Crimson Riot? Kirishima said he was an old hero and WAS a man among men so he's probably not still operating, but maybe their mentor could be like his old sidekick or something.
Also, just noticed the fucking metal TEETH around Suneater's neck. I guess he literally does eat shit as part of his power. Unless he's just like Deku and just has that shit there for decoration.
Great, we now have ANOTHER top 10 hero that isn't #3.
>1 - Endeavor (formally All Might)
>2 - ??? (Formally Endeavor)
>3 - Edge Shot (Formally ???)
>4 - ??? (Formally Best Jeanist)
>5 - ??? (Formally Edge Shot)
>6-8 - ???
>9 - Ryukyu
>10 - ???
I hope he fucking fills in more of those goddamn holes, especially #2/3. It's triggering my autism something fierce.
Sir will be ultimately proven wrong, even if his prediction was spot on. That will be his character development, he'll stop being such an assblasted autist and become a true man of resolve like his idol was.
If he was in the top 10, he'd probably be pretty high up and it would have been mentioned by now.
Actually, now that I think about it, Ryukyu being #9 may have more to it.
Everyone moved down 2 spaces after the All for One shit.
That means Ryukyu was #11, just shy of top 10 material.
I wonder if she'll be all worried about performing at such a level.
Oh, I missed that one.
Guess he's #8 now.
I'm not even sure if Endeavor is #1. He probably is in power, but his public image is mostly crap.
Also I'd be more interested in that "looks like a villain" chart for heroes that was brought up in Orca's introduction. I bet Endeavor tops that.
