leave katakuri to me
What makes Ichiji Vinsmoke the single most powerful being in the One Piece universe?
By now we all know Oda likes to have big story moments on each chapter milestone. What are your predictions for 900 and 1000?
Here is a list of the ones I remember off the top of my head , fill in the rest if you can.
>Ch 100: loguetown, dragon's appearance, grand line
Ch 500: celestial dragon inciden
Ch 800: strawhat fleet
Ch 900: reverie
Ch 1000: luffy meets Dragon and he learns about will of D
I'd make an argument that its just different. Not necessarily that it isn't as good as it used to be. Arcs pre-timeskip felt so personal and focused. It was the StrawHats vs Whatever threat they had to face. Now Its not just the Straw Hats, but multiple parties involved. The scale is bigger, and there is a lot going on. I think it reflects the way the new world works. Alliances are important, but things just don't feel quaint like they used too. I miss that feeling, but I also love seeing just how far the Straw Hats have come. They're in the big leagues now, and personally I like the direction its headed in just as much as pre-timeskip. Were also still coming down from the high that was Marineford which is going to be hard to top until we get close to the end of the story.
>Ch 900:the kaido attacks the reverie and declares war on every nation in the world goverment
Will Katakuri save the reputation of Big Mom's otherwise joke of a crew?
that wouldn't be too unusual, but for some reason she can't predict typical every day events
some literally who little girl born in Skypeia was able to match Eneru's devil fruit boosted CoO power, CoO may have an intuitive angle to it
end this meme
ch 200: luffy's 2nd fight with crocodile begins, not significant
ch 300: effective conclusion of the skypiaea arc, enel goes to space. somewhat significant
ch 400: cp9 match ups, nothing significant
ch 500: incident doesn't even start here. happens the chapter after. come on now.
ch 600: isle of new beginning, first chapter after the 2 year time skip. how did you forget this one?
ch 700: sunny finally makes it to dressrosa, next chapter they make land
ch 800: strawhat fleet. probably the only big one since ch 100.
WHY THE FUCK DOES THE CHAPTER END WITH THE TEA PARTY STARTING???
FOR HOW LONG CAN THIS HACK KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT?
>king of shipping
How did SaNafag get into the story?
Pre-TS Luffy, sure.
But Sanji is going to beat some sense into his brothers, and you're going to make some excuse for it, rationalizing just as much as the 'Monet is alive' faggot. The Vinsmokes are just a plot device to show that Sanji cares enough about honor to save his worthless family from a Yonkou. They're background filler for the tea party. For fuck's sake, if not for Sanji, the entire Vinsmoke family will get killed by candy bullets. Pathetic.
at the absolute very least yonji is getting curbstomped.
I predict the other two and dad will be in a bind getting wrecked by BM's guests or crew with Sanji coming to their rescue in a hamfisted "you bitches owe me" way, but for yonji will personally get whooped by sanji. maybe even just casually kicked out of the way
>barely any activity in this thread
>no one posted spoilers yet
the fuck is going on here
I really like Big Mom's crew. I'm not sure what you were expecting. We already saw a Yonkou crew with Whitebeard.
They're like if the Freys dressed up as fairy tale characters and threw food at people.
You niggers have to post the full spoilers every thread for us drive by fans to properly judge. Otherwise you end up with ded threads like this because we have no idea what's going on and don't care enough to go to another website to find out.
Ch. 860 10:00 Opening of the Reception
Pekomz has been left by himself at the eastern bay entrance.
Aladine and the others have left the island according to Jinbe's instructions.
Jinbe gives a detailed explanation of the roulette
The numbers written on the roulette collectively represent the number of victims fallen to the punishments.
Jinbe, who wasn't going to suffer that ridiculous punishment, gave instructions for them to make a break for it from the island in the confusion of the incident at the tea party.
The Vinsmokes are walking through the castle, and the ceremony location appears to be a rooftop.
The guests to the tea party arrive one after another.
Loan Shark King "The God of Fortune" - Le Feld
Red Light District Queen - Stussy
Great Mortician - Drug Pietro
The World Economic Journal President "Big News" - Morganz
The Veteran Warehouse "The Concealer" Giberson
The King of Shipping "Deep Current" Umit
They all arrive to the rooftop by a candy escalator made by Perospero.
In font of the place of the tea ceremony, Organ Trader Jigra is making a fuss about getting inside. He is stubbornly refusing to a bodycheck by Bege, but is shot someone and loses his life.
There is a lone figure on the top of the gate.
Big Mom Pirates - One of the 3 Sweet Commanders
The Second son of the Charlotte Family
Charlotte Katakuri - 1,057,000,000 bounty
According to Bege, he is an extremely troublesome man and monster whose bounty has exceeded 1 billion and has honed his Observation Haki to such a degree that he can see a little bit into the future
Katakuri explains that he saw into the future that Jigra attempted to assassinate Big Mom.
Big Mom arrives at the location, and the Tea Party begins.
not the anon you're replying to, but probably something like this. waste of a potentially cool new shichibukai
If Bege knew about Katakuri and what he could do, then his plan will fail spectacularly if they don't deal with Katakuri's CoO, The plan was ridiculous since we read about it but you don't even need Luffy or Gastiny to fuck this up.
>"we want more edgy swordsmen with stern looks and long coats and badass abilitys and have I mentioned that he must be edgy?"
People are fucking retarded. There are already enough "cool" and "dark" characters out there, not every damn Shichibukai can be like fucking Mihawk or Law. That goofy guy is exactly what we needed in my opinion
For what it's worth
>Spoiler provider says that Katakuri looks younger than expected and his hair is short and black. He also says KatakurI's body looks robust and his face is cool.
If they pull this off with exit i'm gonna eat my fucking shoes theres so many things that could go wrong and now we have Katakuri and the Underworld bosses
>Raizo, a revered ninja of wano that Jack is willing to destroy all of zou for just to find
>turns out to be a JAJAJAJAJAJA LELEFUNNYnoJUTSUUUU
>sweet commander cracker, a formidable foe with accomplished haki hardening and a fearsome reputation that precludes him
>WOHOHOHOOOOO HOW COULD YOU DEFEAT MY ULTIMATE NABISCO RITZ PEPPERIDGE FARMS CHAKRA ARMOR MODE
>Katakuri is so talented he can see a little into the future and Bege in particular considers him troublesome
I get that Oda has a colorful style, but not EVERY single "major" antagonist has to have a goofy A-HYUK HYUK gimmick
Honestly tho the gimmicks are what keep One Piece from falling into the same edgelord pit that Naruto ended up in near the end. I can't speak for anyone else but my favorite thing about One Piece is that it maintains a sense of humor throughout.
>AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THEY HAVE CHARACTER TRAITS REEEEEEEEEEEE STOP GUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHG
>double niggers don't spoiler the spoilers
Cracker was a scary-cool looking dude with a strong defensive fruit and impressive strength and skill. Are you being dumb on purpose or making shit up to argue for something that isn't even an issue or an absolute fact in OP?
>When cracker seemed OP and too hard to handle
>Luffy somehow destroys him
>Turns out that it actually was just one of the soldiers that Cracker can make an army of
Speedreaders won't understand. Maybe they just need to see it in anime where every gasp and moan lasts for three minutes.
I get that and agree. It's refreshing that One Piece gas a fair amount of genre awareness. I'm not hating this specifically but>>154916204
Let me break this down and back up since you don't get it.
I specifically have a problem with the antagonists of this particular arc.
Yes, we all know by now what to expect from Oda this many chapters into the story. I enjoy it as much as the next person. But compared to previous arcs the only intrigue, suspense and dread has been in seeing how the clusterfuck of a wedding goes down, but NOT any of the antagonists in particular.
Not every foe the Strawhats face have to be an edgelord seriousbizness insufferable foil, but with previous antagonistic forces or new potential allies there was an actual sense of feeling like this particular character would actually wreck shit or use their talent/fruit/etc in a very clever or threatening way. This includes people who had leftover food on their face, a literal diaper and baby pacifier, an okama, an extremely versatile carpenter with a silly giraffe zoan fruit that still managed to be threatening, and so on.
since Zou, we've had so many 15 ZABINTILLION BELLI BOUNTYYYY and UH OH YOU DONT WANNA MESS WITH THIIIISSS GUY characters simply getting stomped a few chapters later. and no, I'm not a Bobbinfag. I'm just saying this arc in particular feels like Oda has overloaded with a lot of cool concepts and designs only to immediately lampshade them in a few chapters.
we know Katakuri's ability will clearly throw a wrench in the assassination plan, but it will be nice if finally after a while we have a character who fully threatens in more than just name and hype.
"meme character" wasn't the best choice of words, but now do you follow me? I genuinely liked this arc so far as an 8/10 overall.
That's because we're being introduced to the strongest pirates in the world, but the Straw Hats can't fight them yet; these characters are going to remain relevant for the next 2-5 arcs.
If you think Big Mom is being defeated here, or Kaidou is on Wano, you're dumber than the 10-year olds Oda writes this for.
I kinda agree with you, I feel like a lot of the antagonists lack buildup like they've had in the past.
If you look at enies lobby, the whitebeard war, or even dressrosa all of the major antagonists have had some form of appearance, in the water 7 lead up, the admirals periodically appearing and wrecking stuff, and punk hazard cameos all of the major antagonists had some form of exposition before the strawhats met up with them.
I haven't seen as much of this since dressrosa and it leads to the pacing feeling much faster, where an antagonist is introduced and then beaten in the same encounter, rather than being foreshadowed for multiple chapters before the actual fight.
nigga there are only 3 characters with something that can be considered a "15 ZABINTILLION BELLI BOUNTYYYY".
none of them have gotten stomped. one of them hasn't even been shown yet.
yes, this! It made sense in my head but I guess I couldn't articulate it well beyond 'meme character.' But you summed up in far less sentences and posts what I was trying to get at. thanks, and my bad
It is a legitimately good arc, and I think most people would agree it's one of the best so far. I just personally felt like an influx of interesting abilities and characters were highlighted and immediately casted aside.
but other anons are right that I shouldn't rule out many of these characters returning in later events.
>mfw haki is becoming slowly but surely the new sharingan
OP ends on chapter 1200, there will be alot of significant moments from now on.
Lots of stuff skipped or shortened as well like elbaf.
>ch 1 - Romance Dawn - The Dawn of the Adventure
>ch 601 - Romance Dawn For the New World: The Dawn of an Adventure into a New World
You mean that thing that every single woman on the amazon island can use?
Yeah, it sure is becoming overused huh.
Instead you mean CoCk which less than 10 people have.so far. In the entire world.
That's people that have been shown to have it in a useable form though, I wanna say it was alluded to in the chapters before the timeskip that anyone that was making waves in the news was likely to have that form of haki
>is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan that appears selectively among its members. It is regarded as one of the "Three Great Dōjutsu", the others being the Byakugan and the Rinnegan. While its powers originated from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Rinne Sharingan, its independent form was first manifested by Indra Ōtsutsuki
I don't know either but I'm afraid to ask at this point
Haki is "instincts and intuition".
It also helps users to beat angry magma people, cause Oda can't come up with some asspull, like "water helps beat sandman", every time he need Luffy to beat one of the logia.
> Katakuri approaches BM, tells her to not open Tamatebako, having foreseen the explosion
> BM "you can't tell me what to do at MY tea party"
> opens box, gigantic explosion that incapacitates Katakuri due to proximity, and kills the sketchy individuals (likely underworld brokers)
Friendly reminder that this picture exist
I mean how everything revolves around it and that Haki is a Swiss Army Knife just like the sharingan did about 20 different things by the end of Naruto.
>haki powerlevel, aka my haki power is higher than yours, so i slap your shit, instead of just being a static power up which also allows logias to be hit
>haki now sees through the non immediate future (more than 2s)
Next Oda will say that you can share your Haki with other people so Luffy's crew can wombo combo the shit out of the logias as of right now Luffy is not strong to 1v1 the big players and his alliance won't show up until the war at the end of the manga. Possibly Haki will serve as a Kaioken to his fruit because lol haki shenanigans, so Luffy will get twice as tanky because he is now twice as rubbery. He will keep adding small bits of bullshit to Haki.
It's just more likely. For instance, as far as we know none of the other super novas have CoCK, none of Whitebeard's division commanders aside from Ace had it, and so far none of the Sweet Commanders nor Jack have it. Those are all pirates who have made waves out in the New World.
Honestly, the only odd one out of all the people to have had it so far is Chinjao, but we also haven't seen the happo Navy so maybe it would become more understandable with additional context.
>aka my haki power is higher than yours, so i slap your shit
Name 20 instances of that happening, with references of course
>haki now sees through the non immediate future (more than 2s)
Enel could sense the entirety of his island, what's your point
If anything this could get interesting. I'd rather have different variations of haki instead of everyone having nigger hands
I don't think there is anything wrong with it doing multiple things as long as it doesn't do all those things at once.
If you consider haki something that is uniquely tied to the character themselves it becomes much harder to abuse as a lazy power level equivalent, like the devil fruits without having to eat a fruit.
You are giving haki far more depth then it actually has because you refuse to understand the basic components of each color.
CoA: A strong shield of will power made manifest. It increases the hardness and durability of whatever it is applied to.
CoO: Sensing the presence of other things. That includes position, relative strength and intentions.
CoCK: So far seems to simply override other living thing's wills, resulting in them passing out.
This is how they were introduced by Rayleigh, and nothing we've seen since then has actually expanded their powers beyond how they were first described. Katasuki's ability, for example, seems to be a manipulation of CoO being able to sense intentions of people/animals.
The Sharingan was never mentioned to be able to do 99% of the shit it did by the end of the series when it was first introduced.
>I mean how everything revolves around it and that Haki is a Swiss Army Knife just like the sharingan did about 20 different things by the end of Naruto
The number of things Haki can do hasn't changed
>Next Oda will say that you can share your Haki with other people so Luffy's crew can wombo combo the shit out of the logias as of right now Luffy is not strong to 1v1 the big players and his alliance won't show up until the war at the end of the manga. Possibly Haki will serve as a Kaioken to his fruit because lol haki shenanigans, so Luffy will get twice as tanky because he is now twice as rubbery. He will keep adding small bits of bullshit to Haki.
Oh you're talking out of your ass
>haki now sees through the non immediate future (more than 2s)
Observation Haki has always allowed you to predict things you imbecile, Katakuri just trained his to where he can take it a step further
>luffy vs doffy
Which ended up being a fight between a tiered DF and an awakened DF
>vergo vs law
Which Vergo lost despite being in full nigga mode
>law vs doffy
I don't remember any haki being involved, unless you're quoting anime
>Garp vs chinjao and luffy
That's one. 19 to go.
Now you also have to say what's wrong with that
doffy and law one was for the sake of law's fruit having no effect on doffy to which I believe was due to resistance cause of haki, kinda like first signs we law with the first part of law and vergo
Okay but how is one haki being stronger than another a bad thing
Not everyone has equal willpower
Just as not everyone is equal in physical strenght
Bitching about haki is like bitching about Luffy one-shotting Bellamy back in mock town
Who /three bar squats/ here?
You do want Zoro mode, right?
>honed his Observation Haki to such a degree that he can see a little bit into the future
How the fuck are they gonna get past this guy?
No seriously, how the actual fuck is this guy going to be used correctly without killing the main characters? Bege HAS to be planning a double-double cross if this is the first we're seeing of this guy.
luffy vs crocodile part 3
zoro vs Mr 1
zoro vs kaku
zoro vs ryuuma
luffy (and nightmare) vs Moria
luffy vs Rob Lucci
akainu vs ace (my magma burns fire)
They all just literally overpower their opponents. I don't know about these creative gimmick fights that people seem to think haki took away, because they sure as don't like the Yeti Cool Brothers, Zoro vs Pica and Luffy vs Cracker requiring some strategy.
Why is Carrot
a fucking slut? Like holy shit, woman, wear some underwear.
How would the story change if Luffy ate different fruit than rubber one? Like Bane Bane, Bara Bara or something else.
inb4: Enel would win
looks very intimidating, like cracker
>Guts got so tired of waiting for new Berserk content to come out that he decided to make a cameo in One Piece
It's a good day to love bishonen. Been waiting years for this, Oda.
The Whitebeards weren't really pirates in the normal sense, more like a bunch of fags circlejerking over their "family". The creep is real but it also makes sense that people who protect territories would have lower bounties than those that extort territories.
Whitebeard told ace to take up his name partially in order to protect him, it's also why blackbeard had no bounty prior to the war. The whitebeard pirates weren't given high bounties because they didn't wanna piss whitebeard off.
I think big mom's crew is more effective at team battle and business dealing instead of straight up fighting. Speaking of which, we hasn't heard anything about big mom's 1st son, though we have heard how powerful the 2nd son is, 1st is probably just as bullshit powerful as all of supernova combine.
what if this fucking ridiculous plan of getting her to stub a knee actually works perfectly to a T
but bege really wanted to watch the strawhat empire crumble before it even began so he lied about Big Mom's weakness. And the only reason it worked was because Luffy's entrance was just too funny
I wouldn't compare Ace to the big commanders of other Yonko. Can't imagine Cracker/Jack going down in literally two hits by Akainu, someone like Jozu/Vista would be a little more comparable.
Whitebeard never was that violent or anything, and a pretty upstanding kind of guy in the grand scheme of things. Same reason Kidd had a higher bounty than Luffy and also the reason why Luffy's bounty isn't nearly as high as his strength would imply - if you don't regularly attack civilians or marines you aren't considered as much of a threat.
Whitebeards crew probably also caused less civilian casualites because they were friendly big family fags that didnt seem to extort anyone.
In one piece world a bunch of 500 million heads is probably greater than a few billion beri heads.
It's funny how life works; anon complained about "LOLMEME" characters, and as if Oda telling him to go choke on a dick and die; gives him "Cool edgy" guy.
GOda works in mysterious ways.
>A penny on the nose is worth more than two in the bush, Ray
Other anons have given good logically sound answers, but in addition to those i really do think that bounty creep has taken off since probably Chinjao.
Chinjao was a 500mil in his younger days, yet he posed little actual trouble to Luffy. Jack was the first 1bil bounty and he jobbed like an idiot.
I know it was for the sake of hyping up the Yonko, but Cracker and Jack having something in the range of 600mil-800mil would have been far more believable, while still being imposing as the largest canonical bounties we'd seen so far.
>Chinjao was a 500mil in his younger days
Chinjao in his prime decades ago when he clashed with Roger's rival Garp, with a full drill that split the ice continent. Not a flat headed old man who cried in front of Luffy because of years of depression.
>Has the tatters of Corazons black feather cape
>Bandana to hide identity
>Look closely. Bullet scar on chest
Corazon with his hair died black
Yeah, looks more like a Kaido's commander.
Hopefully he won't job.
>the boat Guts was traveling on was actually one of Big Mom's ships
If your family was a bunch of clown-looking jobbers, wouldn't you be the same?
>go choke on a dick and die
>grants him his wish
That's the exact opposite.
More like Oda knew when to stop the memetrend, unlike his faggot fanboys who like to choke on rittre japanese dicku.
You think Corazon can flip a coin without losing it?
I do see the bullet scar senpai>>154920135
But I hope you are wrong. Corazon was one of the few people we can say Oda had the balls to kill off
God if it turns out he wasn't really dead idk
>If your family was a bunch of clown-looking jobbers, wouldn't you be the same?
but the rest of big mom family seems to be fine with it. It has to be tragic accident or family dispute related. Then again, Lola was already a outcast of the family.
>It turns out Doffy loved his brother after all and isn't such a bad guy
>Missed his vital organs but shot the fuck out of him so no one would think he was weak
>Corazon wakes up a while after Law leaves
>Wants to protect Law but can't go near Doffy ever again
>Secretly joins Kaidos crew to keep an eye on Doffy
Cracker got fucking memed on
>but muh 11 hour nami
fucking irrelevant because it got shoved aside in an exposition box, not portrayed in the actual manga in an actual way where it's supposed to cause an impact of how he can match up to Luffy or whatever. This was before his true body was revealed, and since then he was a literal joke whose death was a punchline.
Speaking as a Corazonfag, what the fuck are you talking about nigger
Did you not read the rest of the flashback after he kidnapped Law?
His clumsiness is why he got tripped and got wounded by Diez's goons and why he slipped up by talking in front of Vergo. He even says to Law he's been a clutz since he was born when his lie is revealed.
now that I look at it, the scarf and all those faggy belts around the leg scream JOJO way more than Guts whose only resemblance is black clothes, black hair, and stone face
He isn't a tranny he is a tranny fucker.
>vulnerable in the rain
>offering the umbrella to some poor puppy
What happened to this vicious bastard? Why is he such a tsun now?
Is this training to get over how reliant he is on his DF? Is that a therapy dog?
He has been transformed as a person by his interactions with Luffy and is now ready to become a Nakama
Because Luffy hates him? He hates him for what he did to Alabasta, and the last time they were together during Impel Down/Marinford that hadn't diminished at all.
It's the same reason as to why Ceaser Clown won't join. There's too much antipathy between him and Luffy.
So did Mr 3, is Mr. 3 going to become a nakama?
Luffy will also remember what Croc did and tried to do to Vivi's home, which is much more significant story wise then a single panel of Croc stopping some grunt executioners.
When hachi was kidnapped before sabaody it took convincing to get the crew to not leave him for dead. Croc and Luffy have a worse relationship, and Croc won't trade takoyaki for friendship.
I highly doubt it's in the cards.
Bellamy stole some gold and insulted Luffy and Zoro.
Corcodile tried to take over Alabasta by causing a civil war and tried to murder Vivi, a person who Luffy actually considers something of a defacto crew mate, at least for a time.
Luffy might not outright refuse to work with Croc, but his alliance at impel down was one of mutual benefit in the moment, and at Marinford Croc helped exactly once, and that was after Luffy stopped him from his attempt on Whitebeard's life.
He will at most become something of an allied Pirate, less devoted than one of the Grand fleet but generally on his side, but that will probably only happen during the great war. Even that is less likely than just a mutual alliance for personal gain again.
How about when Franky robbed them, beat up Usopp and stole their ship and attacked Luffy repeatedly.
No way that guy could ever redeem himself in Luffy's eyes. He would have to risk his life to save one of Luffy's beloved friends or something
I think the difference is in how far Franky wanted to repent for what he did, at Enies' Lobby it was Franky that bet on the Strawhats, I'm not saying that Luffy alone would never accept Croc for what he had done earlier, I'm saying that their mutual relationship wouldn't allow Croc to join the crew.
It's the nature of the good guy to always accept the bad guy by being the bigger man, Croc however has never been a repentant character, and him wanting to join the strawhats is sitcom levels of absurd.
Luffy had one small panel of reaction to croc taking down the executioners, and his reaction to Croc aiding his escape, it's hard to say. He wouldn't remember any of it, so its predicated on Jinbe telling him, which isn't something I would assume happened.
The difference lies in the meta narrative structure.
So far we have had two former enemies join the crew, Robin and Franky.
Of the two, neither were their respective arc's major antagonist.
Franky is the closest to what the infinitesimal scenario involving Croc joining would look like, but Franky directly redeemed himself in the same arc, filled a niche that was desperately needed on the crew. and was above all unique in being a cyborg.
Robin joined directly after Alabasta, and even during her time as a villain she never did anything all that bad. More of an antagonist, her worst moment was when we were led to believe she had killed Igaram (which turned out to not even be the case).
Explain to me two things:
1) Why do you want Croc to join?
2) What role does he serve in the crew, and in the larger narrative? Would anyone on the crew accept his joining?
>Why do you want Croc to join
Because he is cool and I like him
>What roll does he serve
>Why would he want to join
Because he had lost the will to dream or care and he got it back after fighting against and then alongside Luffy
You're going to have to provide a source for that, because everything I'm finding seems to state that this is an unsubstantiated rumor.
People seem to say it comes from a Jump Festa interview in 2009, but I'm not able to currently ind that.
>Because he had lost the will to dream
he was dreaming world domination before Luffy fucked up his pluton plans. He just seems like a character that wants to be the boss, if you strip Crocodile of his own will to that extent I'd say he is too cucked to remain the same character.
This guy has the same teeth as Bluejam from the Luffy flash-back.
Is this the organ trader guy who got BTFO by Katakuri?
Also, kinda disappointed none of the new characters has a similiar silhouette to one of the unknown brokers who were watching Caesar's experiment in Punk Hazard
I really wanted to see the cigar guy
He said dreams were stupid and all that fuck the world I'm edgy shit.
Obviously he was butthurt about getting wrecked by WB. But now Luffy showed him dreams are pretty neat and so he will help with Luffy's because his generation is over. He saw Luffy use CoC.
I wasn't talking about other possible Big Mom's subordinates, but rather since we know that these guys are big shots in the underworld, someone of them would have been interested in illegal weapons, someone completely unaffiliated to Big Mom.
In any case, none of the "fields" these criminals operate in seem to be directly related to a weapon of mass killing like Caesar's ones; we'are talking about loan sharks, pimps, etc..
Oh but he doesn't have any skin yohohoho
You sure got me, I'm sure the world government ordered the mindless robot to eat the honey as an experiment of the effects of honey on robots.
On the real I'm not complaining about the silliness, it's one of the manga's strongest features, I just think we should be careful taking cover artworks as canon.
I hope that more than 5 guests will show up at the wedding. I don't care if they do anything or not but it just seems a little sad right now.
She already said that she doesn't care.
He looks like he belongs in Kaido's crew rather than Big Mom's crew.
>Whitebeard was fhe real deal surrounded by fodder
I'm guessing it's because the crimes committed by the Big Mom pirates are far worse than anything the Whitebeard pirates have ever done. Whitebeard and his men didn't go around burning islands to the ground to steal their candy. The Whitebeard pirates didn't have connections to every major underworld figure. The Whitebeard pirates didn't even rule over any territory, they just had places under their "protection", unlike Big Mom who is basically a head of state of a rogue nation.
I think you are the one putting more emphasis on bounties and not understanding that
Bounties = crime + time.
Older generations are causing more crime by the simple fact that they are older than the newer generation.
where were you, when crocodile completely redeemed himself?
>thinking nami would settle for a cook than a pirate king
you underestimate nami's greed
Contrary to popular belief, Nami isn't Fujiko.
>YWN have a giantess mermaid wife look at you like this
Yeah, it's the powercreep. The inflation of bounties throughout the series is there and we have to deal with it.
You can look back on the East Blue arc for reference. At the time of Luffy's 30m bounty was considered to be a really big deal - the largest bounty in the entire region.
I'm not sure what a newspaper editor is even doing here. He's presumably not a wanted man if he can publish his newspapers freely, being seen consorting with known criminals and pirates IN PUBLIC might get him in trouble with the law.
>Scoop: Vinsmokes attempt to assassinate Big Mom in the middle of the wedding and get killed for their trouble
>Germa 66's men liberated from the Vinsmoke tyranny, grateful to Big Mom
Final crewmember confirmed once again.
This may all be her equivalent of a fleet and she has a core group that was her crew as a rookie that she sails personally with, not quite unlike how the Strawhats are set up. Bege did mention even stronger people yet arriving to the party. Imagine a ship of First Mate Big Dad, Eldest Child and First Daughter, etc.
>Strawhat Luffy goes on murderous rampage on Whole Cake Island but was stopped by the Noble Cracker
>Soul King Brook betrayed and killed by his own Captain
>Kaido still on Wano doing shit nobody cares about because he sucks
There was always going to be 11 members of the Straw Hats
>Luffy says he wants to recruit 10 people
