Because they already showed it in the last episode of s1 and the nationals ep of s2. You already know what their performance sounds like, and since it was only good enough for bronze it's up to your imagination to fill in why. It also serves to soften the blow of it being bronze by redirecting that narrative energy to the characters (especially giving Reina some closure on her Taki plot thread) rather than blowing it all on a performance that ends in disappointment and doesn't add any new information for the viewer.
