The early episodes weren't always tanoshii for me. Kaban's fragility made me worry a lot about her early on. Like how she could move fast or needed to keep resting. Or almost got eaten by ceruleans twice in ep 1. Then when Toki was carrying her, she'd loosen her grip now and then. There were things early on that gave me the sense that the world was a bit more dangerous than it let on.

She felt like she forgot something important, but didn't know why. I'd love a new game, but definitely not some mobage like the original. Modern console hardware, even mobile stuff like the Switch (hell, I'd buy the damn thing just to play KemoFure), can easily render animation that looks just like the TV show, and whatever the game is it should take advantage of that. Some other anon suggested an Atelier-style RPG and I think that would be ideal.

The only thing that sucks about a future game is that the chances of an English translation are pretty low, unless the company thinks they can use its success in Japan to market it. Hopefully they'll follow the anime's lead and use Kana for everything...
