What the fuck happens next episode?
It's all mahou-chan's doing?
Will they meet again, or will it all be forgotten come Idol Time?
Is drifting down the toegay also Aikatsu?
OVA in a few years about Lala taking a break while her daughters take care of the business, she goes back to Pripara after many years so she can welcome Jewlie after being relegated from her job as a kami idle.
/ourgirl/ will save us.
Kii's hair would make the best pillow ever.
Only a few months left until the movie of the decade is released.
I actually enjoyed my rewatch of S2 more than the first time I watched it. There's really not as many ties as I remembered.
Seira beating Ichigo right off the bat is still the biggest bullshit in Aikatsu though.
They needed to make Seira and co look like an actual threat so they shafted Ichigo, despite the fact that she was already nipping at the heels of the current top idol by this point.
Post literal perfection
Honestly what upset me the most wasn't just the loss, but a scene at the end of the first episode of S2. Mizuki is talking with Tiara and says she's confident they'll win the showdown against Starlight as long as Ichigo doesn't come back. Such a strong statement straight from Mizuki means so much for what her ability is perceived to be, then she just goes on to tie and then lose.
Even Kii was hyping her up and was like "oh fuck" when Ichigo actually showed up. But yeah, having Mizuki pretty much tell them they can't win if Ichigo comes back should have been the nail in the coffin. They had to come up with the PC so they could justify Ichigo not just eventually blowing Seira out of the water by the time a rematch with Mizuki appears.
Things that could have been good.
The boat will save us right? It won't let us down?
I want to fuck Lala.
The first half of season 2 had some pretty good episodes too.

What's the science of this?
There are multiple sources and reasons but tl;dr it provides structural physical support so that you don't overextend and worsen the sprain/injury as the compression wrap limits the extent of your degrees of motion.
Are you ready for Yume to take it all home tomorrow?
Cause I'm not.
Friendly reminder to abandon all hope.
From less shitstorm to biggest shitstorm:
Yume narrowly beats Rola and gets crushed by Hime
Yume loses to Rola by something stupid like 10 points
Yume and Rola TIE
Yume beats Rola by at least 200 points but later on gets crushed by Hime either way
Yume beats Hime
No matter the result today, it'll be just the cherry on top of the shitpile. Everything already got ruined last week and no matter what happens today it can't be "good" in any sense of the word.
At this point I either want Yume to take it all the way home and BTFO Hime, or lose as horribly as possible.
We've been over this so many times, lets not start this again.
>I seriously do not understand you.
Neither I do you but I've long since stopped trying to, you cannot reason with a drone who will defending and try to rationalize whatever happens no matter what after all.
>I can only suspect that you're letting your feelings get in the way of your logic.
Funny, I could say the same of you. So what if I feel Lily was more deserving of winning? Am I not allowed to be upset or what?
More or less the same. Might as well go full trainwreck at this point.
>We've been over this so many times, lets not start this again.
Alas, if only some people could manage to accept that there's people out there who don't believe Stars is the greatest thing since sliced bread and the most perfect anime that has ever graced television and dare to believe it has, dare I say it, flaws?
Can't have that though, if you believe any of that you are CLEARLY just watching Stars wrong!
Hime losing to Elsa would actually qualify as jobbing. What better way to show them as a credible threat than beat Hime of all people? Though, obviously, the effect would be greatly diminished if Yume ends up beating Hime tonight. Wouldn't put it past the stupidity of Stars writers though.
Reminds me of how it is impossible to take Lily seriously anymore considering she got blown the fuck out already by a first year. It'll be hilarious if they try to make her as the only one who can actually compete with Venus Ark or something like that.
Why can't you get over last week and explain yourselves today? What did I say just now: "So much as Lily had reason to win, so do Rola and Yume." Can you not respond to this one specific claim? It's not as if we don't have the same conversations over and over and over again in this thread. Though I guess If you want to keep bitching about dissenting opinions you can keep doing it, but I don't think that's productive for any of us.
>Am I not allowed to be upset or what?
That's exactly what I said, that I think you're letting feelings influence your better ability to reason. You can be angry or sad and still understand why something did or didn't go your way. It's how we can separate these things that makes us human, the most intelligent of animals.
Fine, I'll give you the reason I've stated multiple times. This is Lily's last chance, as opposed to both Yume and Rola who have one more chance. Both Lily and Yume's character arcs have been centered around their goal of S4, where as Rola's has not, and just for the record before you twist my words, I'm not saying that S4 is not a goal of Rola's, just that it has not been a focus of her character arc. However, when the show builds up to characters, in this case Lily and Yume, around their goal of becoming S4, and then the show also gives the both of them the chance to become S4, had Lily won this S4 selection and Yume won next years, most viewers would assume that's the direction they're going in.
Okay, thank you. It sounds like you wanted it to be "fair", as in you essentially wanted everyone to win (or just Lily and Yume, whatever), given enough time. But that's a viewer's perspective from a meta-standpoint, outside of the actual show. Nobody in the world itself would actually give that as a reason or excuse. Nobody would say "Yume, Rola, you did good, but this is Lily's last chance so she gets to win first". From down on the ground, you can only say that whoever worked the hardest, smartest, understands themself, and did the best on this one specific day deserves to win. If that means Rola being enlightened gave her the boost to beat Lily while she was still high on endorphins, then so be it.
But I'm not saying the viewer perspective is wrong or bad. I probably said it before, but it really was Lily's main goal to make it into S4 so that she could get her own brand. It was only due to Moroboshi's exception that she got it early, and only her own decision to not make a Premium rare dress before she was in S4. But just as easily as she changed her dream after getting Gothic Victoria, she can change it yet again. I've been avoiding next season spoilers, but isn't there a new queen competition or something? Maybe Lily can change her dream to win that and make a Premium dress. Or any other number of options that are still open to her. And even after she and Yuzu graduate, they're not going to quit. Lily's life isn't over just because of this; there's so much more to go. Remember that Ichigo lost to Mizuki, went abroad for a year, and only beat her when she was in high school, even though she was never Starlight Queen. If you imagine Lily like that, then this result isn't bad.
>Why can't you get over last week and explain yourselves today? What did I say just now: "So much as Lily had reason to win, so do Rola and Yume." Can you not respond to this one specific claim? It's not as if we don't have the same conversations over and over and over again in this thread.
We've explained ourselves plenty of times through the week and everything we said went through one of your ears and left immediately through the other.
>Though I guess If you want to keep bitching about dissenting opinions you can keep doing it, but I don't think that's productive for any of us.
Aren't you the one who feels the need to reply to every single post about that dares to disagree with what happened?
>That's exactly what I said, that I think you're letting feelings influence your better ability to reason
Except no. I may be angry and disappointed, but as I mentioned, I, and many others, have explained many times in a way we see logical why what happened last week was shit and we believe that Lily winning is a more logical result than Rola or Yume winning.
We clearly are never gonna reach and agreement on this matter so I'm not sure why you still bother trying to reply to us as I'm sure you'll also know you will never convince us, much less with the pedantic and holier than thou attitude you take regarding this matter and how you think of yourself as the only illuminated being on the topic and everyone else as having less comprehension than a first grader.
>Things making sense from a viewer meta-standpoint wouldn't make sense
>I've been avoiding next season spoilers, but isn't there a new queen competition or something?
Not that I know or remember. All we know is that Elsa comes in and all idols are mine specially Yume because she's the MC oh and Hime too I guess.
>Maybe Lily can change her dream to win that and make a Premium dress. Or any other number of options that are still open to her. And even after she and Yuzu graduate, they're not going to quit. Lily's life isn't over just because of this; there's so much more to go
That doesn't magically erase this loss or magically doesn't make it so that all the build-up for her during this season was thrown in the trash.
There's more in the future? They will do something else for Lily later? No shit. Doesn't make this any less disappointing.
>Remember that Ichigo lost to Mizuki, went abroad for a year, and only beat her when she was in high school, even though she was never Starlight Queen. If you imagine Lily like that, then this result isn't bad.
False equivalency. Ichigo was in her first year, Lily is in her second. Starlight Queen is nowhere near the same as S4 either. Just because they both are tip top competitions doesn't make them the same. And I guarantee you that had Ichigo beaten Mizuki in her first year everyone would have caused a massive shitstorm.
The problem is, a show should want to please its viewers not anger them, and its pretty clear you're in the minority as for people who were completely pleased with this turn of events.
>but it really was Lily's main goal to make it into S4 so that she could get her own brand.
We've been over this before, but that's wrong. It wasn't just about the brand, it was also about proving the people who said she couldn't do it wrong and about being S4 with Yuzu, the one girl who's always had her back since they were children. Also as far as I know, there's no new competition for S2, although if there is, you know sure as hell if Lily couldn't win S4 they wouldn't let her win that either. Also, in Ichigo's case she's had other things going for her in S1, not to mention OG was just less competition focused in general. Everything about Lily's character up to this point has been centered on her goal of S4.
>all the build-up for her during this season was thrown in the trash
Let me ask a different question then. What if Rola lost to Lily? What of her character and her buildup?
I just want to mention that I'm not saying it's the specific results that please me. I'm not saying I'm happy or disappointed. I'm only saying that the way it happened and was presented was good.
>What if Rola lost to Lily? What of her character and her buildup?
How many times do I have to say that S4 isn't want Rola's character arc is about, where as it's the focus of Lily's character arc?
>I'm only saying that the way it happened and was presented was good.
Well, clearly there are plenty of people who weren't pleased with that either. And either way, if the results ruin an otherwise good episode for a majority of your audience, I would say the show has failed to please the viewer.
Koharun looks kinda evil here.
What would cause the bigger shitstorm? Yume and Rola tying or Yume beating Hime? I think the smallest shitstorm would be Yume narrowly beating Rola before Hime domination since that's what everyone is expecting.
I'm going to be happy and cry when Yume wins and there's nothing you can do to stop me!
Though I still wish Lily would have won.
Yes, I know that specifically there was less said about S4 by Rola. I guess I wasn't clear enough. 1) Would it still be satisfying if Rola was enlightened but didn't beat Lily? And 2) What if Rola didn't get enlightened but just lost? Or 2b) She beat Lily anyway.
I would say 2b would be disappointing and bad, personally. 2a slightly less so, but also bad.
>What if Rola lost to Lily? What of her character and her buildup?
This also has been explained many times.
Rola and Lily have literally zero stakes together. Everything about Rola. What's been Rola's build-up? All the show tells you is Yume, Yume, Yume, Yume, Yume and more Yume just to make sure you got it was about Yume. To finally step aside from Yume's shadow, to start enjoying performing again without comparing herself to Yume, that she finally overcame Yume and became her own person doing her stuff for her own reasons, not with Yume somewhere there somehow.
How is she beating Lily and not Yume supposed to tell me? Yup, she totally got over Yume. Specially when the thing that gave her the power boost to beat Lily was, a Yume centered flashback. Even after she supposedly "got over it" Yume is still there right at the center. Rola is more Yume than Rola at this point.
And what happens next? Let's assume that Yume beats Rola tonight. How am I, as the viewer, supposed to believe that Rola finally managed to overcome Yume when Yume comes in and beats her again which has been the root-cause of Rola's issues through the whole season? No matter how much Rola then goes and says "It's okay if you won because I'm not doing it for you anymore omoshiroi janai" afterwards it'll feel fake and disingenuous. How can it feel like a victory when the same thing that caused the whole mess to happen in first place happens again except instead it is portrayed a positive thing now? And then, what was the purpose of making Lily lose if Rola was gonna lose again right afterwards? She lost for nothing then?
Rola's character arc this season has been clearly about finding herself. She obviously wants to become S4 too as much as everyone else but to say it has been the main focus of her arc this season is a straight-up lie.
>Let me ask a different question then. What if Rola lost to Lily? What of her character and her buildup?
Nothing would have changed because she herself said she found herself and doesn't care about the score. Which is gonna come into play anyway because she's a few hours away from being trashed by Yume for the third time.
>Would it still be satisfying if Rola was enlightened but didn't beat Lily?
Yes, I would have been quite happy with this. When I first saw her scene with Anna I thought they would use it as a chance to push her character in the right direction heading into S2. Of course, the other options you presented wouldn't be very pleasing either, but in regards to 2b, it would be far from the first time I've been disappointed by the direction they've taken Rola's character in.
Because I see Rola finding herself/disengaging from Yume as you say and her beating/losing to Yume as completely different things. They're not dependent on each other. She can find herself and lose to Yume with nothing incongruous about it.
It isn't Hime herself, it's what beating Hime signifies. It looks completely different if Yume beats Rola and Lily by 500+ points than if she narrowly beats Rola and Lily by 100 or less points.
I'm pretty sure the crux of the issue wouldn't be Hime losing but rather whoever ends up beating Hime.
Would you have thought "Yes, this makes sense" if Ichigo had beaten Mizuki at the end of S1? Or Akari beaten Ichigo at the end of S3? If the answer is no then you also believe that Yume beating Hime would be utterly nonsensical.
Heh, TAKE THAT YOU BITCH, FUCKING LOSER BITCH.
>How can it feel like a victory when the same thing that caused the whole mess to happen in first place happens again except instead it is portrayed a positive thing now?
Ask the Pokémon "writers".
Big friends didn't care all that much, they don't really watch the show for the story or the results and Rola is the second most popular character among them anyway.
Not nips, but I recently found youtube uploads of episodes with real non-nip little girls commenting and they are 0% mad about Lily losing. They really love Yume. They also really, really love Yume x Subaru. Not sure how much their opinions differ from nip girls.
That preview shot of Lily looking a bit dissatisfied is probably from Hime's performance. Lily won't feel too bad about narrowly losing to Yume and Laura but she will feel discouraged after Hime just completely crushes all of them. The typical "I never had a chance..." kind of feeling.
Is this the first time this little girl appears? Is she going to trigger Rola's S2 change into a cool oneechan type of character that can actually carry the Student Council despite Yuzu being Yuzu?
As expected from shipperfags. I bet they are tumblrinas too.
I liked Akari and Sena relationship because they just felt like bros sharing a dream. Never felt any sexual tension or shippingbait from them. Wish there were more things like that overall in the medium.
Akari and Sena might not have anything romantic yet, but they spend a lot of time together (and Akari gives him indirect kissu all the time). I think after Akari retires they'll end up together. On the other hand, Subaru's actually got funny feelings for Yume, which is more than they can say.
I don't have any problem with the resolution of Rola's character arc being "I don't care that much about winning anymore anyway" but the show wants to have its cake and eat it. It would have feel cooler if she literally didn't attend to the selection because she was too busy doing a special live with some rock band or recording her solo album or something like that.
>Rola feels insecure
>walks around and meets one of the Metal Dolls
>the latter reveals she knows her and that they've always wanted to perform with her
>offers her to do so on the spot
Fuck, that would've been cool.
They say that only winners are allowed to say they don't care about winning; if a loser said it, that would just make them sound salty. In that moment, Rola was a winner, so it was fine for her to say it. Whatever happens next, that much will always be true.
She would've said it anyway, but still.
>no longer cares about winning
>no longer cares about points
>does performances whilst lying down because she doesn't care
>just wears casual clothes for coords
Ingobernable Laura fucking when
Pretty much. Who would take anyone who says I don't care about winning I just want to have FUN seriously when all they do is lose? That's just scrub-talk. A excuse to make themselves feel better and a pitiful attempt to put down the importance of winning and what made the winners actually be winners. It's a coping mechanism so that they dont' feel obliged to confront themselves and their badness and why don't they win at all.
I like both.
It's happening. I trusted you /ai/
If it has purpose. Like how law is suppose to be mankind's guidance instead of being used weapon.
You need a mixture. Arguments are good, but when it's two guys going round in circles, you need the less serious posts and cute images or the thread starts too look too hostile.
Hime is the best thing since the Aikatsu system was created. Idol baby ain't gonna lose.
She was both the robbed, and the robber. Which is impressive.
How can I become this happy?
Do they even need to do one? everyone might still be around in Idol Time, just wrap around the story a little,
Faluluis now the leader and everyone is happy and not sad that Lala had to go somewhere else.
Idol Time litteraly means that.
Laala is gonna move but also travel in time, her pripara self being blocked in the original timeline, hence she doesn't transform. The only way to contact with her original timeline she will have is her smartphone. A good trick to make way for the new characters.
The anons who keep whining about people disagreeing about how the latest Stars episode was perfect and they just didn't understand it and that if they didn't like it they should fuck off from their threads.
You seem bothered about that link not being of YOUR particular interest and your solution for this is that now everyone should post context to save you time, instead of you finding a way to get around this.
Embedding tools? That's still the same thing in the end.
If you are gonna share something that you believe is of interest to people here I believe the appropriate thing to do is to provide context rather than just an unknown. Futhermore, it is as >>154910849 says here too.
I want ainon to sit on my face.
Yuu is such rude cunt. Ichigo's armpits smell like strawberries.
Koharu does smell.
Like a traitor.
Yo anyone wanna do 8 or 9? Uniforms are fun and you can even change the uniform colours.
Anon 6 please re take the picture it would help a ton.
For digitals, I'd say I'd reject colorings on par with the one square that got rejected and anon threw a fit over. Do you remember it?
For traditionals, I don't know what I'd reject but I guess you'd have to draw dicks over it or something to make me reject it.
Please give it a try, it shows when you really put an effort to things and don't troll like an asshole. I'm sure your contribution will be cute, and even if it doesn't come out as well as you'd like it, everyone has to start somewhere. Akari started at the bottom and one way or another became Starlight Queen.
>not buying a 1k double door fridge to pin all your colorings to
What are you doing with your life
God bless you. Noted down.
Yeah it looks awesome, organiser anon is the little girl-est.
Every day I try to be more little girl than the day before.
What a beautiful Maria.
I'll give square 9 a shot then I've got colored pencils somewhere...
Tsubasa was a very, very cute senpai in this episode
Ok here we go. I have high faith that you guys will get something done.
I promise to take a better picture of 1 this saturday.
I'm sure it tastes like dreams and cutely trying her best.
I can't find my Kokoro admin picture so have her being cute...she did better than no name admin that is something right?
>lucky train nono version
I need this shit.
5 cute facts about Kokoro:
- She's Utsukushigumi!
- She's was robbed!
- Yozora loves her!!!!!
