She was an unnecessary addition in the first place since Hiromi pretty much covers everything she has to offer minus the quirky gaijin stuff, not to mention that Hiromi's seiyuu is far better voicing these type of characters. Blondie pretty much watered down the entire group and I'm certain that we could've gotten the same overall improvement without a fifth member. And even if she was there from the beginning, both the club formation and cycling introduction arc took way too much time. If the show got better is mostly because it finally moved away from that and not because another girl was introduced. McDonald McBlonde was pretty cool during her introduction episode but she was just another member of the group after the author was done showcasing how much of a silly gaijin she is.

Freedom Boobs gave the show a nice breath of fresh air but saying that she's the sole reason why the show improved seems like a bit of a stretch.
