I think something with Keroro is possible. Sometimes they're included in random stuff like promo images or the upcoming card game packs due to being created by Mine Yoshizaki and so not needing special licenses for them.

GiTS is another matter though since it's a completely separate license.

Only in the game, which doesn't really help the point of whether those rules for Sandstar work in the anime.

However, even in the game, there are some issues. Cerval says they feel like her past self under the Queen, so they might be closer to Cerulians than to Friends even though they're friendly, which explains why they don't look as human as the actual Friends and weren't playable characters in the game.

My last post mentioned them being robots built for a movie... but I don't know why I was thinking that. Rewatching the final scene Mirai doesn't say anything about that. So, yeah, they're real, but they don't seem to be actual "Friends", which is why they aren't playable.

This also means that the stuff about some of the events being Serval's dream is irrelevant regarding this since the Beasts are definitely real.

I wonder, what would you like in a (likely) future new game?

If it was up to me, I think I'll start with something that can be cooked quickly and can grow endlessly.

So yeah, please forgive me but I think their best option is to go once again for a mobage, naturally a well made one. This mostly for those 2 important factors: it's far faster to make and keep afloat and it can keep pushing new content as long as the game stays relevant. Proper games can be made as spinoffs giving the IP a lot of freedom. For example, character centric games, genre games that won't work well with such IP, etc.

Naturally, it would have to be a good game and for the sake of the IP it would have to keep the pay2win mechanics to a reasonable minimum. Not easy tasks. I guess it can follow Kancolle's revenue model but that comes with its issues too.

Oh well, what would you like to see?

No one goes out to actively hate on another anime, they are critical about a work because they hold good intentions that surround wanting to make the piece better than what it already is. People take one look at Kemono Friends and view the animation as different from what they're used to, so they imagine it to be shit, since they were conditioned to view one as bad and one as good by their respective hivemind. While they do have good intentions at wishing to better the piece of work, they can not come to understand why the decision was made in the first place, and because of that, they come off as ignorant and spiteful to others who truly do understand the reason why. There are also going to always be prideful people in the world who will always believe that they know what's best for the entire human race, so it's just best to ignore them and let them fuck off by themselves.

A Gacha game with the combat closer to Granblue Fantasy (basically classic 2d FF) or Fire Emblem (move characters on grid).

Go with real sized art for the characters - although that would involve getting Yoshizaki Mine to redraw everything, but it'd be worth it.

Also, plan some kind of support system/romance from the start. It's obvious players would want it even if they don't want a male main character in the anime. So it shouldn't be a years late barebones feature like in the original Kemono Friends mobage.

If anything, this show is pretty much a huge healing spell being cast on the anime industry. Not only does it prove that western fans are a bunch of superficial faggots that don't deserve being pandered to at all, but it also clearly demonstrates that it's fine for shows to focus on fun instead of just looking pretty.
