The first thing I noticed about was the personality of every character was subtly exaggerated, if that makes any sense. Overall everybody's voices seemed louder as well in a bad way.
It kind of reminded me of Dokuro-Chan or Big O and their second seasons.

Although we all agree that there is enough quality material for more seasons, I think the main issue is money. I heard many times that it's quite expensive to make an anime (around 2 million dollars per season). Since the anime goal was about increasing the sales of the LNs (and it did) they have no reason to continue injecting money into the anime.

It was super rushed because all of it didn't fit in 20 minutes. I read it a long time ago so I dont remember with details but here are some differences:

-They spent time investigating who was behind the poison in the water
-They went back to Axel to report Hans in the guild using Darkness' authority
-Hans didn't try to chase Kazuma when he ran away because he felt pity at Kazuma being just a rookie adventurer
-Kazuma did not die, but instead he gave all his mana to Wiz and felt unconscious but not before telling everyone what to do in order to defeat Hans
-Aqua didn't deliver the final punch and the axis cultists were not there either
-They received a big bounty for defeating Hans
-At the end of the novel something fun happens
