For example, he only had one fight with Ange (when she insulted his parents, and even then it wasn't any longer than five minutes). Meanwhile at the very end of the series the main seven girls aren't even friends. They have their own cliques and are polite to each other given all the hardships they experienced together and that's the end of it.

I kinda agree that Tusk should have been elaborated better, but he already fucked too much by the romance episode which fucked up the whole second half production.

For example, and in my opinion it's the biggest one, the first half foreshadowed very hard how at the end Ange would be the one to decide if the world of mana gets destroyed or no. Meanwhile at the end Embryo was the one who endangered both worlds, freeing Ange from making such a hard decision. Same with Julio's death. That man was such a monster I'm pretty sure no one would have criticized Ange if she had iced him, but Sunrise decided to have Embryo do the deed.

She was maybe petty and jealous, but it was everybody else who betrayed her. It was Alektra who kept important stuff secret from her, because it was more convenient for her to use Ange. And It was Ange who is responsible for Salia switching sides in the first place, because she shot her down. It was Ange who betrayed her ally, and left her to die at the bottom of the sea. Don't kid yourself. You would turn on such 'allies' as well.

And her switching sides back to the good guys only because Alektra died, and Embryo went full retarded, was nothing that can be blame on her either.

I spend a decent amount of time thinking about what happens to the Normas now. Like how can they possibly lead normal lives after everything they've been through? That cafe Ange build better double as a PTSD support group.

What happens when/if the humans rebuild society? During the last episodes they genuinely believed the Normas were the ones who were trying to destroy the world, so will they try to take revenge on them?

I love how the final episode revealed that Salia, like Ange and Hilda, always had the potential to unlock a ragnamail's powers. She only had to mature as an individual to develop a will strong enough to put the machine under her control.
Basically Jill never needed Ange in the first place; she only needed the ring. Had Jill raised Salia properly instead of just using her while allowing her insecurities and her pathological need to please an autorithy figure to take root on her psyche, she would have had a Villkiss rider who would have teleported into Embryo's hideout and stabbed him in the face.

Probably Jill was such a cunt that she believed that only people of royal blood was worth of piloting Villkiss.
