Lady Caramel a.k.a Kakaturi reporting in
Leave pudding to me
>you will never get a "nursing handjob" off Nami
So obviously the plan is going to go wrong. That's plain as day.
Thing is, how can it go interestingly wrong? How can Oda avoid it simply going a little bit awry before totally smoothing out and resolving as planned? That'd be pretty dull.
Mildly short-ish finale to Thriller Bark.
Bring bandages and bloodpacks.
>nami and rest of the crew doesn't even care about Sanji when he's in person in Capone Bege house
Viewer requested a gif from last night, so here is one.
I still don't understand how the plan is going to work when they're up against a fucking Yonko, and there's still 2 sweet commanders in play. Thats like 2 Doflamingos and a Akainu.
Big Mom, Smoothie and Katakuri aren't just going to let the plan go through.
I think that's likely. I KNOW someone is going to die, but who?
It's how much dick they can
Who here has a One Piece role model that they visualise when they're scared or feeling tested? To give them courage and overcome stuff?
Call me a lame weeaboo piece of shit, but Luffy gives me courage, no joke.
She steals my heart every time she appears.
Truer words have never been spoken, Anon. Neo Nami a shit.
Not really. Ever since the timeskip, she's just kinda... there. She contributes to shocking a bunch of baddies but... that's about it. Her voice falls on the deaf ears of her crew every time she speaks.
>Ever since the timeskip, she's just kinda... there.
Yeah, she used to feel more vital. I guess one element is stuff lke how they spent 10 million years at Dressrosa where she wasn't even there, but if she had been there it wasn't like navigation was a thing for those 100ish issues.
Previously either they'd travel around often enough that her abilities were apparent or she'd be quite central to things in some way, like being ill at Drum Island or being abducted at TB, for example.
That is objectively grade-SSS+ bullshit.
Sakura had no fucking function at all other than to introduce a case of the not-gays into Naruto.
Nami is at the very least a vital member of the crew and is linked into some core themes like the fishmen and slavery. She also embodies (or used to) a core pirating thing - theft. Another One Piece thing is how the characters often grow through their use of tools or intellect rather than raw power level, and Nami very much embodies that, along with Usopp.
God damm i don't remember being this depressing
Sadness sadness, such a waste you are for humanity.
It'll fail miserably because it's way too complicated and Big Mom is too strong
But things are going to go to shit fast the moment Luffy bombs Big Mom, then once Capone and Caesar start slaughtering everyone they can and Sanji's family joins in, the whole thing place be a madhouse
who here has sucked a dick?
I'm doing a survey for Oda.
Leave Big Mom to me
>inb4 odacuck messes up his character
That's what I've been saying most chapters since the timeskip.
To be honest, I haven't even considered the Sanji family being relevant apart from watching others fight and say "Such power!" and stuff like that.
Now that you say it, it does make a lot of sense. He's kept their "power levels" quite neutral so far. Like they've screwed around but it's still plausible they have more in the tank than we know about so they could start fighting some big name enemies.
I thought this was a manga for children?
Just imagine if that was Nami instead of Robin.
L*N*cucks would scream "muh colorspread hint!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!"
>I'm more curious as to how Luffy is gonna crash the party
With no survivors. jk
Lafitte and Bonney take off their guest disguises and whisk an unconscious, infant therefore smaller Big Mom away to an undisclosed location.
>plan goes wrong
>the wedding will take the rest of the year to complete
Who will be the first to return to the main story?
Does anyone actually care about Orlumbus?
Orlumbus has most of the men, so he has to come back if there's going to be a war. I think that he could be pretty cool, but his purpose is to be support, and I think that he can be cool as just that. There's no need to focus on him too much.
Orlumbus is such a weird, convenient ally. I know One Piece is full of conveniences but Orlumbus was some random guy with a whip in the coliseum who wasn't even that strong and it's revealed that he has a ship that could fit a country and thousands under him that seem to freely sail the New World somehow.
Barto is the fan favorite, cabbage is oda's favorite, and Hajrudin has a really obvious role in the Elbaf arc, but in the last case Elbaf is probably the penultimate arc
There are four obvious places where it could go wrong
1: Luffy's entrance
2: Sanji removing Pudding's veil
3: The photo getting damaged
4: Mom opening the chest
The question is which one
>Elbaf is probably the penultimate arc
Maybe part of the penultimate saga, but everything surrounding Raftel, One Piece, Blackbeard, the Void Century and all that will be a huge saga, and I don't see Elbaf being part of that with how many connections to early One Piece it has.
The last saga will be too cluttered to involve Elbaf, which would necessarily bring Buggy and Big Mom to the spotlight, plotlines that should mostly be dealt with for the final stretch.
penultimate, not ultimate. It's the second-to-last arc
probably, but how is the question.
Only two of these elements seem to fit together in some way, but I don't see how.
Sanji lifts pudding's veil, he actually is stunned by her beauty, Luffy has a dynamic entry crashing into one of them... Then what?
Pudding's candy-coated bullet is another issue. How does it fit in? I assume big mom will get shot with it, but where does that fit in?
Also, the chest blowing up isn't going to injure big mom, and she won't open it up if she's screaming, so I figure it has to be opened by someone else, but who? Would pudding, nijie or yonji try to grab the energy steroids?
I can't see how this is going to come together and it frustrates the shit out of me
I've gotten used to the idea of the Fleet, but when I think about it, it's such an interesting part of the manga since the timeskip.
It doesn't feel as big because it's had no direct repercussions, those characters still feel like the chumps from Dressrosa, and the focus changed with more arcs like the rest before Dressrosa. But these seven captains plus the other characters that joined their crews are going to have roles in future arcs, Oda is seriously building up a huge war that will top Marineford.
In Marineford we saw a great amount of characters with no introduction and how they fought, but we barely saw them and we barely knew them, so they mostly felt like filler to make the war bigger. When Luffy gets into a war with the fleet, those characters will be ones we already know, and that's the whole point of it. The fleet will only get bigger, and I'm thinking that they won't be coming to Wano.
>penultimate, not ultimate. It's the second-to-last arc
Arc and saga aren't the same. All those things I listed won't be resolved in one arc, unless it's a 300 chapter arc. Elbaf will happen before the final stretch, and that final stretch will consist of several arcs in different islands.
Did Oda mention that we're currently almost to One Piece or to the end of the manga?
Oda should go all out of that arc. Once One Piece is found, all restrictions for how the series moves are gone, this could involve big changes to the world and an arc spanning several islands, even revisiting past locations.
Removing the need to advance in one direction should make those last arcs very different from what we've seen.
Definitely not happening. A lot of hyped plotlines have been advancing recently, but you'd need several Dressrosa-sized arcs to finish everything so fast. Not to mention it'd feel rushed, the manga needs smaller arcs inbetween to mantain the sense of scale.
Luffy's entrance is going to involve blowing up the chest and ruining the wedding cake, the moment that happens he's going to laugh in Big Mom's face as she sits there fuming
Capone will then destroy the picture and use his RPG/WMD knockoffs on Big Mom, but it'll only knock her out, then we'll see Oda's version of the Red Wedding, except this time the groom and his friends will be massacring members of the brides family
>Big Mom is about to die
Fuck no, Big Mom will die in a grand war with Kaido over Poseidon, Strawhats will take down the victor
Then Blackbeard will kill Shanks and become the defacto King of the Pirates until Luffy defeats him
Okay, different path, same time frame. Just look at how Zou and WCI have been handled. Real time fast paced plot progression that quickly explains what it needs via brief flashbacks.
Are you serious with this? Dressrosa had:
>Half the SHs
>the Corrida fighters (now the Fleet)
>Sabo and some revs
>Fujitora and some marines
>a small glimpse of CP0
When you take into account that most Supernovae haven't really participated in a full arc, and based on how the story is moving they probably will, this adds several plotlines for future arcs. The Fleet exists for a reason, and they'll come back in the future, making an arc that will probably already be huge even bigger.
The revolutionaries haven't done much, they'll get some participation in the future. Blackbeard too, he'll most likely be ubiquituous by having his crewmates all over the place, his build up wouldn't work on two arcs. Marines get involved in a lot of arcs, but they are mostly small groups, there's a lot of Marines that haven't done anything of note, we don't even know one of the Admirals, and I doubt Sengoku and Garp won't do anything in the future. Smoker and Coby have ongoing plotlines too.
Lucci and Kaku are back for CP0, this means CP0 has a role to play in the future instead of being just a plot device. Then there's all the pirate crews in the New World and all the locals from the islands that the arcs will take place in. Add Vegapunk, Weevil, Mihawk, the remaining Ancient Weapons, Enel coming back, and probably stuff I'm forgetting about, and the whole crew being together, and you can see how two arcs definitely won't cut it.
Zou didn't solve anything as an arc though, it's only there to connect Dressrosa to Wano and WCI.
WCI has been only a bit faster than the rest of the arcs, but the arc is nearing 40 chapters and the wedding hasn't even started. We are about to get more characters involved, and more fights which are what slows down the story, so far the plot moved mostly smoothly because besides Luffy vs Cracker and the army fight there were only small clashes and spars.
I'm still convinced that Big Mom won't go down this arc. Luffy allying with two villanous types makes it easier for him to lose, and losing would also be a more powerful moment for the story. Entering the New World and winning over everyone just as they meet them would lessen the entire story. Losing and rematching helps the story as a whole and connects more storylines between each other.
Convenient in a sense that it meant Luffy gained a fleet of several thousand with numerous ships on top of all the individual leaders over some sake because of this one random guy
You are acting like characters and their plotlines are one offs. Did you think Law would only be relevant for Punk Hazard? Caesar too? The Corrida Fighters? You should realize by this point that Oda doesn't throw away his characters, even if a lot of the supernova will participate in Wano this doesn't mean that they'll stop participating in the story after this, if anything they should become bigger once there are fewer Yonkou.
>enel coming back
There is literally nothing to hint at this ever happening.
There's nothing direct, but his cover story was plot heavy with a lot of unique points that could be important. There's also the fact that most big villains come back and how the sky islands seem to have very important lore information.
You said that Kaidou's arc would be "handling" half the Supernova like they were going to be gone from the manga after that. I'm having trouble understanding what point you are trying to make.
Not to mention:
>The soon-to-be Reverie
>The Wano Kingdom
>The remaining Poneglyphs that need to be documented by Robin to fill in the 100 Year Gap
>The "Destruction of Fishman Island" that still hasn't happened... yet.
>And the mystery of the One Piece itself that we have literately no clue what purpose it serves or how it could make someone the Pirate King on its own
We're nearing Raftel and/or the exit to the Grand Line and there's STILL so much that needs to be resolved and GOD KNOWS how long all that will take before we even see a hint of these story arcs being revisited.
One Piece 2?
Luffy will break out the cake and destroy the picture along with the frame. That will make big mom the angriest she's ever been. Many will die. Will go down as the greatest upset to ever happen to a Yonko.
Luffy will either lose or fight Blackbeard to a draw at Raftel, but BB will get betrayed by one of his shitbird crewmates and fatally wounded.
Luffy & co will sweep the rest. Blackbeard gives him a toast to show no hard feelings and dies drinking rum and laughing.
$5 says Sanji awakens some bullshit hidden Germa strength and the theory about the candy bullets only working on Renju is very plausible because she wasn't as perfected as the other 4.
You are mixing plot points with characters. Characters and their plotlines aren't resolved in one arc, which is why I brought up Law and Caesar. They don't precisely slow down the story, but they are the story, and you can only focus on so many characters at once.
something looks so wrong with carrot in that gif but I can't put my finger on it. Is it the mouth? The skirt, or how giant her hand is in the moments before she salutes
The candy bullet isn't going in reiju. It's probably going in Mom, but Judge and Reiju are obviously also possibilities. It's definitely not going in Sanji or Pudding otherwise what's the point of it being candy-jacketed
I would actually like this. Blackbeard is the only character to stick to the true savage pirate ways. He is the top contender for King. He'll probably die an explosive death warning Luffy about what being King is supposed to be about. How good and evil will always exist and it's his job now to make sure there is always a balance. That or they'll have sex. One of the two.
You still don't get it. Wano will involve them, that only makes Wano bigger and says nothing about the future of the series once the arc ends.
What I'm trying to say is that a character being involved in one arc doesn't mean that the character is crossed off on some list Oda has, that once everything is crossed off the series will end. The plotlines have proved to be dynamic and especially since the time skip they interconnect and last more than one arc.
You are either trolling or retarded.
I'm arguing the complete opposite than you just said. I don't think he ISN'T going to bring them out before the series ends, I'm saying that having them in the plot doesn't mean that their plotlines are dealt with and we are about to end. Why do you think I brought up Caesar? He's the perfect example of how characters are more than just plot devices in an arc, the supernova are the main characters of the story, they aren't going to appear in one arc and that's it. I'd even go as far as to say that after the Yonkou Saga we'll enter the Supernova Saga.
It's pretty obvious how it works. Gear 2 uses his body's tensile strength to pump his blood faster, which also heats up his body. Using haki with it lets him pump his blood even faster, heating him up enough to produce flames
I literally made a theory about this yesterday on leddit
No way. Oda will incorporate them into essential parts of the plot that move the story forward. They are on a list that indicates nearing the end of the series. Bonney and Urouge will be last and cover much of the overarching lore of the series.
>Oda will incorporate them into essential parts of the plot that move the story forward
That's my entire point. They won't be essential if they end up being one off characters in one big arc. Which is why the story won't end in few arcs.
Brooke is a based character fleshed out and he won't be killed before journey's end. If it's true Oda will kill a nakama, it won't be him.
>Caesar, who isn't slowing the story down
What does "slowing the story down" mean for you? Caesar is actively participating in this arc. Sure, he hasn't been a big part of it in terms of screen time, but he's been essential to the plot and is clearly building up to the future.
I'm tired of going in circles, see you in a few years when you realize how wrong you were.
If drinking milk causes your tooth to grow back, that implies the nerve was healed and reattached. So drinking milk to fix your leg would cause the bones to burst out of the healed wound along with your now exposed nervous system.
He can never drink milk again.
I have followed the One Piece manga extensively, but other than the movies have never actually watched any of the anime. I had some free time recently and decided why the hell not and started from the beginning. I've just reached Arlong Park and have been enjoying it well enough, but when does this supposedly go all to hell.
First you say because these characters are essential, the story won't end in a few arcs. I provided an example where that is not the case. I'm not sure why consolidating several plot points in a few arcs is just difficult concept to grasp but I'm sorry.
I still think Sanji is gonna die this arc. Usopp in the last arc. Any SH dying would seem crazy though. Especially considering the merchandising lost from killing off a character.
There's really nothing wrong with it.
Heres what i think would be a good plot: all is going to go according to plan except sanji gets shot and BM doesnt die from poison, at that time germa makes their move but also dont kill her, when retreating, jinbe stays behind and assures their escape only to die doing so
Also i bet luffy is going to invent a new attack for the sake of making his entrance which will be a copy of another characters attack. What are the enemies he's seen this arc?
>The candy bullet isn't going in reiju. It's probably going in Mom, but Judge and Reiju are obviously also possibilities. It's definitely not going in Sanji or Pudding otherwise what's the point of it being candy-jacketed
they're going to gun down the whole Germa family with candy-jacket bullets, that's the whole fucking plan Mom has, kill them and take their shit.
Why am I slowly starting to like Carrot and think she's cute...
How will Oda feel when One Piece ends?
Personally, I can't wait for Gear 4 : King Crab
>tfw just realised Reiju has anti poison powers
>the shot is going to miss Big Mom and hit an ally
Because she's a big dork and an innocent soul who wants to see the world for the first time.
I put it down for like a year during Fishman Island from burnout and dislike of the arc back in the day. If there was ever a significant quality drop that the series never recovered from I'd probably lose interest and stop reading. I've been following the series pretty avidly since 2004 but I'm not going to force myself to read something that's turned to shit.
Luckily that hasn't happened. I'm apparently one of the few people who thought Punk Hazard was decent, as was Dressrosa even though its second half seriously dragged. Zou and Whole Cake Island have been excellent so far as well, with the latter potentially being one of my favorites depending on how it ends.
Right now, dials, introducing obs Haki, showing part of the world we hadn't seen at that point as well as a new (sort of) race. Bit of Merry development and foreshadowing for Water 7.
In future I hope Enel comes back just to give the arc a bit more weight in the overarching plot.
It set up the Merry damages and the existence of her Klabaurtermann, leading into Water 7.
Worldbuilding. The existence of sky islands, dials, new races, mantra, Norland, etc. The moon shit from Enel's cover story is likely tied to the void century, and Enel's bound to reappear at some point too.
It's Robin's arc, which people seem to miss. We knew fucking nothing about her when she initially joined at the end of Alabasta. Skypeia shows her getting acquainted in the crew, learning to love their sense of adventure, properly introduces the poneglyphs and their role in the overarching narrative, it's where she reveals and rediscovers her dream, etc. It's no coincidence that the first major island they go to is one full of ancient ruins and cultures where her archaeological skills are extremely useful. Water 7 would have had no weight we skipped Skypeia and went straight into her betrayal.
Jaya is like, one of the most important arcs in the series as well. I don't think anyones willing to argue that, especially with stuff like Teach's introduction being tied to the Sky Island plotline. The whole concept of chasing seemingly impossible dreams is used multiple times in reference to not only Sky Island, but the One Piece as well.
>what was the point of Skypiea?
Adventure. Establishing ancient weapons. Establishing the mechanical moon orbiting the planet. Revealing ancient history. Revealing ancient tech. Letting Robin have an archaology adventure with the straw hat crew. Zoro learning the technique that worked against an admiral first try. Escaping certain death at the hands of Blackbeard.
Mainly though the point was ringing that golden bell for Luffy's homies, faggot.
>not an L
I thought it was confirmed Coby was younger than Luffy, but maybe it's not. And actually he fought Coby twice, but smashed him both times. The second time definitely counted as serious though.
>he fought Coby twice
Yes, I know, but the first one was more of a sparring than anything else. If you're really willing to, you might even count one more (Morgan arc), but only Coby was serious there.
>I thought it was confirmed Coby was younger than Luffy
His age was never brought up anywhere. Which is pretty strange actually.
What's the mood on Coby? Who thinks he will be strong by EoS? I bet he's already tough as nails after the 2 year time skip. Stronger than Lucci, stronger than moriah, he'd trounce Hody np.
Look at the facts here.
>scars indicate great loss and significant growth afterwards
>badges indicate status
>floral patterns ALWAYS represent insane strength
Compare him to Akainu here and its easy to gauge Cobys strength.
Considering how rare it is that Luffy will have an unlimited supply of food before his enemy and a partner with rain powers to cover his back while he feasts, that's hardly a remedy.
>Yfw no chapter for 11 days
Judge will order Reiju to remove the poison from big mom.
Remember Reiju cannot disobey an order from Judge so she will do it and ruin the plan
Judge will remain irredeemable
OR before she will do it, Ichiji will kill Judge to prevent the order
Stronger than pre-TS Lucci, maybe but he will never catch up to Luffy and Zoro. He'll obviously be an Admiral at the end of the series but I repeat. He will never catch up to the duo. It'll never be an even match.
Look how strong he got after luffy stood up and protected him from alvida. The same thing happened at Marineford just with Shanks and Akainu. If he could be inspired by Chapter 1 luffy, think about what marineford mustve done for him. Also I think Coby left marineford thinking how much stronger he needed to get. I at least want him to have one match with Luffy where Luffy cant beat him.
This guy would be better Garp for Luffy than Coby or Smoker.
Fuck, I kinda want a spin-off where Luffy dies and Zoro tries to become the Pirate King in his stead
He's got decent will, that's all he's shown so far. He can stand up to people. That's great and all but that doesn't mean much in a fight. The only way Luffy loses against Coby is if he literally does not fight. Obviously this is just how I feel. Anything can happen at the end of the day.
god i really hate him since marineford, akainu should have deleted him
"pls stop killing the pirates so they can flee and enter the new world where the marine is then gonna need to fight them anyways"
someone explain how that makes sense so i can stop hating coby
Look under his bandana, Coby has a scar on his forehead from pic related
Ignoring the fact that he had the scar from before Marineford, before Water 7, how the fuck do you look at a punch to the centre of the face, to the nose, and think he got a scar on his temple? What the fuck?
I fucking hate that little shit. Fuck Oda for trying to force him down my throat. Hes a weak little shit and he should stay that way. If he becomes Admiral/Fleet Admiral it will seriously rustle my jimmies.
Bingo. I'm in it for the long haul at this point.
I didn't even drop Naruto eventhough I hated that shit past Jiraiya's death (or around that time). I won't drop One PIece.
I dropped Bleach though...
I liked her a lot pre-timeskip. She was the only character I prefered with short hair. I liked them all a lot, but I hardly recognize them anymore. Now all I see is their powers.
That wouldn't really do much though, as absolutely no one in the room would recognize that relationship.
Luffy's mom if alive will appear in some other arc, and if she's dead she'll be in the inevitable Dragon flashback. Maybe she was killed by the WG/ Nobles?
>spend 15 forbidden tomes on Luffy
>NONE are slot rate boost
Nami is canonicaly confirmed to give her clothes away to the Mink women. She gave Wanda her bikini top.
I think it's neat the filler took this into consideration and gave Carrot Nami's old skirt
Best things about One Piece in descending order
>the huge tits
>surprisingly cute lolis
>the location design
i wish they'd just do comfy fillers again like the one where sanji helps a young marine to cook or when usopp helped a girl to set up fire works.
And back then it would've actually been easier to create believable enemies for the straw hats.
Well i'm a fan of LedZepp and Frank Zappa so i at least dig the names...
Do you have those fantasties that if you can't cum, they're like magic bullets that can practically guarantee it? Like I have one where I'm babysitting an XX-year-old girl I know and we have a bath together.
Another one of mine that's really effective is sharing a room on the Sunny with a drunk Nami and Robin. Generic as fuck, I know, but it's quite flexible in how it builds up. I think the "if this was real and I was on that boat" angle works really well for fantasies. Better than other comparable series, anyway.
But how did they find it? When you're in Paradise the log literally points to it, but in the NW firstly the normal logs don't work and then they're pointing forwards, not back to FI. This applies to normal sailing too, you can't go backwards in the GL with a log because you have no needle guiding you since they only go forwards.
So you are saying BB had a Jaya Eternal pose or something? But Ace only wanted to find him, he didn't have a destination, so again the same thing. And this doesn't solve the matter of finding FI from the NW.
I'm absolutely sure Whitebeard had few eternal poses/vivre cards pointing to islands under his protection which includes FI, it's just the matter of stealing them.
And honestly, even if it wasn't the case, just going the random direction and letting destiny decide would be just like Teach.
he could have also had one of those bird from jaya that always look in one direction. The reason you can't use a compass in the grand line is because of the weird magnetic field around it (which makes me wonder how fucked up the astronomic situation is)
Ivankov hinted that s/he knows something embarasing about Croco's past. People assumed that it could be linked to Iva's powers, thus Croco-boy used to be Croco-chan. To know Iva in past would mean having connection to Dragon. Dragon is Luffy's father. Of course there is no reason for Luffy's mother ever to be known but it is amusing idea for him been his mother considering their past. Very dramatic.
Was Luffy stronger than these guys pre-timeskip or only post?
It just bothers me that Croco would easily have no qualms with killing his/her own son even if he was interfering with the plan to take Pluton. Could someone who managed to get Monkey D. Dragon's dick proceed to become so salty for whatever reason involving Whitebeard that they'd have no problem killing their child?
I wouldn't it be surprised if it's the bloke on the right hand side that's actually his mother (ivanakov turned her into a male to protect her identity).
It's such an Oda thing to do.
Thats Ivankov pre hormone fruit is it not?
Thats Ms doublefingers mom.
Are you niggers literally retarded? Those guys should at the very least be able to keep up with Vergo, how in the fuck would you say that pre-ts Luffy could beat them,it took the entire strarhat crew to beat a single pacifista back then and now sanji can casually one shot one.You retarded fuckers can't seem to comprehend howmuch stronger Luffy has gotten in these 2 years.
>it's unlikely they're any stronger than Lucci,
Why? They're masters of rokushiki + they have 2/3 forms of haki. Not to mention that Onigumo was fast enough to throw on a pair of seastone shackles on Marco before he noticed.
Momonga literally cut a massive seaking in his first appearance.
Crying about things is the opposite behavior of people who have depression.
Depression = can't feel strong emotions no matter how hard you try. It's not equivalent with being sad.
>Kills one sea monster
He must be stronger than Luffy
They use Blades Luffy would know not to get cut by them anyway. You are telling me one of those VAs could solo Crocodile? Who is a master of controlling his logia so he can even dodge haki attacks like Aokiji.
I'd drop it if it was desu.
Wew chill. And
>Those guys should at the very least be able to keep up with Vergo
Not at all. Garps an vice-admiral and he blows them all out of the water. This isn't DBZ.
He got nearly killed twice and survived out of luck.
Not to mention Crocodile got much stronger since then (shrugged off a a charge from Jozu, went toe to toe with Doffy/Mihawk)
The only reason Luffy lived through this one was because he's immune to his powers. Cmon mate.
Doffy's attack didn't have haki. Alternatively, Oda had no fucking clue what he was doing with haki and stuff until the timeskip so he was arbitrary with it. Nothing pictured in the war trumps the volumes of Croc fighting Luffy we already saw at Alabasta. It's stronger evidence.
Sanji one shotted a character stronger than pre-TS Luffy while Vergo broke Sanji's leg,any character that has haki and can hold his own against any of the post-ts monster trio for any amount of time is out of pre-ts Luffy's reach.
The only VA i could see pre-ts Luffy beating is Maynard, but even that is stretching it.These guys are all supposed to be the strongest fightersin the marines outside of the admirals,in a war against the Yonko these guys would be matche dup against their mid level commanders.
I mean Smoker was pictured as being on par with Ace back in Alabasta. And it stands to reason that Smoker wouldn't be way above the average for VAs, hell he was slightly weaker than Vergo if anything.
But it's true that the VAs at Ennies Lobby talked about Lucci as if he was stronger. The simplest explanation is that Oda is inconsistent with power levels, especially when you compare pre-haki and post-haki One Piece.
Not to dispute that they were probably stronger than Luffy (though that begs the question why they sat on their ass during the Buster Call) but one actually does hit Luffy in the war and he doesn't go down
Not every Vice Admiral is on par with each other so this whole conversation is fruitless.
Luffy could surely have taken on guys like Very Good and Shu. There's no fucking way he could handle the likes of Garp or Vergo.
Momonga is the hardest nigga there is
They didn't know much he had weakened.
From using common sense and piecing everything in the story together, it seems crocodile dreamed of being the pirate king when he was young. That's where he got his fame from.
Then he got over confident, charged a younger whitebeard and got his hand cut off and his face slashed open. That's when he retreated back into paradise where he was still a big fish i.e the safer sea
If you noticed the same thing happened to Moria. Both of them got wrecked and stopped believing in their own strength and wanted to make super weapons. The government also didn't know how much Moria has deteriorated since his peak.
Did Oda ever explain Hancock's fruit? At first it seemed like a "love" something fruit with the beams and shit but then in the war she was stone-kicking Pacifistas, so it could be a stone fruit that she just pretends is about love beams.
>Not at all. Garps an vice-admiral and he blows them all out of the water. This isn't DBZ.
Garps, refused countless promotions,he's the fucking outlier, All VAs are required to have haki, that at the very least should tell us that there are some strength requirements to be one and i just can't see even the weaker VAs losing to a Pacifista.
Not to mention that Onigumo managed to catch Marco off guard and handcuff him, that's still really impressive desu i would be surprised if Doberman and Onigumo won't turn out stronger than Vergo.
I always felt it was more realistic. How do you stay pale in the summer?
Remember how brown Robin was when she first appeared?
Lets not forget Garp got cut down by Morgan. I don't give a fuck if he was sleeping. That was a gnarly ass cut across his chest. That nigga is old and I haven't seen him not job yet in the series.
I honestly care more about Helmeppo vs his dad than anything revolving around Coby.
Don't even want him to arrest Alvida since she's with Buggy and single handedly stopping the sausage circus.
Didn't he just stay inside all the time
No he had to make regular public appearances to get into the people's good books.
Remember he didn't want to be a tyrant. He wanted to be king.
If they were all that how come every time they've appeared they were disregarded as minor threats by basically everyone. They got hardly any play in Marineford, did jack shit during the Buster Call, and at Dressrossa the Shark Sword guy was literally a coms jockey.
If post timeskip Luffy and Zoro can freely tangle with Admirals. Preskip had to be at least VA tier.
also as it has already been said multiple times, not all VAs are equal in strength. but i'm fairly sure that nobody with COA could ever lose to preskip strawhats. fucking sentoumaru was impossible for luffy to even hit and he wasn't even a recognized soldier.
Didn't Sentomaru work directly for Vegapunk? Pretty sure that puts him above a VA. I really don't see where them having haki makes a difference against Luffy when his rubber doesn't protect him from swords anyway.
Its no more lethal to him than finger bullet already is and he still beat Lucci
>Pretty sure that puts him above a VA
well if you keep making shit up then you can claim anything.
it makes a difference because it means their strength is superior, how is this hard to understand. not to mention the fact that their attacks would actually hurt luffy instead of him tanking non-stop because of his body. let alone the other two. and that's also without mentioning coo, which let even enel outfight luffy.
>against Luffy when his rubber doesn't protect him from swords anyway.
>He thinks the minor VAs are anywhere near Enel in combat ability even with no lightning
Wasn't that before Luffy got right back up and ran past Momonga like he didn't even do anything?
>nobody with COA could ever lose to preskip strawhats
Marigold and Sandersonia had it, yet Luffy was dominating in the fight.
>well if you keep making shit up then you can claim anything.
Not him, but you just basically claimed that Sentomaru not being a marine soldier means he's weak compared to VAs which is assumption on much worse level.
I'm usually not the one for power level debates, but what you're writing is absolutely retarded.
>Wasn't that before Luffy got right back up and ran past Momonga like he didn't even do anything?
Nope. He got finger fucked by Dalmatian straight after. Ivankov had to to inject his hormones in him to save him.
>Marigold and Sandersonia had it, yet Luffy was dominating in the fight.
But the thing is they weren't fast enough. Momonga knew soru and fought toe to toe against the whitebeard commanders.
>Luffy doesn't hear the gunshot
>Everything goes to complete shit
>Everyone held down and detained so Mama can enjoy the wedding
>She opens the box
>Luffy takes that as the gunshot and entires
>Dressed full Gol D Roger style as he bursts onto the scene.
Cap it. I guarantee it goes down like this.
So whats going to be lord Potato Sracths power going to be? Is it going to foxy with an improved nero nero?
