Yknow, I really thought I could handle nobody having faith in Deku. Bakugou, Aizawa, Gran Torino...I could handle them not believing in the kid to have what it takes. But this? This crosses the line.

They use kare and kanojo (he and she, respectively) as those because of foreign texts, but it's pretty rare to hear those used in spoken conversation (especially since they can also be used to mean boyfriend and girlfriend, respectively).

Instead they use things like "that person", the person's name/title, or just forgo the use of any indicator entirely and let context do the work for them. It's a nightmare for babby-tier translators

As for my theory: it's nothing as brilliant as the KAYANO TWEEST or even your theory. It's merely a character being not (entirely) what they seem, which could have some tasty ties with the lore. It's also something so obvious that Hori might as well be smacking us over the head with it. So it won't be something that changes our perception of the manga as we know it. The only reason I'm being so cagey with WHO that person is is that I'm a turbo autist and wanna be the Cool Guy who points it out. The clues are so easy to sniff out that you guys would have it figured out in a heartbeat if I told you.

Well, I can see Ochako getting OfA as a very nice plot twist. If Hori liked Naruto and Bleach, it would make sense.
What I find weird is everything about Twice (it's unrelated to OfA and AfO). Hori said that he will never going to do a daily life of a villain because they are bad, he doesn't want to people to empathize with them and he likes them to keep in that way. Yet, we have an entire chapter about Twice and his troubled daily life. About how he's trying to be normal, despite his crazy (not evil) split personality. Even so, he's been never showing doing anything absolutely bad like murdering or stealing or even attacking anybody, just helping the villains with clones of them and gathering people.
Other thing is that in the first page of his chapter, there's a guy in a suit standing in front of his apartment with his back over the reader, who strangely has a very similar haircut and bodybuild to Twice. Maybe actually Twice is beign used by an unknown hero/villain/company worker/CEO to get information about the League of Villains. Or maybe he will turn into an hero (replacing whoever in both Class 1A or 1B becomes a villain) or become an anti-hero, helping sometimes the good guys and other times the bad guys
