You know, if they're just gonna go ahead and do whatever the fuck they want, they should have spent less time on the endless Alisha/Rose character development.

There's so much of them that I feel like we didn't see anything of Sorey and the seraphs. Plus it feels weird just having the fox dude whose name I forgot suddenly decide to be a good guy and Symmone just said "fuck this" and turned into a dragon within 15 seconds.

Don't get me wrong, it's great that Alisha can armatize, which fits in with Berseria's lore of "pretty much any fuck head can armatize if they try hard enough" but it really feels like we're missing something with the anime, and I'm not entirely sure what it is. Also did they ever go through the shrines in the anime?

The reason why there are shit tier excorcists is simple their resonance wasn't very high prior to becoming an exorcist, people whose resonance was already high to begin with ended up more powerful with Innominant's resonance boost, but people who weren't were shit tier.

For full context: the current arc is about a crystallization phenomenon that's freezing everything in solid mana. Several other characters were crystallized, but they were all relevant to the plot: Richard getting crystallized let everyone know the phenomenon was a threat to people, Claire getting frozen gave Veigue a motive to join the party, Milla getting frozen gave Elize development to stop relying on her. But after Lailah teaches Sorey and Mikleo to Armatize, she gets frozen and their only reaction is "oh no another friend of ours is frozen, we have to stop this" and they move on. It felt like the writer was done with her and wanted her gone because we already have 8 other party members.

I'm not arguing whether Alisha is or isn't important (if anything I'd say she's not), but it would be very awkward for the writer just to bring her up without any reason.
Asteria's been running for 3 years and already has established a lore with 4 countries and introduced governing parties for each. There's no room to be introducing another princess, especially since they already have Estelle to play the peace princess.

I don't know what your point is, but I'm completely up to date on Rays. There's only 6 chapters out.
Yuri's chapter was the first one and was just an introduction to what Ix and Mileena needed to do and Yuri helped them. Every other chapter so far has been tales characters mentoring Ix on what it takes to save the world using their own experience from their games.

Was also the most-returned game of the year, possibly ever. Bamco made profit from it but brand rep tanked hard, hurting future sales from the Tales series. All those returns mean the vendors who sold them had to give people their money back too, so they lost as well. Losing vendor good-will is really bad.

Waifu shit aside the game was just disappointing in all aspects except the OST. So yes, it did make money in the short term. In the long-term, it's a blemish and the muted response to Berseria is a symptom of it.
