Why do anime characters never curse?

They all do
source: Commie subs
what is even the japanese equivalent of "fuck you"?
>kono yaro
>kisama...
>shine, baka
>anta, ahou-ka?
None of these register as insults in English

They prefer to say KISAMA and YAROU instead
They have to put 25 cents in the swear jar and sit in time out every time, and some of us just don't have that many quarters to spare.

Also I guess they don't have many insults outside of shit and stereotype slur according to social classes, I remember hearing they have loads of hand gestures to insult poor people in the feudal era and that they persist to this day.

I thoroughly enjoyed this post.

That's because japs swear through tone or small syllables that don't add inherent meaning to the end of a phrase. How polite or how vulgar you are depends entirely on how you articulate.
>>154528694
They don't have any "real" curse words.
>>154528881
did you just make that up
>>154528694
curse words are a meme made up by jews
a word cant be bad
>>154528924
No.
>>154528694
There's few words they'd consider right out offensive. It's more about who says it and how.
"fuzakenai" said by a girl would mean something like "don't joke around".
"fuzakenna" (mispronuncing the "nai" as "nna") said by a yakuza could be translated as "stop fucking bullshitting".

>マンコ
>クソ
>ばか野郎
they do
Chome chome
>>154528694
Grom what I have heard japs don't havr curse words they only speak impolite.
From what little I know the emphasis on a word can turn it into something resembling a curse word
Like you hear a casual "kuso" thrown out a lot by all kinds of characters in non-adult series but when it's said harshly and with emphasis it's quite vulgar

Japanese doesn't have 'forbidden' words like English does, they just have rude words.
