is the anime coming back or was it just a ruse?
when the anime comes back, I'll have an excuse to post more ichiruki
>mfw ichi wins the ruki bowl in the anime
does anybody know the number of the episode
that recaps pretty much the first season of bleach?
I can't seem to find it for some reason. pls help.
if the anime does come back then i hope it follows the manga and gives us the canon ichihime/renruki end just so i can get even more assblast
Why do you even want this anime back?
Bleach's pacing in the Quincy invasion/Soul king arc is terrible with the ending being fucking terrible.
Jail, Yourself, Zombie, and Almighty (vs Ichibe) are the only good fights in this whole arc. anything else worth mentioning in this whole arc are just reveals, that's it.
It's a mess of a story because there are far too many characters to try and cover.
What is the point of watching it all over again? Do you just want to be let down by the many dropped plot points, shitty twists and Chekhov's gun violations all over again?
Part 15 of the novel. Really nice and cute chapter.
Renruki was so obvious. It's just that you didn't want to see it.
As for Rukia telling Orihime first, it's honestly a girl thing. Even Orihime asks if it's okay to tell her first and Rukia answers this with the whole "best girlfriend" line.
>walking pair of tits
very bitter ichirukist indeed
It was obvious if you looked at it as a piece of fiction and not as someone immersed in the story.
That being said, it's just a weak defense for shitty writing.
It has nothing to do with the childhood friend trope you dumb fuck. Tatsuki never liked Ichigo that way, and she was practically written out of the story unlike Renji who stayed tied at the hip with Rukia after the SS arc.
>pic related is all I need to debunk your dumbass post
It sucks when you actually like rukia and think she's a good character :(
naruhina made sense because sakura's goal in life was to blow sasuke but this time rukia and ichigo had a good character relationship from the start only for it to be ruined bye discount hinata
>being this butthurt 8 months later
God bless Kubo.
>implying kubo had a choice in this and that it wasn't just to satisfy the broadest demographic possible
>implying kubo had a choice in the last bleach arc
>kubo just wanted to draw cool shit
There is nothing wrong with the end pairings
We are. The real reason was that Orihime is Kubo's waifu and he disregarded all the previous stuff he's written just so she'd get her desired endgame.
In short: Waifufags ruin everything once again.
Don't try to use logic with an IR fan. They don't have any of that.
>The real reason was that Orihime is Kubo's waifu
Again with the conspiracy theories? My fucking sides.
A new anime , especially after a long time, and especially if it's a new anime from the start of the series, makes new readers interested in the manga, or makes that former fans feel interested again, so the manga volumes increase the sales, even since the first volumes if they are new readers..
Majority of the bleach fandom including a good deal of the irfags left around the 3rd major arc, irfagbase, though still having more fags shipping that crap, aren't as big as they claim to be anymore, even the Japs have turned against them.
Nope. He only talked about his favorite female characters twice and he stated Yoruichi/Rangiku the first time and then Rangiku/Orihime the second time.
He has never stated multiple times that Orihime is his favorite girl though it wouldn't surprised if she was one of his favorites in general.
Orihime had more character development than Rukia ever did, and that's saying something.
Ichirukia fans are the absolute fucking worst in terms of taste personality wise AND tits-wise.
>b-but anon muh flatchest
There's 2 hundred plus other girls in Bleach with better character design, personality, AND smaller tits, get over it.
>was it just a ruse?
No, it was a ruse raven.
>Orihime had more character development than Rukia ever did
orihime's sole existence is to be ichigo's waifu
she was given powers so that she wouldn't be left out
Oh yes rofflemywaffles or something like that. They're annoying.
I think both girls got character development, though I think Rukias development finished a lot earlier than Orihimes.
I also think both girls are pretty and attractive in their own way though I prefer Orihimes design.
They're also a member of deathberry, and every time they post on bleach asylum, it's about pairings and how eechiwooki should be canon. Their latest endeavour: trying to convince people Matsubara supposedly said xyz about the bleach ending and her own novel. Lmao.
>Both girls struggled with guilt and sadness towards a loved one
Orihime resolves this early on during the Hollow!Sora fight while Rukia doesn't resolve this till her fight with Aaeroniero where she finally gets to avenge Kaien in her own way.
>Both girls don't think they're not worth saving during their arcs and struggle with different emotions such as sadness/happiness/guilt etc and this something Rukia points out during the HM arc
Rukia realizes that she actually wants to live during the SS arc and also realizes that she is important to others, the biggest being Byakuya. During the HM arc, Orihime doesn't understand at first why the group came to save her but then she does with her "my heart is already with them" speech. They both realize that they're worthy and important.
>Both girls wanted their strength to be acknowledged
Orihime wanted Ichigo to count her during a battle instead of telling her to stay back and Rukia has always wanted Byakuya to compliment her strength. Interesting how both girls get their wish during the same arc yet it's only Orihime that gets shit for wanting Ichigo to count on her.
Yes, they stopped translating because certain fans were twisting the translations and it was obviously IR fans since Verduisteurung translated parts of the another Bleach novel and never had this problem. It's a shame.
if someone says that ichihime/renruki ruined the series then they're obviously just angry shippers.
I decided to check DB the other day for the first time in months and even with the general section closed down there were still complaints, holy shit. I was an IRfag but to get this asshurt is just stupid.
Yes she translated that entire novel, but she was also translating certain parts of the RR novel(she would share her favorite parts) but stopped since certain fans were twisting scenes into something bad and negative and we all know it was IR fans.
kek, saiyan is made of salt. also hes taking the fainting thing too literally, that scene is just suppose to show us how flustered rukia is at the thought of taking renjis last name.
This person, with another different nick, usually posted too in Narutobase forums whining about the same, but most people didn't agree with him/her either xD.
It seems he/she want to spread his /her IchiRuki rants in various forums to convert the no-believers or something.
I feel sorry for him. And a bit of respect. No matter the salt, he never engaged in personal attacks against other members and never bullied like the prominent ichirukicultists.
Yeah the fainting thing was a bad choice of words from the person who wrote up the novel spoilers. They later explained what they were trying to say when they wrote 'faint'.
Anyway reading the actual translation of that scene, it was a simple case of inner nerves and nothing more, it's a cute scene.
These were the only ones I took at the time but I can post more later.
>ichihime is one-sided during the HM arc
isnt this the arc where ichigo abandons a dying rukia when ulquiorra tells him that he brought orihime to hm? also pic-related happened during this arc as well
Holy shit, what some IchiRuki fans have to make up to continue denying the truth: "IchiRuki was soooo special, and Kubo loved it too much that he knew that his writing skills weren't good enouth anymore for the perfection that is IchiRuki"
I know all shippers are blind about their pairing but, what the hell XD?
>"IchiRuki was soooo special, and Kubo loved it too much that he knew that his writing skills weren't good enouth anymore for the perfection that is IchiRuki"
Denial. They just don't face the fact that they were wrong all this years, and that they actually didn't understand Bleach better than the rest of the fanbase.
They've made up so many excuses as to why IR didn't happen. Sad and embarrassing.
The sad fact is, the images anon posted are showcasing some relatively mild commentaries from IRs on that website, long winded essays about how some IRs on that site apparently 'knew Kubo personally with promises of making IR canon' or how much they hate Orihime because they are reminded of their teenage self, getting outdone by the pretty big boobed girl at school (no lie the screenshots are on the anal hall of devestation 2), that sort of shit will make you want to claw your eyes out.
>how much they hate Orihime because they are reminded of their teenage self, getting outdone by the pretty big boobed girl at school
They self-inserted obviously. The hate they had towards Orihime was too obsessive and weird.
>It was obvious if you looked at it as a piece of fiction and not as someone immersed in the story.
>You don't know it as well as I do!!!!!
Then why couldn't you see it anon?
>You don't create powerful characters just to one-shot them.
To be fair, the Soul King was pretty much always just presented as some vague sort of source of power rather than power in itself.
Old Yama on the other hand...
Forget about the shipping for just a second, what the actual fuck did she mean?
>guy spends two arcs sacrificing himself because he's worried about people
>lol it's not like you to worry
I think Rukia took it as an insult if anything, like Ichigo doesn't believe she's strong enough to roam around HM by herself and I could see why he think's that way since she got hurt badly by Grimmjow back in his hometown.
Not necessarily... It's partially the translation I guess but the gist is Ichigo is doubting Rukia's abilities which is not like him since he charged into SS aided only by his high school classmates, a thug from rukongai, and a talking cat.
Did she really say my Kurosaki-kun in the raws or this a bad translation?
>Hey Kubo my dude, we need more good guys to sell posters, and more girls to sell branded fleshlights, can you kill one bird with two stones
>it isn't selling well, can you make her more important?
>but she has just been here for two minutes
>can you make her closer to the heroes?
>but she has just been here for five minutes
>can you give her a "I'LL PROTECT YOU" moment? It would totes work
>but she and Ichigo met ten minutes before
>silly Kubo, are you implying the marketing gods could be wrong?
Over 60k which makes it the highest Matsubara novel that we know of since DSTS sold 55k and we don't know the sale for her other two Bleach novels.
Thanks for clearing that up. I found it odd since it was very bold of her.
>Over 60k which makes it the highest Matsubara novel that we know of
Yeah, but compare that to when Bleach was selling millions of tanks. That doesn't establish that it's got the kind of popularity that they want to see for a daytime anime.
>were the reason Zombie Powder was canned
>passed on Bleach until Toriyama requesteed they reconsider
>forced him to cut first arc short cutting out human characters from being introduced/developing
>forced him to make the arrancar arc longer than originally intended
>Kubo frequently laments his displeasure in Jump's editorial staff
Editors actually have way more say in a manga than the author himself at times, and Kubo just doesn't seem to get along with technical staff.
Titles used on databooks. That's basically it.
Poem in first manga databook mentioned a black sun, a similar book was made for the anime had a complimentary poem about a white moon. Ichigo is on manga cover Rukia was on anime book cover shippers went into overdrive plastering edits of the two together and proclaiming it was proof of their ship.
despite all the 'black moon' shit that describes Ichigo in the series proper
>the story of the arc as kubo intended
Another twenty chapters to show Gerard's and Toofsy's fights, then another bunch to show Ywach reshaping all worlds, defeating everyone and forcing them to regroup, introducing a dozen new goons and starting another hundred chapter long semi-arc to once again try to get to Ywach in whatever place he decided to settle down?
Sure, why not.
Yeah, that was one of the first things people noticed. I wonder if Kazui's Bankai looks like his old man's Shikai.
Ichibe said he was a real shinigami after he fixed him up.
The bankai he had before was forced evolved by the hogyoku, and so it manifested through ichigos desire to fight byakuya on even terms by turning into an equally small sword and being fast enough to catch him.
Notice how his Bankai is large at the end of the series, like all Bankai are supposed to be.
>>implying kubo had a choice in this and that it wasn't just to satisfy the broadest demographic possible
>not understanding why Ichiruki pandering happened everywhere but the manga
>Orihime never became a missile-launching death robot
Biggest disappointment desu
Oh, that's so nice of Rukia to babysit Ichigo and Orihime's son so they can go have a date together.
Truly, Rukia is the best friend for Ichigo, like the 14th ending said :
Good thing girls are not relevant.
No, that's Kazui's power. One among many of his powers, anyway.
>I just hope Ichika can stay relevant for at least 20% of the show.
She will since she's the RR child and most importantly Rukia's child and we all know how much Japan loves Rukia.
Yeah, but even Rukia was not relevant for more than 30% of the show, so her daughter(half Renji MCforgoten) might get even less attention.
Well, at least we can be happy Rukia didn't get the Sakura treatment.
>all these butthurt ichiruki fans
>all these smug ichihime fans
lets be real here guys, kubo probably flipped a coin or some shit to pick who Ichigo got with. Kubo gives no fucks.
8 months later anons are still mad over their ships in a series that axed. You people are more pathetic then both SJW's and the Alt Right. Now gonna lie I hope the Anime returns to not only fix this arc's problems but make you fucks even more butthurt.
>it was always obvious that she would win in the end.
The other day I saw this post on tumblr:"It has literally been twelve years and I'm still bitter that zutara isn't canon", some shippers are that dramatic.
And besides, zutara, how could they believe that had some posibility to happen? And 12 years, that is when the series started, not the finale, so this person is saying that started shipping zutara since the beginning, when Zuko and Katara don't interact and the reasons that people gave to ship them were that one was fire and the other water, so they go well together. Such a deep reasons (the real reason was that Zuko was hot)
I never really thought Ichiruki worked, the two of them seemed more like 2 good friends or working partners more than lovers. If they ended up together, it would end up feeling forced, if anything.
But I don't really think Ichihime was good either, only because there wasn't much development
at least on Ichigo's sideof the two of them.
Maybe Ichigo should have just ended up alone?
>Maybe Ichigo should have just ended up alone?
Considering the peanut he has for a brain, the more likely scenario would have been
getting married to a random high-school acquaintence, getting a kid, then getting divorce because that was the golddigger's plan to drop him at his first wrinkle, then run off to Soul Society because he can't pay child support for his wife's son
If Kubo had made obvious Ichigo's side, like, for example, in the pilot chapter, where is obvious both of them liked the other, then Kubo had had to dedicate more time to the romance, something the he himself said he didn't want to give it much time.
So the way to indicate Ichigo's feelings is through hints, not something clearly stated. It's the same with the rest of the relationships in the manga with something romantic, they are implied, not clearly said which are their feelings.
Maybe also Kubo likes more the hints than the obvious. This is the man who said he put foreshadowing that only a few readers would get, so I think he likes that his readers deduce things instead of telling it clearly to them
If Tatsuki totally wanted that Ichigo and Orihime became together, even though she thought that Orihime could do much better than Ichigo.
I will never stop being mad at Orihime being part of the "good guys" team despite being a complete bore and utterly useless fro the entire run while Tatsuki was swept under the rug and swiftly forgotten despite being the more interesting character.
Same for Karin. I had a glimmer of hope at the beginning of the Fullbring arc but nope, that was just another empty tease.
All I want to know is when that stupid guide book or whatever is coming out.
How the fuck else am I supposed to find out what ichigo's, renjis, Shinji, and possibly aizen's bankais are.
And while we're at it explaining what the fuck Unohana bankais supposed be.
No there is no guidebook announced.
People wanted a databook after the manga finished is all. The only things announced were light novels, live action movie, one shot from Kubo for said movie, and recently news of an interview with Kubo requested by a fellow mangaka.
>You are reminded that Tatsuki was thrown away because she was too similar to Rukia.
>"Why have Tatsuki do x when you could just give it all to Rukia, Kubo-sensei? They're the same character."
What are some good IchiTatsu fics?
Only cause they have some content to talk about after the ending, which is movies and Boruto.
If Kazui and Ichika have their series and show their character, there'd probably be more people who think the pairings weren't so bad, and if there's some bigger conflict you would have more people theorizing that would tip discussions away from shipping.
Unohana's bankai is bloody skeletons.
Zaraki is just too dumb to be afraid of the skeleton that lives inside him.
seriously though, shikai and bankai are supposed to "share their element/power" or something along these lines, so what is the underying theme between giant floating green medikit squid and bloody skeletons?
Orihime is a very entartaining character and from the start it was obvious she was going to be one of the mains.
Tatsuki didn't have powers, it was clear too that she was going to remain little relevant.
But they should have shown some romantic interest in each other, but that wasn't the case. You should respect what your favorite characters want, don't force them into something that they don't want.
>want to drop it several times during and after mexico arc
>do it after they capture aizen
>years later shit is over
>don't even want to finish it
Maybe I'll just read/watch those early chapters/episodes again.
That's the thing though, Orihime pretty much pulled her powers out of nowhere because we needed a girl in the good guys team.
The first fight with her could have gone either way, really, neither her nor Tatsuki were that developped in the first place (it was barely one or two volumes in, so that's to be expected considering Kubo's sluggish pacing) and powers were just appearing out of nowhere for the sake of plot and building a team.
Plus the problem is that while Orihime was quite fun in the very early points of the series, she became completely flat as things went on, going from "I must protect my friends by putting my hands in front of me and make triangles happen" to "oh noes, Ichigo save me!".
she turned into a plot device you carry along because you need to heal people so you can throw them into more fights
>Respect what your favorite characters want
This is some autism right here
All the characters in this series have powers because the author decided so. You know, it's a way to create a story.
Orihime had much more protagonist than Tatsuki since the first volumes. It's obvious she was going to be one of the main characters and Tatsuki not.
The characters don't remain static in a story, if you don't like what Kubo did with Orihime is ok. I don't like many things that Kubo did after the SS arc, and this include what did and how changed most of the characters, not only Orihime.
For the people who didn't like the ending which pairing did you think was worse, RenRuki or IchiHime?
I'm not really a big fan of IchiHime but it was...serviceable I suppose, at least relative to the quality of the series at that point.
But RenRuki was even worse for me. Yeah I get that Renji liked Rukia but she really didn't seem to respect him much. Felt very forced to me, much more so than IchiHime
she did some kinda of healing voodoo along with it. remember greaser RG taught her healing water arts. so she had those both mixed in together. 'ill kill you 1000 times and heal you' etc
Literally the only men she's shown 'respect' for are her superiors i.e. nii sama, Ukitake and kaien.
It'd be pretty weird if she was in love with any of the aforementioned. Renji and Rukia are old friends, any disrespect is just playful and not serious.
>I will never stop being mad at Orihime being part of the "good guys" team despite being a complete bore and utterly useless fro the entire run while Tatsuki was swept under the rug and swiftly forgotten despite being the more interesting character.
I think the reason this happened is because Tatsuki was, in some ways, too similar to Rukia so Kubo decided to keep Orihime who contrasted with her more.
Also the tits.
She made fun of Ichigo a lot too but she still seemed to respect him.
I get that a romantic relationship doesn't require that element but I don't think the interactions between Rukia and Renji really made their relationship seem anything more than a one sided crush between childhood friends.
RenRuki could've been redeemed just within the last arc but instead we had to see like a dozen fights no one cares about instead and have them forced together at the last second.
The cancer of the bleach fandom where Ichiruki landwhales accumulate. They are either young school girls self inserting as Rukia, or grown ass women with unfulfilling lives also self inserting as Rukia.
I agree. IchiHime should've been developed more but part of me thinks Kubo wanted to leave it open as to who Ichigo would end up with to keep his options open until the end so he decided not to develop Ichigo much so as to commit to one or the other.
Personally, I would've preferred a heroic death for Ichigo. Then make RenRuki and IshiHime where both Rukia and Orihime longingly remember Ichigo to keep it in the air who he'd end up with just because fuck you all.
No he didn't he deliberately misses his attack on her, and I doubt he would have such a shocked reaction when Byakuya informed them she is going to be executed if he wanted her murdered, much less considering the fact he told her that her brother would definetly get her out of jail with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
Nobody wants to see the last arc animated. It was fucking nonsense. The villains were way to fucking strong that the supposed strongest characters in the series still jobbed to them with the exception of Kubo's self insert.
Yeah he was such a little bitch. Even when he decided to save her he got fucked by Byakuya.
You should never be allowed to fuck a girl if you get your ass kicked by her older brother after being his sniveling lackey in trying too subjugate and kill her.
That would have been horrible. While I liked Ichigo ending up with the tittymonster, I can agree that there wasn't that much development. But there was absolutely nothing between her and Ishida.
And even before that, he was worried when Rukia was going to help Ichigo, because she was going to worse her sentence. Supposedly he wanted to "kill" her, but the next moment he is worried about her sentence getting more severe.
>Kubo wanted to leave it open as to who Ichigo would end up with to keep his options open until the end so he decided not to develop Ichigo much so as to commit to one or the other.
Nah, it's because he obviously wanted IR fans to still hope since it's the most popular pairing. Hello, remember the Urahara scene where it's implied that Rukia should've gone to the final battle with Ichigo but then Renji goes with him? He baited them and he was baiting them for years(the beach ~honeymoon~ spread is an another huge example of this)
Many mangaka tend to do this to appease both sides especially if one is one popular. Kishi even admitted to adding certain scenes to lead on Narusaku fans and a lot of shoujos tends to pick the endgame guy in the last or second to last chapter.
There was a little on Ishida's side towards her. Which means it was a one sided affection, much like IchiHime throughout the vast majority of the series.
Wouldn't have been great but honestly in general there wasn't much romantic development so any pairing would've felt sort of forced since the romance occupied almost no space in the series.
Ishihime is nothing like Ichihime. Ishihime was dropped back in SS arc and dropped isn't even the right word I'm looking for since that entire arc shows that Uryu knows Orihime has feelings for Ichigo. If he did feel anything for her then it was just a mere little crush that never went anywhere since he knew he had no chance.
So what? He still got destroyed the second Byakuya released his bankai.Wasn't even close. Would've been more respectable if he wounded Byakuya and that wound ended up helping Ichigo beat Byakuya or something. As is his fight with Byakuya contributed nothing to saving Rukia.
I honestly don't remember Ishida having any sort of romantic affection towards her. The only thing I can remember with them is the time she almost undressed in front of him.
>Yeah, it was actually good.
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
And then you remember that time Hiyori interrupted a very special moment...if he doesn't go full industry lunatic...choose your own romantic adventure with your psi-spirit guide comatose (again) Juhabach?
Kubo had already said that there weren't romantic feelings between Ichigo and Rukia. Why was he going to say this if he wanted to give IchiRuki fans some hope?
It's simly that people see everything with shipping goggles.
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
They implied he still had feelings for her in HM as well.
Besides like I said, there was almost no romantic development so for me Kubo could've pulled almost anything out of his ass given the ten year time skip. In fact I would've preferred some out of left field ships like IchiSuki and IshiHime
The writing was already bad, might as well surprise the fans instead of go with the most boring ship. Also I think with how little romantic development there was IshiHime could've been done with the last arc.
>I honestly don't remember Ishida having any sort of romantic affection towards her. The only thing I can remember with them is the time she almost undressed in front of him.
There was also the scene where he makes that dress for Rukia but then asks Orihime to try it on and Orihime thinks he has feelings for Rukia with a caption saying she got it completely wrong or something.
There was the scene in HM where she asks him to take her to Ichigo which seemed to me to imply he still had those feelings.
Because majority of IR fans either twisted or ignored that interview and still continued to have hope that IR would happen.
Hope was the wrong word. He was just baiting them and wouldn't be the first mangaka to do this.
It wasn't about how much damage he could do to Byakuya. No one cares about that. The fact is Renji vs Byakuya has been consistently voted as one of the best Bleach fights in official polls, (always in the top 10). The whole fight was about adding to the back story of Renji, Rukia and Byakuya amongst other things like showcasing bankai.
Most people were fine with it, only the autistic shippers who were the loud minority sperged out when it happened. Rukia and Ichigo getting together wouldn't have been any better. Kubo never delved into personal relationships between characters so any pairing at the end would have been forced.
So Ishida had a small little one sided crush on her, how does that make them the better pairing? Orihime was one sided too with Ichigo, but she was full on in love with the guy. Anybody with a functioning brain saw her as the endgame for Ichigo especially after her little confession while Ichigo was asleep.
Nah, Orihime's love was one of the few consistent things of the entire series. It was always obvious she would end up with him. Ishihime was boring and nonexistent and most fans that want it are just Uryu fangirls that don't want him to be alone in the end.
>Ywachs fight with Ichigo was forced and rushed
>Ywachs death was forced and rushed
>ending was forced and rushed
>ending pairings were forced and rushed
>prologue was forced and rushed
All this could be easily rectified and Kubo can come out a genius if he brings it back and has the whole ending be some meta shit about his God Powers and how it was an illusion all along and Ichigo breaks out of it and bypasses his power
But it won't because Kubo was a hack all along and there was no 8th level of subtext
Pick up your "Mental Breakdown Mayuri Kurotsuchi" fully articulated twelve " figure from the Bandai website!!
It's called method writi8ng.
Those shippers are so...boring though...can't they write any relationships that don't seem based in a world where everyone has hi-octane mixtures of nitro and honey-maple syrup instead of blood? I want bonding, not longing!
That's why all the good fanfic is only at the beginning of a fandom.
Numerous ways an anime could be good:
>OVA for the last arc, including all of Kubo's notes for how the story panned out, written by a competent writer and directed by a competent director
>DB Kai revamp with the final arc and touch-ups to the story
>Solidify Ori-ichi to seal in the butthurt forever
>that one butthurt ishihime fan in the thread
you sure took the 2.3 panels kubo threw at you seriously huh
Well timed there guy. Tekken Tachikaze/10
>Yeah, but compare that to when Bleach was selling millions of tanks. That doesn't establish that it's got the kind of popularity that they want to see for a daytime anime.
You don't know how much novels sell right? it's a completely different audience.
And thus you are on the path to learning my small little french fry.
>fanfiction dot net
>a bunch of sites even google wayback doesn't have
>ask a friend in the American CIA
>Why am I using meme arrows oh yeah that
>So Ishida had a small little one sided crush on her, how does that make them the better pairing?
I liked her interactions and dynamic with Uryuu better. In fact I liked most of her interactions with characters other than Ichigo. In general I didn't care much for Ichigo, painfully boring character.
IchiHime fans ladies and gentleman.
Oh yea that nutcase ishihime fangirl. I feel like she was self-inserting.
She's doomed to die a different way though is why?
She is. She self admittedly hates one half of her otp, that is canon Orihime aka the girl she publicly called titty monster, but will 101% flip if you even say anything akin to negativity when Uryuu aka her fictional husband is concerned.
I was 99.8% sure IshiHime wasn't going to happen so it wasn't a huge shock or let down to me.
I was just disappointed more generally with the ending because it was so lame in general. Not just IchIhime, all of it. RenRuki was even worse and the kids were too. Just felt like Kubo was phoning it in and decided to copy the Naruto ending.
Karin's tits were the only good part.
>Just felt like Kubo was phoning it in and decided to copy the Naruto ending.
Nah, Dragon-ball had marriage and kids, and so did Kenshin. Naruto wasn't the first major shounen to do it.
I think Ishida had a higher chance ending up with Nemu (until the whole SK arm fight) than Orihime. He's had more moments with her than Orihime and it would really be quite triggering for Mayuri. Coincidentally too, Ishida was once said to be Kubo's self-insert/favorite while Mayuri became his all time favorite.
And yet even with triple eights on your side after this, you won't be observant enough to understand this respo n s e I g i v e y o u ...
>? Re-read that ending page with Kazui you dumb-dumb!
>mocks Ichihime cause it is a one-sided romance
>yet likes Ishihime which is also one-sided romance
Should just say that you're a Ichiruki shipper who just wants Orihime out of the way.
>that whole weird tension with Nemu during the Soul Society Arc
>nothing ever comes of it
>Ishida's raging revenge boner driving him to fuck up Mayuri
>nothing ever comes of it
Honestly no one should've been fucking surprised by how devoid of satisfaction and meaning the ending was. This shit has been going on for years. People just got blinded by the happening early in the final arc.
Goku got married and had kids well before the end of that series and Kenshin's relationship with Kaoru was far more developed and she had no rivals. The dynamic in Bleach was more similar to Naruto in the way the pairing was left ambiguous until the end.
That's what others were talking about so I jumped in.
Nemu would've been a good pairing as well for the reasons you mentioned.
>Honestly no one should've been fucking surprised by how devoid of satisfaction and meaning the ending was. This shit has been going on for years. People just got blinded by the happening early in the final arc.
The thing is there was always a chance that maybe we could get something that was okay but in the end we didn't(except for Karin's tits).
>that whole weird tension with Nemu during the Soul Society Arc
It was never that big of a thing though, I remember the anime adding a lot more Nemu x Ishida so maybe that's what people were expecting?
>Ishida's raging revenge boner driving him to fuck up Mayuri
The guy technically saved his life twice, I had to assume by the second time Ishida decided to reconsider his blind revenge.
Thus proving all Nemu/Ulquiorra fanfics to be the series true cannon ship until Ywhajubach decides he wants to re-enact Back to The Future again.
>To put it simply, whether it was heaven or hell you've loved, blind truth is no different than a dream
Both of those are shit though. Gin was a dumbass that went to get revenge Rangiku never asked for, and Urahara turned Yoruichi into some mindless catgirl in the final arc. Yoruichi is in SS now so that means they're not partners anymore.
That was a good one.
>Urahara turned Yoruichi into some mindless catgirl in the final arc.
You say that like its a bad thing
>I think it's ridiculous to criticize the canon pairings and then to say that pairings with much less development are good.
Why? More development=/ better, not when Kubo does it. Yoruichi and Urahara or Shunsei and Nanao were much more fun to watch together than Ichigo and Orihime or Rukia and Renji
It's like people saying that the only good pairing in Naruto is ShikaTema, and this couple even needed various novels to show, not their marriage, but how they had became to be close and finally fell in love,
In Bleach the canon pairings had a much better development compared to ShikaTema and people criticize them. Where is the logic?
For those who haven't seen it yet. Jump made an official sticker with ichiruki instead of canon pairings. They know what sells and what nips want. They even photoshopped them together badly. Of course there is no sticker with Inoue.
Oh yes the whole sticker thing. I remember when the first one was revealed yet they forgot to mention that Mayuri and Nemu also got one.
I loved the butt destruction this caused the only one better is when pic related won.
I don't think it has anything to do with pairings. It's probably an MC or duo type sticker.
Their ad for the RR novel has the Ichihime sketch right smack in the middle so I don't think JUMP really gives a shit anymore about appeasing to IR fans.
>It's really low compared to other ones.
The RR novel is literally the highest-selling Matsubara novel to date, it even outsold the previous novel "death save the strawberry".
What are you even saying anon?
I've been listening to the openings a lot lately, good shit, I loved the casual style they had going on.
also never really gave a fuck about shipping but I did like the idea of Ichigo and Rukia.
The RR novel has four out of five stars on amazon.jp. Seriously what are you talking about?
If you're talking about the final volume which has 2 and a half stars then I'm not sure about the total sales, but I do know it sold over 450k.
It's true though. I perfectly well remember these threads while manga was ongoing. There was zero IH fangirls here, while Rukia was worshipped. IH supposedly appeared only after the ending. It's trolls obviously who just like to make people ass blasted and have an occasion for it now.
/a/ never unironically liked IchiHime. You would get laughed out of here for supporting it.
They're trying to ride the cocktails of NaruSaku. Parading IchiHime to cause drama.
I remember as well. I was one of the only posters who liked Orihime and I shipped
Then again maybe they migrated to these threads after the ending to say "I told you so"
>There was ZERO IH shippers before the ending in these threads.
There were actually. Some were trolls, but some were genuine IH fans. It was during the last few chapters. Check the archive and see for yourself.
I know that when compared to other LN series(like SAO for example), 60k isn't much but overall it isn't a bad number at all. Like I said, "Death save the strawberry" came out while the manga was on-going and more popular yet sold around 55k while this one sold 60k despite the lackluster ending and major fall in popularity.
But what has to do the novels with the stickers? Because you were answering to a post about the stickers.
And Jump books have had to reprint the novel 2 times, and they are continuously announcing in its twitter that it has great sales. You can't compare what an editorial expect of different series. For them this novel has sold very well.
kek im going through the archive and irfags still didn't believe the spoilers when pic was leaked
There so many.
In all honestly, do you guys think Bleach shitposting will slow down in time for the next novel? How long until the teenagers move on and we can have actual decent Bleach discussion again?
I don't know. I just thought the art was cute.
>How long until the teenagers move on and we can have actual decent Bleach discussion again?
I posted the newest chapter to the latest novel and then some IRfags got angry. It's always them that start shit and then IHfags engage them.
I consider anyone who legitimately cares about shipping in a battle shounen a teenager, at least mentally. There's an entire genre, hell, an entire demographic dedicated to romance manga yet they choose to discuss it here instead, it's completely pathetic.
There's always this one faggot who blurts out "muh discussion" when he sees a post he didn't like.
What do you want to discuss little tim? you didn't like the pairing? annoyed by the ending? wanna discuss how the anime could fix- oh wait
>overall the ending of bleach didn't cause near as much butthurt as the Naruto ending
No one said it did? Who mentioned Naruto in the first place? Also I have to disagree, IR was by far the most popular pairing so it generated butthurt on here/tumblr/twitter/facebook/deathberry forum/tieba whereas most naruto fans wanted NH as the main pairing.
Genos and Saitama also shared a sticker. What's your point?
>let's turn her into the most interesting character and immediately kill her because that shows how badass kenpachi's training was
fuck you kubo
>mfw i remember that she was killed off for literally no reason
also this guy, reveals his true intentions then dies just like that
Then you don't need to be included in this discussion.
Created? Not in the literal sense, but there's definitely more to their history before Mayuri ended up in the maggots nest.
>ichiruki spent 15 years brainwashing themselves into believing that their ship is a thing, and the core of the story on top of that
>got BTFO at every single turn in the second half of 2016
>somehow expect a nonexistent anime to throw them a bone when it would realistically only put them deeper under the ground by expanding on the manga end
How the mighty have fallen.
Wow the sketch and novel really triggered them.
>renruki fans get a ton of cute moments in the novel
>get a cute sketch
>get the wedding invitation
>ichihime fans get a good amount of orihime in the novel
>get ichigo admitting that hes in love with orihime
>get ichigos pre-confession
>get a sketch
>ichirukists get a badly photoshopped sticker
my fucking sides
Damn do these kids really think they're savage? How embarrassing.
>Thinks the sketch is a confession when it's not
>"It made me feel something muh echiwooki feels" you felt something that was never the authorial intent, nincompoop.
>"Kubo didn't want to draw renruki because he thought it would be unconvincing" Irfags twisting the postscript translation and suddenly suffering amnesia because we literally get a sketch of renruki blushing like dorks.
>"Orihime le heroine" Irfags still misunderstanding that heroine was used with the context of 'love interest' and not main protagonist.
>"Precious, beautiful, adored Orihime" re-evaluation of life needed. Jealousy of fictional character is unhealthy.
>"If I were an IHfag I'd be sad :(" projecting much.
>"Dat crappy sketch, I can do better!" Fool probably doesn't even have an ounce of the artistic ability Kubo does, said fool would be salivating if said sketch was exactly the same standard but with Rukia instead.
I know, I can see it, I'm a member. I'm just saying that those threads were still up for a good while after the ending, they simply blocked access from non members from viewing them.
They only deleted it once the novel started rolling around and people were getting even more angry. A mod had a hissy fit and deleted everything except those.
And it's funny because I saw them mention my screencaps in there so clearly some of them still shitpost in here.
He didn't even get to show off his Bankai. Just a sad situation all around.
Not even Kubo has any idea. I'm pretty sure he just forgot that Shinigami are already dead people like halfway through SS arc, by the time Rukia's sister caught a cold and died. As a ghost.
We can all agree that Ichigo is a pussy for taking so long and being so bloody oblivious about Orihime and women in general, right?
In hindsight Rukia is way too good for him, but that's just because Kubo cared less about his MC than expanding the cast ever more.
I found a Bleach MORPG on Byond.
He saved Hitsugaya and Byakuya twice as well. Kenpachi and Unohana wasn't needed as much as everyone else believes since the Shinigami won their battles and Unohana wanted to die anyway after she got her wish.
Nah, it'll be something feral. hence the tsuba bearing similarity to Renjis tatoos
It'll be a yeti. Her Shikai will be a giant ice club, and her bankai will be a giant snowstorm while she's covered in fur, with an even bigger ice club
>Her Shikai will be a giant ice club, and her bankai will be a giant snowstorm while she's covered in fur, with an even bigger ice club
MAKE IT HAPPEN KUBO
>hits enemy so hard with ice club that it fucking shatters everywhere
>enemy recovers, thinking they now have the upper hand
>Ichika uses her reiatsu to control the shards the same way Renji controlled his blade sections
>uses enemy as a pincushion
Seriously, why is this not a thing
byond was the shit. I used to play this dope as yugioh game on byond. It was actually the best duel monster game I have ever played. I don't understand why konami never capitalized on something similar.
Here are all the stickers from last year. There's even a sticker with both Kenpachi/Yachiru. The sticker with Ichigo/Rukia wasn't meant to be romantic or anything, it's just a sticker showing the two main characters. It's the same with the latest sticker.
The stuba is technically half of a manji/swastika. Just place another one on top but rotated 90 degrees to either direction, to see what I mean.
I bet they inherited some awesome hyper tag team abilities no-one else can use.
Over a thousand players over several games. Space station has like half of all players.
If only I had discovered it sooner, we might've produced some funny Bleach autism in those games.
The cancer is real.
