All things considered, I think physically disabling Mama would be the safest approach. Either by finding a way to poison her, either by building a sort of trap which can restrict her movements.

I'm concerned about Emma. Someone already mentioned it before but her smile looks very off at the end of the chapter and she was close to snapping in this chapter. Norman's "death" hit her hard. We've already seen she has a somber side underneath that cheerful mask when she threatened Ray and I think it might come out pretty soon. Norman's not around to support her anymore and she might break.
