I noticed an immediate change in the art style when :re started and there was just a one month break between part1 and :re. If you reread the Anteiku raid arc and jump over to one of the early :re chapters you'll immediatly notice how many panels and characters are just poorly drawn with less detail and more scribbles. Everything looks just more sketchy in general.

Sometimes I wonder why they even split the series into two separate parts if a simple timeskip could've done it as well.

Maybe it is really a new guy who's in charge for :re now.

There have been some cool as fuck panels despite the drop in consistency with the art. I think Ishida generally steps up the quality of art during significant moments. but overall the quality and detail has gone down. like this scene with Donato and Uta this chapter. Read part 1, it has some very strong characterization and atmosphere and can be a pretty emotional read. depending on how RE: finishes, the original run of TG may go down as the high point of the series. the ending is especially good.
