That's what I would have done. You don't voluntarily join the army just to not follow orders, otherwise you might as well stay a civilian if you can't accept the consequence of you're action.

But I'm correct, aren't I? Going in a war to take revenge for her dead father isn't going to resurrect her dad, and killing Tanya isn't going to make her feel better about herself (see Achilles killing Hector, was he happy?). And on top of that the horror of war would left her even more broken.

Therapy is the only thing that would help her. Death is a natural and tragic consequence of live especially for a soldier during wartime, and she should learn to accept that.

And I don't want to punch a fictional character, neither I am mad. I'm just concerned for her mental health.
