I was a bit iffy after the first episode, but the second one hooked me with the coup talks

kaitou really fucked up with this line. it's receive, not smoke. completely changes the meaning of it

Amazing? Really? They managed to make an assassination attempt boring. As well as stupid. The rest of the show has been slow, but most of it wasn't tedious.

Episode 8 was great though.

I really like the aesthetic. I just think the writing is kind of weak, and the fantasy political intrigue plot suffers from that a lot more than most simple anime plots would.
