Why do Megumi have to be on that pose?
That cute little bobble hat was a really good red herring. I wasn't expecting Megashima to be a walking murder tank.
Also Eizan jobs straight away to Giganigga.
Last ones standing are Soma, Erina and Tsukasa.
Rindou is actually a traitor and sabotages the match because she is chaotic neutral.
At least this is what I hope happens. If Soma is just as good as Tsukasa now without Tsukasa having a handicap (Rindou) then the series might as well be over.
Yua was another first year. We don't know if she's still around like Urara is.
And yeah Urara obviously passed both the hell camp and stagiaire, so she's decent enough as a cook it seems.
Nao wasn't expelled. We saw her during the first stage of the exam, along with Houjou, and Gigga.
Nao and Houjou will probably show up in the crowd to support the rebels.
Because Tsukuda thinks it is funny to put a retard in the middle of all that hype. That and the audience needs an "ordinary" person's reaction to comprehend just how amazing the stage they're fighting on is.
How are they even going to decide on who gets what new rank?
I'm imagining the ones that were demoted elite 10's will get their positions back and move up so that will fill the top 3, but what about the rest? I mean except Megumi of course because she is a beta and is probably just going to voluntarily take the number 10 or 8 slot.
Rindou is gonna end up being an anti-climax like that guy from Akame Ga Kill
Says me. Azami said if they win the match, they can divvy up the seats as they see fit.
When the rest of them lose, and their last member(s) pulls out a clutch victory against the E10s strongest, they'll agree that the person in question deserves the top seat.
Exactly. This match won't be proof that Soma is better than Tsukasa, just that Soma's team was better than the current elite 10. It also certainly won't be proof that Soma is better than the demoted elite 10.
Probably pretty long. I'm not sure if I could hande Erina's bitchy attitude, but Alice and Rindou seem to be pretty friendly and easy-going persons. I doubt we will become friends, but I could just ignore them.
Now if that room had Takumi, Kuga and Tsukasa in it, oh boy...
Rindou really is the embodiment of Chaotic Neutral, I have no fucking idea why Erina daddy is letting her participate when he had the good sense to ban her from the second round of testing.
It's not Kobayashi's hair, it's the
Nah, she'd be great, she's always energetic and would force your hand to do things. Sure she pouts but then you can just tease her and watch her get all cute on you. While Rindou then teases you.
You'd have the hardest boner after awhile with that dynamic.
No, they'll be in charge after they remove Azami and until they appoint his replacement.
Also, I'd bet Senzaemon will stay retired and someone like Doujima or Alice's dad will be put in charge since Erina is still too young to take over.
And when Megishima and Rindou graduates
I don't think you understand where Rindou is in this fight, but as a hint, it's not the winning side.
Also, no, she can't switch sides. They've entered with the people they've got. If they could just keep adding more people after they start, Azami can delay this indefinitely.
Not to mention the adults could throw themselves in there, which also isn't going to happen.
What kind of person likes to do laundry? What's his problem?
Sorry anon, but no. She would have had to have done what Erina did and disavow central and give up her seat before the match started.
The most she can do is sabotage, but even if she were inclined to do that, she's still not part of the rebel team. That would just be her being a rotten part of her own team.
>Sorry anon, but no. She would have had to have done what Erina did and disavow central and give up her seat before the match started.
You claiming it is so doesn't make it so, specially when you have stated nothing to back it up.
You've read this manga. You know that shokugeki have to be run through an actual office, and they draw up contracts. The rules are made clear as day and the participants agree to them. And you think the rebels slipped in a "ribbon clause", that Azami failed to notice when he read over the contracts?
The rules are decided by the participants. All Jou had to do was say the ribbons are the rebel side and Azami agrees, because he wouldn't predict Rindou wearing a ribbon like that. Did you not read the last fucking 10 chapters when they had to individually decide the rules? When did they go over to the Shokugeki office during these chapters to ask the administration? Oh right.
Are you serious? Shokugeki are serious business in the manga. And they had an entire month to prepare everything including the venue and getting the judges we haven't met yet.
Azami obviously contacted Kageura, the head of the shokugeki administration at the school and they drew up the shokugeki contracts. This all has to be above board or it won't count.
The "likes" and "dislikes" are usually really bad homophonic puns using kana. For example, a character who inherits a legacy might like mochi, since mochi also means "to carry."
He is the true mastermind behind all.
They were fucking
Alice is now pregnant but you can't tell yet
He was seen taking the regular exams, so realistically, he won't have had as much time to train with the team as the main four, or the ex-elites who weren't taking the exam to begin with, being upperclassmen.
So I expect his perfect trace to make up for that teamworkwise.
>when you realize Giganigga's Perfect Trace fortold the BLACKENING of the Red Man
Well, according to Alice they were going to get shipped home, but she shut that shit down.
As for the rest of the regular students, they were just taking the exams. Since they are better than those scrubs they aren't suddenly going to be worse than them for missing a month of the exams.
>finals, Rindou + Eishi vs. Erina + Souma
Souma: Haha Azami, Rindou will be betray you, that's why she's wearing the ribbon!
Azami: T-THIS CANNOT BE!!
Rindou: Yeah it isn't, you're wrong
>the tag team proceeds to crush Souma and Erina because well no shit if there's no gimmicking they have to lose
>Rindou immediately challenges Azami for headmaster
Yeah oops forgot about that one.
Was it any different before? First half was all about Souma and Megumi, author sucked Pajeet's dick then and now, second half it was all about Erina.
And just now Takumi is getting relevant but it was seen coming with him being the first rival an all.
The other characters are either fodder, used for be revolved around any character of above and not just for themselves or just fanservice (aka meat)
>it's a white ribbon
Yup Rindou is betraying the fuck out of Tsukasa
Jochirou's behavior reminds me of someone, but who?
Rindo, Megishima, Isshiki and Giganigga are the only characters I'm super interested in at this point
Somei might be interesting what with his large sword knife but that's about
Ok, so this is interesting. Jochirou's issues was that he couldn't seperate himself from his dishes.
Who do we know that has the opposite of that style? And who do we know who is best friends with the person with the "opposite" of that style, and wants to see him put some of himself into the food?
Tsukasa(The first chair of the E10) cooks by "taking himself completely out of the food."
Jochirou(The former Second Chair)'s problem was that he put TOO MUCH of himself into his cooking, amongst other things.
Rindou(The current second chair) wants to have a dish by Tsukasa that "has a bit more of himself in it."
Nothing has changed in that respect. It's never been about anyone else.
There aren't even classes during that month. It's all exams so yeah, missing it doesn't mean much.
I know that those characters are the protagonists and that they are the main focus, but I want to see the development of the others as well. This is what happens when you have a large cast and don't know what to do with them.
>Erina above gigagnigga
See it's funny because that's the same reaction Megumi and Al Dente have, and it's the wrong reaction - like look at Gin's reaction to THEIR reaction here
Souma doesn't skip class or pass on his work to others - the only thing he has in common with his dad is being good at cooking and coming up with weird combinations.
Odds are good Rindou's an obsessive type trying to trailblaze and disguising it by acting like a lazy NEET, just like Jochirou
Why does she eat at literally EVERY booth? Because she wants to see if something new will be made. Why did she vote for Central's plan, but ensure that the Rebels cook too? Because in a chaotic clash, the best flavors could be made. Why did she stick so close to Tsukasa? His perfectionism and dedication demonstrate potential
Why does she never cook? Like Jochirou, she cooks, but she's so far ahead of everyone it's a waste of time to bother, unless it's in a grand de cuisine
So this is my theory
It's not that Rindou is going to be on the Rebel's team
She's going to be on her OWN team
Also when it's time to cook Jochirou ties his hair up in a ponytail - just like Rindou
Azami would be lawful evil. He took over Tootsuki through perfectly legal means. He didn't coerce, extort, or blackmail anyone (aside from brainwashing Erina) Azami just convinced a majority of E10 membersthat his way was better.
Also some POETRY here - if you go to the practice match with Souma, Daddy, and Erina vs Pastarino, Osanajimi, and Gin, you'll notice that Jouchirou's hair is in a ponytail again - just like it was when he was young.
But go waaaaaaaaay back to Souma's match against Jochirou in chapter 42 and his long hair ISN'T in a ponytail - despite him, you know, cooking food!
This is actually a reference to Samurai and Ronin. Samurai wore their hair in a ponytail for battle - Ronin, or, Exiled/Disgraced Samurai, didn't
Jochirou wears his hair in a Ponytail again when he decides to stand up against Azami and bet his own self in the competition - since he's no longer an "exile."
But Jou put his hair in a pony tail when he left the diner and can also be seen with a pony tail in the picture that Erina took with him.
Well about that- do you have the picture of him cooking with Young Erina? Not the one he took with her, I mean the flashback to the two of them cooking
In any case, he and Rindou both share the habit of putting their hair up into a ponytail when they cook and having it be loose the rest of the time
Loli Erina is a miracle of the universe.
I guess I'm the only one excited for Somei then? Dude has a pretty sweet design
From her shokugeki at the start, to the hell camp, to when she was cooking in class, and to the recent red v white on the train, Erina has always put her hair in a ponytail when cooking.
But that's a given right? Her hair is full on miracle of the universe long. If she didn't tie it up somehow it would get everywhere.
>the one where he's holding her hands
But Anon, that's lewd...
On a scale 1-10, How lewd is Erina-sama?
Omake 7 practically confirms the hiding powerlevel theory.
I just realised that since SnS no longer gets colour pages, we won't get to see Nene, Erina, Megumi, Female New E10 Jobber, nor Rindou's foodgasms in colour.
God damn it, Tsukuda.
Right, but both Jochirou and Rindou, in addition to everything else they have in common, only tie their hair while cooking and have it down and messy the rest of the time
So list of things Jochirou and Rindou have in common, and don't worry I'll make a note when Souma shares the trait too
1. Second Seat of the Elite 10
2. Constantly ditching Class
3. Constantly pushing off bureaucratic work onto others
4. Breezy dialogue like they don't give a shit when it's apparent they do
5. No particular interest in being number one
6. Red hair(Souma shares this as well)
7. No interest in Shokugekis against plebs unless it's a Grand di Cuisine
8. Long hair
And here's what Rindou does NOT share with Jochirou and Souma
1. Makes wacky terrible dishes and forces others to eat it.
Incidentally everything about the Rebellion has been permitted or explicitly guided along by Rindou. Before helping out Souma with that rather long arc about Bear Meat Kaga met with Rindou
No, I'm just pointing out the obvious red flags surronding Rindou, I like to do that. Shokugeki no Souma makes it obvious but it's still neat.
Tomo-chan had something similiar going on with Carol but that was a bit more subtle. And don't get me started on BnHA cause holy fuck the rage from what's gonna happen there...
How long have you been out? I'll tell ya most of what's going on, but I don't wanna spoil too much if you have to catch up.
No, but I think I have an idea what it might mean.
Then it's better to catch up. The question of One for All and if Deku is worthy of being its successor is coming up again, with an interesting parallel story about Shiggy trying to defend his spot as the successor for All for One. The big "secret" that ain't really a secret at all is that it's all tied to a theme that's been going since the Stain arc.
Ramen or noodles
>Poke trainer E10
>White hat E10
Some sort of South American cuisine
A month off school is no big deal even in normal schools. Catching up a month's worth of studies is easy. Especially in a cooking school, and especially for people like Alice/Dog/Curry who's already exceptional even before school.
>And here's what Rindou does NOT share with Jochirou and Souma
Yet. We've never even seen her dishes, and her style is apparently called Outlaw Cooking. That's the closest sounding cooking style as it gets when you think of peanut butter and grilled squid.
I bet she's the one who cooks ants and shit like that #1 restaurant.
You can also figure out via deduction that Rindou is absurd even without obvious visual shit like her and Jochirou being weak to the cold
For example, we find out in Eizan's Shokugeki that the criteria for become an elite 10 is immense - management skills, grades, attendance, clubs, speciality - Eizan became an Elite 10 without having a Shokugeki once.
But the INVERSE of that logic is that if you're an Elite 10 who never manages shit, does any paperwork, or attends class, then you're constantly curbstomping folks in Shokugekis.
I like how everyone is shilling the Rindou is related to Jou and Souma, Rindou has to be Souma's cousin and her mother is probably Jou's sister or something and Rindou got interested in cooking when she tasted Jou's dish in a family reunion or something.
>Nene's getting shat on by Souma to start the tournament
what the hell
at least they couldve had someone besides Souma participate to begin, like Takumi or something or Mimasaka
That would have been more enjoyable. Souma wrecking Nene this early seems kind of boring.
It's Nene and the two newbies. They are the 3 lowest ranks of the E10 other than Eizan, and we already saw him lose to Souma.
And I'm all for getting a Souma match out of the way so we can see other folks.
Its Souma and Nene because Souma is already related with all the other second years, that are soon to become third years.
>ishhiki in psd
And now Nene's shokugeki.
How do you think Megishima feels about his former classmates?
They can only assist him. If the skill level gap is too big between Nene and Souma, he'd still get destroyed, E10 help or not.
You have to be at least 18 to post here.
Nigga, "hiding powelevels" can explain how shes stronger that Eishi but only #2
But "she can't actually cook" can't explain how she's actually #2
Momo, Sword, and Pacha would have been ranked higher than her if that was the case. Even if she hasn't accepted a single challenge for her seat since getting on the E10, she has to have been good enough to actually get there in the first place.
There are only two routes for Rindou: either she's a) Stupidly good or b) Even better than that
It looks like he might get along with Isshiki but he was probably more like a fifth wheel among the third years. The second years don't get along but the third years seem fine and among them only Rindou ever said anything about him being gone.
