What is this trying to convey?
I want to cum inside the bunny
Anyone else pretty excited to see the other supernovas in the New World? After having some exposure to Law and Bege, it's clear that there are plenty of interesting developments that will be made involving the ones we've yet to encounter.
Nami is relaying her experience on Thriller Bark to present company.
Chiffon has a loving, forgiving personality and does not resent her sister for leaving her to a life of terrible beatings.
Carrot has wanderlust, and is surprised that the animate dead exist despite already meeting Brook.
That's probably the top 3 in the planet. Nothing else even has hype.
For a long time I thought Fishman Island would be full of monstrous fishniggers each with x10 the strength of humans on average and a semi-aquatic environment under the Red Line only they could uniquely take advantage of, as well as many water-based martial arts practitioners like Samurai are to Wano. But fast forward a few hundred chapters and the island gets violated by any pirates that make it through Paradise, hardly anyone knows fishman karate, their citizens kidnapped and sold, Zoro put down the King as easy as Monet, and Whitebeard/Big Mom's flag is the only way to keep the place stable.
Does he ever?
That'll work well like it always does though. In every arc they form a plan, it gets foiled, then it turns out Luffy didn't even follow it which will cause a gigantic shitstorm and the main antagonist then makes a pissed off or Enel face.
you ever figure how gross it would be to touch hairy breasts?
Men have chest hair. You could scoop a moob and basically get the same sensation.
That's gay as fuck. Praline best girl.
Do you think Oda's wife gets jealous he spends more time with cute shark girls than her?
Nah, Urouge is going to observe this shit from his high vantage point and laugh at the chaos.
Best arc post-timeskip so far?
Moving at a good clip unlike Fishman Island and Dressrosa, cast has been temporarily whittled down so that we aren't left with some characters doing absolutely nothing for no good reason or overwhelmed with too many things happening at once, natural recurrence of events in the previous arcs leading into important stuff happening now, and Luffy's decisionmaking feels more like pre-timeskip Luffy where he has reasons for doing dumb or unexpected things beyond just retarded contrarianism.
FI and PH are so bad they are out of the competition.
Zou is too short and had no conflict to compare to a larger bigger arc, but WCI had the awful Seducing Woods earlier parts. So far I'd say Dressrosa is better, but only because WCI hasn't ended, so it has a chance to be bad. If the arc continues as it's been so far it'll be better than Dressrosa.
I recently reread all of Whole Cake Island up until the most recent chapters and Seducing Woods wasn't as bad as I remembered at all. It moved fairly quickly and there's a big break to detail Sanji's story in the middle of it as a breather.
It's nothing like the endless running in Punk Hazard, which felt just as needless and dragged out in an archive format as it did weekly
I get the impression that Punk Hazard was conceived as a shorter story in the vein of Little Garden and Drum, but Oda felt pressured by it being the first island in the New World. With all the build up it had to make an impression.
The Yeti Cool Brothers and a huge chunk of that Shinokuni section were outright filler.
The arc is the epitome of running around too. There's no sense of direction or location, and worst of all, Oda wasted the interesting setting by having almost all happen in the snow and then in the lab instead of mixing it up.
am I the only one ITT who enjoyed the Punk Hazard arc a lot?
>Great shot of Bege's crew in the last chapter
>Who is that mysterious individual on the left? He looks cool
>It was actually Caesar
That Oda is still able to fool me so completely with something so simple is amazing.
Sure we will.
Oda originally wanted to introduce the Supernovas in their own related arcs but editors and WSJ asked him to introduce all of them at Sabaody.
But looks like he still wants to give them their own spotlights.
I unironically enjoyed Dressrosa.
When Carrot is in heat does she go into a sexual-frenzy like a Vulcan during pon far?
Like she's already shown shes faster than zorro and as strong as luffy, if she went into heat no one could resist her. She would simply take the male members of the crew over and over and over again.
MILK DOESN'T WORK THIS WAY
MILK DOESN'T FUCKING WORK THIS WAY
HAVE YOU DRANK MILK ODA
>he came up with the supernovas and their design in a week or so
Maybe they wouldn't be named Supernova in the other case, but the characters already were in his mind.
Don't underestimate the power of milk, anon.
I really liked the idea, Luffy gets a mark on his body every time he encounters/meets a Yonko.
scar under his eye
scar on his chest
and so on.
Or Oda was a hack just like when he forgot to draw Sanji's bracelets gave back Crocodile's hand, and so on.
Wait until the Volume release.
But in this case you might be right, CC didn't give much fuck for the details and it was just a quick disguise
It's only a matter of time before Momo gets his hands on the Bunny.
Honestly, i would be really surprised if they weren't planned at all. At the end of the saga Oda literally etablished them as the leaders of the new era. That would be some huge spotlight for characters who weren't supposed to be a thing.
He'll get BTFO at some point in the battle and Big Mom will go for Chiffon because she's a traitor, but luffy will save her at the last second buying Bege's goodwill in the process.
Obvious Oda is obvious.
reminder that a rag tag bunch of literal whos have no chance against the experience and power of big mum
Best pairing! Incredible chemistry in the manga and great doujins!
Lets discuss why Pekoms is the shittiest character in one piece. He's like a five year old running to tell mom about everything.
Literally about ruin everything
She is going to be taken down for sure. She's a threat for everyone (especially FI and the Baratie), she is too evil to be redeemed, she's from a dead era, everyone even her own family has reason to want her dead and the story need to move on.
>still gets scared by a Pinocchio face ussopp
Her powers make her too dangerous to be near anything and is probably in solitary confinement with seastone
It's not the strawhats vs the Big Mom pirates. WB died and there was only Luffy present. You really tought the strawhats would fight the Yonkos one by one like they were Crocodile or Moria? They will only be a "small" part of Big Mom, Kaido and maybe Shanks falls. BB is the only one Luffy will defeat by himself.
>You really tought the strawhats would fight the Yonkos one by one like they were Crocodile or Moria?
No, only the first one.
I cannot see not the SH's are the first group who are taking down a Yonko.
Plus there was a big hype for Kaido.
If an another Supernova, Bege tooks down a Yonko, then the fall of the second - Kaido - won't be the ame, however he looks far stronger and invincible.
Actually, why would Pekoms tell Big Mam? Isn't she a giant cunt (metaphorically) anyway? Why wouldn't you want that walking tub of lard off the seas and in jail? What's his endgame?
>WB died and there was only Luffy presen
Yeah but it's nothing to do to th Starw Hats because wasn't Luffy the one who started the fight with that Yonko. He didn't want to take him down at that moment.
>fucking BENTO BOX
Not all of them. Have you forgotten that literally nothing intimidates Luffy and this is a significant trait to his personality?
polite sage for responding
What's next for the people who believe Big Mom will not been defeated? FI will still be in the hands of Big Mom and no, Shakky prediction is for after Raftel (ancient weapons blabla). So?
So the worst generation is set up to replace old Yonkous. Teach already took over WB territory. I'm guessing Capone will take BM's territory, and after defeating Kaidou, Luffy will give his territories to Kid or Law(probably Law, since Luffy and Samurai trust him more). But who will take Shanks out?
Here's something that I've been wondering about for a while;
What do you think the Stawhats' endgame outfits will look like? Like during the final arc what do you think they'll all wear? I know Oda is big on making them very fashionable, But what would you like them to wear?
I'd gve my left nut for a OP adaptation with decent animation and proper fucking pacing. It'd be the best shounen shown of allntime but no lets stretch 1 chapter out to 10 episodes and be worse than fucking DBZ.
Fuck that noise the Supernovas will change everything by becoming the Eight Kings of the World and expanding out of that shithole called the New World and dominating the four blues while making the Marines and Tenryubito shit their collective asses.
He's a member of the Worstgen. Why would he die? Contrarian fucks, hating on everything popular. He's not my favorite, people highly overestimate him, but he's a fine character.
Franky is also missing most of his organic bits. Brook is all bones and puns. Chopper is literally a reindeer. Zolo is missing his r's and sense of direction.
Like missing an arm is the most minor flaw ever.
His fruit, just seems retarded.
We first see that he has the ability to shamble and mix and match everything in his room ability
Then we see that he as the ability to swap personalities only to those who don't have a strong haki(?)
He then as electrical abilities cause of fruit.
Gamma radiation abilities now cause of fruit
can change the property of said person who can reform themselves at well.
The list goes on.
Does anyone have a fruit power more terrifying than Sugar's?
Sure the Logia types have massive capabilities and Teach has the potential to claim every power in existence, but I can't think of anything more crushing than being made into some gimpy toy, bound to some kid's will, and having everyone you ever knew and loved forget you even existed.
I mean, do you have proof of that claim? If not, then I have to believe all of Law's moves came from his fruit, since the attacks relate to operations and tools used in the operating room.
Pretty much this. He have a kind of androgyn face
A lot of the designs at this point feel closer to their pre-timeskip versions than their initial post-timeskip designs did. Brook's rockstar theme has been downplayed for a more gentlemanly theme again, Franky is shrinking and generally wears hairstyles closer to his pampadour, Usopp's getting lankier, Nami's wearing a little bit more than a bikini top again.
I guess they were initially designed to feel very different so they'd stand out, and now that we're well into the timeskip Oda is falling back into habit.
This chapter was a true masterpiece.
I might have a new favorite.
The perfect narrative delivery to a bath scene... The perfect excuse for Carrot to have a bath.
Truly, Oda is a genius.
The mafia stuff was okay too I guess.
i know everyone hates filler but from my perspective i think it's incredibly important to the quality of the one piece anime, and it's not like we're waiting week to week for plot development. they should really think about animating more cover stories or in-canon filler stuff, say fights that happened offscreen that won't ever get drawn or whatever. that or just take a 1-2 month hiatus each year / at the end of each arc, i know one piece has been weekly since forever but i think the people who've stuck with it this long want quality over quantity. sick digits btw
Why is East Blue full of jobbers?
Do you suggest ther wasn't a wedding ceremony?
Or just Mama does like more the wedding and cookies than hating Chiffon, so she was okay with the ceremony and did not harm Chiffon at least for once?
I guess the assumption is that if it was usable on powerhouses, Law would try switching Doffy with some mook or something like this, plus Doffy did imply that his powers in general can be negated by strong haki during the Vergo fight. Personally, I like the theory that he can only switch people with strong enough bond.
Just a tough but: I can totaly see Sanjii loosing a leg in this Arc; like during the Tea Party, Big Mom go wild and start to beat the shit out of everything and attack a character that is defenseless, she open her maw to bit him (like for example Chiffon holding pez in her arm) and Sanjii come in, kick/push the intended victim away...and get a leg bite of by BM. He end up with a temporary peg leg in a Zeff style before getting a new leg thanks to Germa and Franky-Vegapunk; with some new toy in, for example using the cooling liquid of the artificial leg to make "Cold-Hot" effect with Diable Jambe.
If he save bege familly, the guy will also be thankfull, giving one more ally to the mugiwara.
To be fair for Law, they DID have a character around that was good with stiching
Luffy having a PERMANENT blemish because of Sanji probably wouldn't have flown over that well with the rest of the crew
Never tell it wasn't. Also, pic related is definitly Sanjii end game
Can attach literally anything to anything, can attach animal limbs that are functioning, but he couldn't reattach his own arm, and Leo's and Manshelly's ability was needed.
I fucking loved Paulie, shame we'll never see him again.
Praline is just Ms. Valentine with freckles and shark teeth. And a cunt a personality wise.
Carrot brings joy and life to the crew. We already have Zoro and Robin to be edgelords.
>Oda's best looking female
Surely you jest
>fucking money-hungry whore
we've known that about her since Day 1
I-I think you're confusing me with someone e-else...
Given the amount of possibilities that someone could take on the Grand Line from what we saw with the Supernovas, those 11 or so folks possibly each taking very different paths to get to Sabaody, the Grand Line should be way bigger than that. Also that's a long as fuck journey going straight from Arlong Park to Loguetown, no way it was like that.
My dick can never touch Carrot she isn't actually real. I just think the series would be more fun if she was around for good.
Plus she has been begging to join for like 3 arcs now. And they don't need her for anything on Zuneshia.
Why would Luffy turn her away? She is joining there is no way another dude joins.
Neither do Jinbei. There's something about her. (don't give a fuck about hot manga girl and i hate furries). She's following them because she wants to live an adventure and she's loving it for now. Last chapter she was in awe while listening to stories about the world... There's no reason at all for her to not stick with the crew atfer Wano. Just Luffy saying no. but why would he refuse?
isn't that the point of a sniper?
you have a point with Jinbei, luffy could refuse, but she call pull that "I'll do whatever I want mentality" like luffy's children did.
they will have Jimbe and probably Pikomon, because he is both a furry and a devil fruit user who hasn't shown his true skills yet.
Pikomon will have some skill that they need, such as bitch boy
Up until now, every new permanent member had an important skill neccessary for a real pirate crew
- Zorro the fighter
- Nami the navigator
- Sanji the chef
- Lysop the cannoneer and sniper
- Chopper the doctor
- Franky the engineer
- Robin the archeologist
- Brook the musician
If bunny girl doesn't have a valuable skill that the crew really needs, she won't join.
You deserve a good slap.
It's cute that you think that.
Caesar the scientist soon
Reminder that Sanji and Sanjifags got EPIC btfo
Carrot the Scout. She is a scout on Zou. She is the only Strawhat who can move rapidly and actually know where she is going without getting sidetracked. With her mink senses she will be scout/lookout
Reminder that Jack and Jackfags got EPIC btfo
>Why would Luffy turn her away?
She won't even be offered a permanent position in the first place.
Carrot's just been a wacky sidekick and occasional fanservice, filling the void left by Usopp and Robin not being a part of this arc. She's done nothing to set herself apart from any other guest character, has less story than both Pedro and Pekoms, and her abilities don't bring anything new to the table. There's been practically no focus on her outside of her introduction despite being in the comic for over 50 chapters now.
She doesn't need to join the crew to set out to see anyway. There's a reason they've been associated with the samurai, who were also guest characters for a few arcs and developed a proper bond with the Straw Hats so when the time came they'd be believable allies. Zunisha is no longer a save haven for the Minks and they're now allied with pirates, they'll probably head out to sea themselves the same way the Dwarves did.
We can start seriously discussing Carrot joining once she shows any hint of a proper backstory or motivations that don't come off as a more shallow version of Chopper's dream. Until then the only character who's had any buildup to actually joining the crew is Jinbe, even though the fanbase hates him and is begging for him to die apparently.
I'm also fan of saying spy/ninja. She snuck on board without anyone's knowledge, even Luffy and his Color of Observation Haki, and was able to sneak away / hide in the shadows when Brulee caught them. She's the sneak.
I'm not. Before this chapter, this ep https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMyWxQd31aY started to wake my once again slumbering Carrotfaggotry, and this latest chapter brought it back completely.
>More shallow version of Choppers dream
Chopper didn't want to leave Luffy forced him and he is only with the crew because they are his friends not because he wants to be a pirate.
Carrots motivation of adventure is closest of anyone on the crew to Luffy himself. Luffy is going to deny a skilled fighter nakama the chance to see the world and adventure with him? Doesn't sound like Luffy.
Reminder that Cracker and Crackerfags got EPIC btfo
>Chopper didn't want to leave Luffy forced him and he is only with the crew because they are his friends not because he wants to be a pirate.
This is outright wrong.
Chopper wanted more than anything to go out to sea, see the world and be a pirate, following in Hiriluk's shoes. His character arc in Drum was about his insecurity, being so afraid of humans that he struggled to accept the fact real friends came along and liked him for who he is. The only thing holding him back in the end was feeling obligation to Kureha, who gave him her blessings even if he didn't realize it immediately.
Go reread the Drum arc if you think Chopper was forced onto the crew.
If Oda can keep Carrot in the chapters, I will be here a lot from now on!
Go reread Long Ring Long land if you think Chopper wanted to be a pirate. He left to be with his friends not to seek adventure or be a pirate. The whole Chopper Drum arc is about how Chopper was lonely. He wasn't dragged kicking and screaming, but he was going to stay and Luffy said STFU you are coming with us.
Will Pekoms alert Big Mom? I'm getting worried.
There's something way more logical and simple than that. Cabin boy like Buggy and Shanks. The hierarchy etablished in her relation with Chopper kinda foreshadow something like that.
Please Toei, change Carrot's hair color just a bit... same as Sabo's would be perfect.
You're right that he never once specifies that he specifically wanted to be a pirate. He just wanted to sail the seas with people he can call friends
But if you don't think that seeing the world and expanding his horizons aren't a part of his motivations as well then you're missing a key part of Chopper's character.
I think that Carrot's joining will be more like a Usopp's one. After the banquet at the end of Whole Cake Island adventure Carrot deep down will want to ask Luffy if she can join, but she will be afraid that Pedro would scold her. And Luffy will be like:
>Luffy: Whatcha talkin' about? Get on the ship, aren't you already in the crew?
>Carrot: Wh-Wh-whaaatt : O
>Luffy: You said you want to go on adventure and explore the seas aren't you!? How are you supposed to do that if not on ship? Shishi-shi-shi.
>Carrot will burst in to tears
>Dramatic close-up on Strawhats smiling faces
... And then she will give this full of tears happy-sad look to Pedro, and he'll also starts to laugh and he'll tell her to cheer up, and go for dream and that he'll explain everything in Zou.
carrot is fun. If she wasn't a furry she'd be one of the best characters in the manga
>The hierarchy etablished in her relation with Chopper
you know if she joins it'll end up that she'll be seencarrying away chopper who has just had a huge fight and is almost dead, while she managed to give the last hit to the Big eemy of the arc.
And so she'll get a ridiculously huge bounty while Chopper will be assumed to be her pet
Carrot is clean see>>154417957
Besides she isn't actually a rabbit. She is a person with rabbit features. The minks said minks and humans are the same humans are just furless minks.
tbph the discussions about a potential new strawhat have been going on for years but no one has ever seemed as convincing as Carrot. In many ways she already seems part of the crew, she's a natural fit.
>Calls me a furfag for wanting to fuck the mink
>Wants to fuck the rabbit more
She doesn't really seem to be much better candidate than Kin'nemon in PH, before Dressrosa happened and everyone knew he wasn't joining. Besides, she isn't really getting more focus than Pedro. If she was to join now, wouldn't she at least be strictly main Mink in this arc?
I like Carrot too, but you're setting yourselves up for disappointment.
She is the mink who asked if she could join and then snuck on the ship and joined anyway when Luffy didn't give her an answer.
She self joined the crew already. They would have to forcibly kick her off the ship to get her to leave now.
Carrot is the same exact bullshit as Perona, Camie, Bonney, Monet, Viola and Rebecca. To the point where everyone tries to place her as the lookout or cabin boy, which seem to be the go-to positions for people speculated to join the crew but don't really have a role to fill.
The only legitimate crew member options since Brook have been Mr. 2, who wasn't joining just by virtue of sharing a voice actor with Franky, and Jinbe, who's legitimately in the process of joining.
It's foreshadowing. There is a specific reason Oda zoomed in close and darkened on Carrot's face in this instance.
We don't know what her background is yet but it SOMEHOW is similar to Chiffon's relationship with Big Mom. It is possible Carrot and her parents do not have a good relationship either, the zoom-in here may indicate Carrot similarly cares nothing for her parents. Why is the question but perhaps it ties into Wano somehow when we get there.
>implying the Beast Pirates won't roll in with a Calamity or two looking for payback on Zou
>implying they weren't following their Vivre card looking for the elephant but it actually led them to where the card's owner had moved to
>implying the vivre card Kaidou's crew uses doesn't belong to
>Does not respect authority
>Does as she pleases
>Is a goofy and has her own gimmick jokes
>Is close with Chopper and Nami the two who are easily most likely to push for someone to join
I shit on everyone saying Monet/Jinbe/Perona would join. Then only two people I can truly see joining the crew are Caesar and Carrot.
And Oda said multiple crew members are going to join at once at the end of this arc. Most likely it will be Carrot and Caesar.
>yfw there are so few screencaps and fanart of carrot that the same twenty images are circulated every thread, and people pretend like it's the same person posting it over and over
Every time Caesar appears the fact that the crew hates his guts and doesn't give a single shit about what happens to him is reinforced.
A guy who kidnapped, drugged and did life threatening experiments on young children, and tried to murder everyone multiple times with chemical weapons, is not joining our ragtag gang of heroes.
Caesar is dead af in anyone else besides the Strawhats hands. When it comes down to it they aren't going to leave him to die. That is too cold for them after as long as he has been around and all they have put him through already.
it's not that i have anything against him joining, it's just...
caesar = buggy. literally, there are so many parallels between their interactions with the crew, jesus christ they're both clowns for fucks sake
>the sheer quantity of Carrotfags
I think that she's a nice character to have around during this arc, but why are you fags so obsessed?
No, fuck Caesar, he's been around for longer than fucking Vivi, do you really like Caesar more than Vivi? Do you really thinks that Caesar deserves his place in the crew more than Vivi?
Just drop him off at the minks, or in Bege's hand or Law's or have the WG shows up and kidnap him to bring him to Vegapunk, I don't give a shit, I just don't want to see the fuck anymore after this arc ends.
>When it comes down to it they aren't going to leave him to die.
They handed him over to Big Mom without a second thought and told him he dug his own grave when he started complaining. Not a single person on the crew has sympathy for him, and characters like Nami and Chopper certainly aren't going to let him on after what he did to Mocha.
If he doesn't stay with Bege's crew they'll dump him on Buggy or leave him in Vegapunks hands.
I think Buggy honestly=Whitebeard
He is Luffy's ultimate rival senpai. After Luffy whips everyone else, Buggy will be there, and even after Luffy dies Buggy will be there. And what is Buggy's true strength? His adoring crew who he loves despite how he acts.
This is true. The Pirate God will be in the epilogue with Brook.
I want the Impel down team to be reunited for this arc. Why would they be invited?
> Crocodile: obvious underworld ties
> Buggy: obvious underworld ties
> Ivankov can invite himself to the wedding because it's the wedding of his padawan.
Maybe Boa Hancok too for some reason. Girly friendship/rivalry with Big Mom and want to see Luffy?
Not him but Vivi gets way too much shit from the fanbase. She was pretty fun during the Baroque Works saga, especially as Ms. Wednesday and in Rain Base where she tried to behead Crocodile.
It's like people remember her for that one scene after Pell sacrificed himself where she finally broke down and started crying.
>Big Mom will awaken her DF and gather all the souls
>Instead of pulling a Moriah she puts all the souls into the delicious wedding cake
>Wedding cake is final boss
when i called alabasta the best arc, a fag thought i was talking about the anime. these threads are garbage in terms of people being fans of one piece, even arlong park destroys it in terms of quality and people with good judgment
>big mom has the soul fruit right just bring their soul back
could she actually do this? Like, if someone JUST died in front of her and she could see their soul leaving their body, could she grab it and put it into another vessel like Brooke's fruit?
