-The girl who was summoned to another world with her friend by mistake, her friend being the real holy maiden (translations finished i think)

Is actually moderately pretty. Why does this happen? Sometimes you get a plain look, but more often than not in shoujo, the fem mc are too pretty. At least give em freckles and not so much of a refined face. That goes for shoujo isekai like that yuusha maid one where the ikemen hero proposes to the maid.
