I felt like the middle portion where she went around beating on the level 2 people and the get to school early thing were unnecessary. The budget would have been better allocated with a little less time spent on makos family and a bit more on the elite 4. Honestly this wasn't a bad show but I think it could have been better if the directors focused more on animation instead of its lackluster story.
