So, who are 2 new E10 members? Frankly, just some random people who used to be below E10 tier would be kind of underwhelming at this point; maybe somebody from outside the school Aizen brought?
Kuga will get his rematch against Tsukasa (in fact i predict someone else will volounteer first, but he will ask to have a go instead), but will lose again, albeit just barely.
I expect Kuga to do better than Isshiki. If they would have used Isshiki to help Souma back in the Pajeet match then I would have thought differently. Kuga already lost when he was a first year, he can't keep losing.
What's gonna happen to her once Central is kicked off? The rest will change their ideals again like the sheep they are, but she has a significant role that she may not maintain
The ending is so clear at this point
>soma can't lose because mc
>Kuga will get his revenge
>Rindou is the real first seat like Dojima and Soma's dad
It's who will Tsukasa beat first? maybe Megishima or Isshiki to make it look like he's the final boss
Another betrayal incoming.
We get to see pic related again.
I am kinda disappointed we know absolutely nothing about Megishima. We only saw him during that Autumn ceremony and once after that, but now he is an ally and we are supposed to root for him... It's hard to do when he barely appeared before, he feels just as shallow and unknown as those two new members of E10. Maybe he could have supported Souma during his shokugeki with Hayama instead of Kuga? I really like Kuga, but we already got the chance to know him and he was already quite developed. Sure, those interactions with Souma were entertaining and turned into nice friendship, but I feel like Megishima needed that screentime much more. Now he is literally who - the character. And we are supposed to feel hyped to him...
So round one is Souma+Isshiki+Megishima vs Jobber1+Jobber2+Nene and assuming they win (which seems to be almost certain because of plot conventions) what other matchups do you guys wanna see?
I'm guessing Kuga vs Tsukasa rematch (Tsukasa wins), Giganigga vs Eizan (Eizan wins), Erina vs Momo (Erina wins) and Takumi and Megumi vs Rindou actual match (Rindou Wins)
Then from that I'm betting:
Isshiki vs Tsukasa (Isshiki goes 100% and upsets Tsukasa)
Souma vs Eizan rematch (Souma wins again)
Megishima vs Rindou (Rindou Wins)
and then for the finale Souma, Erina and Isshiki vs 100% serious mode Rindou
>white in the hair
>red around the waist
She can't lose.
Also confirmed by Chaptcha she is the best grill.
>I'm guessing Kuga vs Tsukasa rematch (Tsukasa wins)
Nice. I would like this.
>Giganigga vs Eizan (Eizan wins)
Giga nigga will be OP as fuck. He's the only one they can PLOT HAX into some strong enough to beat Tsukasa. He just needs to perfect trace someone strong like Tsukasa, Jou, or Gin to win.
>He just needs to perfect trace someone strong like Tsukasa, Jou, or Gin to win.
I don't think thats gonna happen, if anything his new technique might be to incorporate multiple techniques from better chefs that somehow work in harmony.
Also I forgot about Somei, I guess Takumi, Megumi and Erina will face him and Momo first and win.
Remember Rindou being confused about the super huge third year that Hayama defeated?
He's not going to let anyone touch his food. And he's going to lose. They all will. because it's a last man standing thing. For one team to win the entire other team has to lose. So yes, Tsukasa is losing her, as is Rindou. Accept this and move on.
Their graduation gift will be losing their seats.
Azami always look to me like he is trying really hard to see.
>He's not going to let anyone touch his food. And he's going to lose.
I wonder if Rindou is doing all this shit to get tsukasa in some kind of ridiculous situation so he loosens the fuck up
The current gag in the manga now seems to make Eizan's life miserable. He will get cucked.
Either by Gigganigga or even Takumi since Eizan literally took away from him his rematch with Souma too, it will be pottery.
>The current gag in the manga now seems to make Eizan's life miserable
I disagree, I think he will pull an early upset showing off his true strength and then like in the first shokugeki with Souma he'll overlook something important and lose again.
Also depending on if the manga continues to year 2 I can see him becoming the main villain once Tsukasa and Rindou graduate and ErinaDad fucks off for good.
I can't see Eizan and Giganigga NOT having a match from a narrative standpoint. In the election match Eizan has a throwaway line about how nobody would ever hire giganigga which is probably the dumbest and most ignorant thing he's said because the tracing shit would be such a valuable asset in a professional kitchen it's not even funny.
I dont get this 3 on 3 shit? How does this actually work?
also surely there is a suprise on the way right? Noway are Isshi and Ramen guy jobbing and Souma never loses official matches. Where exactly is the tension here?
Why the fuck did Tsukuda match up the MC with the two strongest members on his team against the two new E10 recruits who are obviously going to be the weakest and a mid tier E10 in Nene? What the fuck? You could have at least dropped one of Ramen/Isshiki and added one of the weak links to make it seem more fair.
This sure is exciting ! Can't wait !
>2 Jobbers and the highest ranked (strongest?) Second Year
>Against the 3rd highest ranked student, the second highest ranked 2nd year and the MC
What is Central even trying to do here? They don't have to throw out Rindou or Tsukasa first thing of course, but at least make a balanced starting move for fucks sake, swap one of the jobbers for Eizen or Momo or Sword to even out the powerlevel curve. Instead of this "throw away the first round" bullshit
Yeah it literally makes no fucking sense. If the new E10 are just throwaway hype fodder for Isshiki and Ramen at least pair them with Eizen who we are all sick of by now.
Typical Tsukuda, always fucking up promising dwvelopments.
>not wanting to hear Sugita go full ham when the anime catches up
G I G A N I G G A I S M Y N I G G A
ROLL QUADS TO STOP HIM. DOUBLES GIVES HIM MORE ARMS
Memes aside, I wonder who he's going to copy. I don't think it'll be Tsukasa since he's too good or Rindou since she seems more like the spontaneous type. Maybe Eizan so he gets btfo again.
I'm still curious as to who he was talking to on the phone
they are only first years
we are a long way from a kiss
Tell me more, can it satisfy her?
Are we not going to discuss this motherfuckers lips?
There's nothing wrong with Soma himself, but yea, too much of him isn't good for the reader.
Especially since other characters are actually going through character arcs.
I think once this arc is over and Soma gets the main focus back and get some distinct arc, he'll climb back up.
>Nene is going out in the first match so that's a nope
>Yun and Crazy Blondie are probably gonna follow Nene to show Isshiki's and Megishima's strength
>Giganigga vs Momo would probably end up being too creepy so they won't go there
>Tsukasa and Rindou are too strong for Giganigga to take down
That leaves Eizan and Salmon Guy
If he ends up beating anyone, it's probably gonna be Eizan
Since we already know the results of the 1st match who else will job in the 1st round? My bets on Kuga/mohawk and Giganiga/Megumi/takumi
She has already done it
>Is this worth reading if I'm into cooking?
>I mean why is that guy holding a sword?
It's not a sword, it's a Maguro bōchō
Kill the other 2
This has to be the arc with the greatest amount of characters involved at the same time in this manga's history.
How many chapters do you think it will took to finish this?
And who do you think will be in the last match?
PD: Let's hype things up with this versus that I did.
I'm pretty sure the election had more, with also having like 16 in the prelims, plus it had a whole lot of judges, including alumni. And there was the other emcee girl besides Urara, Yua.
>how nobody would ever hire giganigga which is probably the dumbest and most ignorant thing he's said
I thought he said that because at that point Giga only cared about winning more than cooking, and that's an attitude that wouldn't get you hired in any restaurant.
Bout 1 - 3v3
Souma vs Nene: Souma
Isshiki vs J1: Isshiki
Megishima vs J2: Megishima
Bout 2 - 5v5
Erina vs Saitou: Erina
Giga vs Eizan: Giga
Takumi vs Momo: Momo
Megumi vs Rindou: Rindou
Kuga vs Tsukasa: Tsukasa
Can't predict the rest without doing some weird shit.
>it somehow ends up in a tie after the judges can't decide between Souma+Erina and Tsukasa+Rindou
>Jouichirou shows up and challenges Azami directly
>Jouichirou and by extension the rebels win
>Azami fucks off into the sunset
>none of the current Elite 10 lose their seats since it was a tie
>status quo is maintained
>Souma is somehow still the underdog so the readers can relate
>next arc begins
Last match has to be a 2vs2 between Souma/Erina vs Tsukasa/Rindou.
Erina will go completely Yukihira mode, and she will do some crazy out-of-recipe thing in front of Azami's face. It'll be glorious.
why is modern shonen jump low energy?
That's really solid theory. Souma will be Elite 10 next year when all the 3rd graduate, but he'll be salty because he couldn't obtain his seat by beating an Elite 10.
And, of course, Erina will be first seat. In fact, I can see Souma conforming with 2nd seat because he wouldn't challenge her girlfriend and future wife.
Erina's hairstyle is so ugly from the front. Just brush it down and remove the hair sideburns.
I honesty want Erina to take the first seat after they win but then again I predict that Erina chooses to be the 10th seat again since she previously was 10th and that's what she feels fits her more and she would want to earn the first seat with her own strength and not by picking. I would also like for Soma to change his mind of choosing the first seat and become the 10th since he would also like to earn the rights to be the first seat just like Erina which causes the both of them to fight over who becomes the 10th seat as a comic relief and a shipful moment for the both of them
It's a curly version of the hime cut, you're retarded.
Well, Souma's father was just 2nd seat regardless of his skills and ambitions. Souma will understand that eventually. Seats are just a number.
Anyway, I was just kidding, but It'd be fun to see Souma being bossed around by Erina.
She got fifth in the latest poll so obviously.
Just wait when 2nd year begins and Megumi gets a design power up, acording to her confident self as an elite 10.
It'll be full of megumifags.
>Alice is just not going to fuck one worst boy but two.
How do you feel about this.
>Just wait when 2nd year begins and Megumi gets a design power up, acording to her confident self as an elite 10.
>It'll be full of megumifags.
Can we all agree that this is the best ship
>Erina realizes feelings for Souma and lets go of her childhood crush on Jouichirou
>Leaving her former life being controlled by her father and her former love, she cuts her hair
Give me one good reason why this won't happen.
Well, I can see Erina going wild after this arc. She was completely adoctrinated all her life, and now the chains finally broke.
It wouldn't be weird if she cut her hair, and even seeing her cooking with the same silly faces as Souma, while she creates new things and explore cooking as a happy kid.
Eizan said that Subaru's lack of respect would keep him from getting hired. Japanese chefs are super heavy on respect, stuff like spitting on a knife would get him instantly fired from pretty much every kitchen.
Same. It's interesting and has some plot potential to become even more. We might learn something about Souma's mom or Jouichirou's lineage.
The one thing about setting up team matches is that for once soma may lose, and it doesn't matter as long as the rebels are winning.
In fact, i expect Erina to be the last one standing, and will win by going full jouichirou on her cooking
The team up is inevitable at this point. And it would be nice to see, their relationship is hilarious.
Fuck marry kill elite 10 men edition
Men deserve some love to people
Alright here's what we know so far
>2 new elites exist only to job and to hype up Isshiki and Megishima
>Souma obviously won't lose in the first round
>Giganigga gets trashed by someone and Takumi takes revenge for him, thus surpassing him without the need for a rematch
>Kuga gets his rematch and jobs to Tsukasa
>Megishima loses to either Rindou or Tsukasa
>Isshiki goes all out and impresses everyone, possibly taking out Tsukasa or Rindou
>Finale is Tsukasa or Rindou vs Souma and Erina which they will obviously win
The hypest shit would be if Erina and Souma lost but then Rindou announced that she was going to join the rebels and duel Tsukasa right then and there.
Well, she didn't love Jou, so there's that.
Jou left because he had a nervous breakdown.
I'm reasonably certain that would violate the agreement and give Azami the win by default. If Rindou was going to switch sides, her window closed. She would have to have done what Erina did.
>This is an innocent and pure girl!
PURE and INNOCENT....
It's too sad, i love Kuga, and i really like that he got a spot on this showdown, but there is no way he can avoid losing on the first match. Out of the ones on the rebel group he's the one that has less of a story to carry.
At most he'll get a nice moment assisting someone else, like he did with Soma vs spice.
She is a person who worries and is considerated of others and not just because they are hot. Truly an angel.
The only plausible way for Erina and Souma to win against Rindou and Tsukasa is if Rindou gets pissed at Tsukasa and subtly sabotages the match or their styles clash really hard. The latter scenario could be made into one of those food tasting scenes with the dragon scaring away the wild animals that were drawn to Tsukasa.
>Erina and Souma vs Tsukasa and maybe Rindou for final match
>Power of friendship and w/e other shounen shit
>Things start getting resolved
>Decide to distribute the seat order
>Since the venue is set already, Erina or Souma challenge the other to a Shokugeki for 1st seat right there
>Goes straight into another X chapters for their match for 1st seat.
>The hypest shit would be if Erina and Souma lost but then Rindou announced that she was going to join the rebels and duel Tsukasa right then and there.
>Isshiki goes all out and impresses everyone, possibly taking out Tsukasa or Rindou
That might make this arc interesting. We all know they're going to win somehow.
I don't think Erina and Souma will instantly catapult to the top like that. Souma will get a seat and Erina will get promoted but the older elites will probably take the top seats.
I agree that Isshiki will take down someone strong but I think Rindou is more plausible. Tsukasa is the one most strongly aligned with the Azami administration's values and Souma needs to settle the score with him anyway. Tsukasa being the final boss makes the most thematic sense.
While they're all pretty good, I'll keep my waifu, thank you.
>Wait, holy shit. You mean this is actual knife?
Yeah its used for cutting large tuna
I left out curry because he isn't going to get a seat so soon after he was part of central.
So Megumi, Takumi and probably Mimasaka spent the last month training under Jou, Doujima and Senzaemon. Will Hisako, Alice, Kurokiba or Hayama be relevant ever again?
Honestly, this might as well be the final arc, given the power gap.
Wait, what about 2nd years? Almost all elite are 3rd don't they? And rebels are first, but what about 2nd, there is some 2nd year? I can't remember.
The more logical thing is to expect that once thirds graduate, some 2nd year will took the first seats, but it doesn't seem likely. Looks like the elite ten will be full first year if they win.
That hits home way harder than I thought.
For that reason I see 3rd seat minimum for her. It's entirely possible she'd get 2nd with Megishima above her allowing her to one up her dad, and then be 1st in second year since Megishima will graduate, matching Azami there since he was 1st seat in his second year.
Anyone who is participating here is going to be in seats 1-8. So anyone else who gets a seat is going to get 9 or 10.
probably not, since he was taking the regular exams the last time we saw him.
On the rebel side, Isshiki and Kuga are second years. On Central's side, Nene and Eizan are second years.
We don't know about the two new jobbers yet, but they are probably third years.
So that makes highly probable that the new king will be Isshiki, at least for a whole year until he graduates or Souma beats him.
I can't see Kuga being higher than Erina so things will go like this next year:
10.- Some expeled Polar star, dog, Hisako or Alice.
>It's entirely possible she'd get 2nd with Megishima above her allowing her to one up her dad, and then be 1st in second year since Megishima will graduate, matching Azami there since he was 1st seat in his second year.
This makes the most sense, so Isshiki will be the guaranteed 3rd seat.
That's under the assumption that Nene and Eizen will be allowed back after defecting.
Hayama might have a spot since he was a member, even if it was under Central's conrtol at the time. I don't see the two new ones coming back unless they really flesh them out and they're not 3rd years. Maybe Nene will have a change of heart after her match with Souma and gets invited back. I don't see Eizen coming back, considering everyone knows how he operates and they would probably make sure he doesn't join.
Yes, probably something like that. Remember this panel?
If that's the case Nene and Eizan will be just below all the challengers. They haven't resigned to their seats, they'll be just below the rebels, and Megashima graduates so they will use just seven seats, 8th and 9th are available for them.
For sure she wants him to tone down the autism, yeah.
Since it's not long to graduation now, hopefully his defeat will open him up.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to Nene and Eizan in their third years. Their achievements should still be high enough to be considered for seats, but they also fucked up badly. They could always challenge for seats, but as always, the seat holder has to accept the bet.
Since they will be the new E10 they would make a valentine's event, right? RIGHT?
How can she manage to have this supermodel figure if she's a gluttony?
Oh, you mean the canon one?
Because she also wants to homewreck Souma and Erina's relationship. She is a double timing slut.
Soma and Isshiki will both win 100% since Soma is a the MC and Isshiki is a pretty popular character who is having his first battle
I'm worried about Megishima though as the author could very well throw him under the bus to hype up the newbies and Megishima doesn't have that popularity nor main character status to save him
Souma, Erina, Takumi and Megumi have to win, if not all that special training will mean nothing.
Megishima, Gigganigga and Kuga are going to lose, and the winning factor will be Isshiki. That's 5 vs 3.
We don't understand all the details of the match format but considering Souma and Erina have plot armor and they will certainly win. It's time for Takumi and Megumi to also shine, they always lose everything.
Megumi a cute
If Yuto cucks Megumi of winning once then for sure he doesn't like her and it'll be funny to see the rants from the Megufags but if he allows her to win once then lose after then it's expected.
>then for sure he doesn't like her
He would tweet about how cute her and Erina were in the anime + she's always featured alongside Erina and Souma on special CPs/covers for JUMP. You're delusional to think that he doesn't like her.
>pony tail rindou
I never knew it wanted this
Get the fuck outta here speedreader
to be fair, that arc had a lot of lewd potential
>have a similar laid-back personality.
That'd be more indicative of being raised in similar environments and/or by similar parents than having the /same/ parents. I don't disagree, though.
>yfw megumi beat the sword guy in a seafood battle
It seems like it's January. Tsukasa and Rindou will graduate in early March. They are leaving soon enough no matter what.
That's not to say they can't show up again as alumni, but yeah.
>What is Central even trying to do here?
Good old move with "they are trash so we don't need to fight them in full force" if Azami cared about winning he would've been fighting them himself all at once.
>akumi and Megumi have to win, if not all that special training will mean nothing.
This + 2v2 final. Holy shit you guys want everything.
This happening and a 2v2 final can't happen without some major job like megishima losing to the new jobber or souma/erina having 3 matches.
Since we know how it started (3v3) and how you want to end (2v2), its not hard to speculate how the rest of matches go if you assume everyone has to participate at least once.
Now try doing this yourself to see how hard it sounds without putting some 1v2s or 2v3s.
>shitty giga is on the team
>best girl is forgotten
We seen Urara but what about the other announcer girl?
No, she's in the manga as well
She's the Cutest except she's not actually that cute
I haven't read in forever, why the fuck aren't Spice Indian, Albino4Lyfe, or her rabid pet dog in this?
Good to see Nudist Beach finally getting some action, though.
Considering Azami apparently has the ability to brainwash the common man into the motherfucking Red Guard over the course of a few weeks, the man should've just gone for Prime Minister and enacted his changes from Tokyo's administration.
>obviously meant to be transparent
