Pekoms is being treated by the Sun Pirates in the Eastern Bay.
He is worrying whether Jinbe told BM about what Bege is planning.
Aladine and Praline have been advising him to take it easy, but Pekoms felt suspicious about a figure that came into the bay in the middle of the night carrying cargo and attempted to go to BM but was stopped by the Sun Pirates.

Chopper meets with Luffy and Sanji at Bege's hideout and takes a bath at Monster Gun Vito's request. Vito recounts how his boss does not want to meet with dirty folks.

Switches to a Nami and Carrot bathing scene.
Nami discusses with Lola's twin about her meeting Lola.
Her twin recounts about the day where BM became hated by the world's giants, where Lola was proposed to by Elbaf's prince Loki. With the bad blood with the giants being wiped away and gaining the army of the famous Elbaf, the strongest kingdom in the world, Big Mom cried tears of joy.

However, Lola ran away, and BM gave up trying to befriend the giants and began research into giantification. Since they are like peas in a pod, Lola's twin thought that she would suffer badly as well because of this and would be killed one day.

3 hours and 30 minutes till the tea ceremony.
After Luffy and the others finish their bathing, they begin their meeting and discussion with Bege, but for some reason Ceaser appears at the meeting.
Bege has gotten his hands on Ceasar's heart and helped him run away, making him one of his subordinates.

The meeting becomes hectic, but everyone shouts "NO!" to the question of whether they like Jinbe's boss BM. Jinbe declares that everyone here is an ally, and that they are here to seek a temporary alliance.

Luffy: "What's the plan!?"
Bege: "We're coming up with a flawless one."
Ceasar: "Let's do this quickly! It ends here!"

Now Luffy could use his body like a rubberband or blow string. As for how he could augment the force of his attacls he would have to compress his elastic arm then release it, thus way the limb would go in a direction wanted. The force gets stronger the longer you can stretch and release but also means Luffy can only attack in a straight line. I think i was 2nd year in highschool when top espada+aizen vs gotei 13 and graduate before the event finished. Not arc, event.

One piece is a long ass manga, true. But pacing wise, it's been on fast foward for quite some time. It's just had tons of contents to go through per arc.

In this arc alone we have,

>Sanji dealing with big mom threat,
>Sanji try to keep luffy away.

>the crew trying to find sanji,
>the crew trying to steal poneglyph
>Big mom crew hunting luffy crew

>and now luffy conspiring to ruin the wedding with bege

I think i still missed several plots in this single arc. Oda do have problem with controlling the contents of an arc which resulting with long ass arc just so oda could clear or finish every single plot introduced started in the arc.

I remember an sbs that Eneis Lobby that you read is actually cut short. The rough draft is longer complete with CP9 member backstory. Yes, that several years long arc you read is the short version.

I'm not against ordering the series in arcs but I think with how Oda's stories work it's better to think of moments. Like highs/lows, even within single arcs. In general the absolute best moments are at the start when everything's getting set-up and we discover a new place, and at the end when the climax comes in and every plot thread gets tied. Oda's middle sections have always been a weak point of his imo, even in Alabasta which has the best one, it doesn't compare to the finale.

How do Pirates return to 'Paradise' from the new world? Is there another Sabaody on the other side somewhere, or does the coating just last forever. No one seems to have a problem going back any time they want. Whitebeards entire fleet goes to Marineford, and Pekoms came down to FI to demand sweets for BM.

Every executive had some ridiculous devil fruit power as their crutch. Sugar's ability put the whole island under an illusion, Trebol got through fights by passing himself off as a Logia even though he was actually a Paramecia, Pica had his shape shifting golem powers, Diamante made good use of his flag abilities and didn't touch haki once. The final battle was Doflamingo with his awakened devil fruit abilities versus Luffy using a new gear, and Law's Ope Ope powers were a major plot device. Multiple side characters like Violet, Bartolomeo and Leo had devil fruits as well, and their fighting styles are built around them.

Haki is still around but it's very understated outside of fighting logias.
