In Rebuild, Asuka is a tsundere. She holes herself off from others playing video games and is grumpy to people at school, even Hikari.

Compare that to the Anime, where she plays nice and friendly with everyone and always seems outgoing. Yes, it's a facade, because she desires attention and validation, but it's not the actions of a tsundere.
