It's name is___
>>154243374
Mirai nikki
>>154243374
The name is literally in the picture.
It's good even in chinkrip form
gonna see it next month in a theatre proper
How can it be the highest grossing anime film of all time yet lose so much awards? Spirited Away won everything by the way.

Because awards are meaningless and over time have gotten pretty political.
That said, Shinkai himself doesn't like Kimi No Na Wa. If I'm not mistaken he said himself that it was rushed and the team had run out of both time and money before they felt it was finished.

I'm not sure where they could have expanded on it any further, it already felt a bit overdone as it was, particularly with that long fakeout section at the end.

I agree. If there was any movie that needed expanding, it'd be Garden of Words. The relationship between the two protagonists doesn't really feel like it organically builds up. There's a slow start and then it suddenly escalates. Fifteen minutes extra to further develop their relationship would put the movie at a reasonable 60 minute mark and make the climax feel a bit more deserved. Not that I can watch it without crying.
The fact that Yukino had a side role in Kimi no Na Wa means that she might return in a later movie that 'concludes' the Garden of Words love story? It's also pretty bad of me that when I saw the fakeout in Kimi no Na Wa, I actually believed it and it led me to believe "does this mean Yukino is dead too?"

>Shinkai himself doesn't like Kimi No Na Wa.
He never said he did not like it, ust said he did not get 100% as he wanted, something that happens to all the directors.
How can I deny it if I haven't even seen the movie?
