Worldbuilding like this makes SAO look like a shitty, self-insert fanfic (which it totally is). I don't play RPGs, and even I can tell that SAO is full of shit. when this is just their life, people are more obligated to make things work and go with the system. they can't just quit the game, or make a new character and move on.
