Was this part of Griffith's plan? Or was killing Adonis just an accident?
Part of Guts not understanding the concept of "stealth".

Accident. We never saw Griffith recalling any plan or some sort of scheme that he needs to kill that kid. It's an accident.
>>154224114
>randomly wandering kid
>part of the plan
It was an accident, obviously.
>>154224240
But then wouldn't Adonis be the next in line? Griffith could never become king with Adonis alive.
It doesn't really matter now since the Eclipse but still.
>>154224114
It wasn't part of his plant but he didn't give a shit either way
>>154224297
Can't remember what happened in that arc. But even before the night they executed the plan there's no mention of that kid. I think they just want to kill his father(?can't recall) because he is a bad guy. That's it.
Killing the kid was an accident. Bad luck for him. But also because of the stupidity of Guts because he can't go stealth properly.
>>154224114
Is this /tv/ shitposting, or are you actually retarded?
>>154224297
Whoever married the Princess had the right to be the next king, other bloodlines didn't mattered that much. Griffith killed Adonis because he knew he was trying to bed the princess.
did no one read the manga
>>154224297
Griffith killed the guy because he didn't want to risk another murder attempt by him.
>>154224114
Lord Adonis! You are gonis!
>>154224816
And adonis was set to marry the princess.
>>154224114
Death solves all problems - no man, no problem.
>>154224114
Oh yeah almost forgot about this.
Hard to keep the "griffith did nothing wrong" meme up, when you realise he chose Guts for a stealthy mission like that.
>>154226809
WW1 started because of a death. So it doesn't solve everything it seems.
>>154227004
it did solve the problems of those who died
>>154227004
>WW1 started because of a death.
LoL.
If you want war you can use any method, in that case death was just the trigger not the main reason.
>>154226899
Should have send Jewdawg to throw a knife at him. On the other hand, the other guys might have felt uncomfortable about such a mission and failed due to the lack of mental fortitude. Not like Guts was completely okay with dirty work, but he's reliable enough to see it through (even though he was being passive aggressive when signing up for it).
>>154227004
>WW1 started because of a death
lmoa
>>154224297
No, because Adonis is only the king's nephew. If the king and Charlotte died then it would pass to his father and himself. Guts was just supposed to kill the father because he was a political enemy (and also because he tried to kill Griffith).
>>154226899
He didn't pick Guts because he was the most capable (that would almost certainly be Judeau), but because he "owned" Guts, whereas the other Hawks followed Griffith because they idolized him. If he allowed them to know about his dirty business, it might have caused their loyalty to falter.
>>154227558
Adonis was supposed to marry charlotte, so even if Julius died, the marriage was still supposed to happen. That's obviously an obstacle in Griffith's plan.
Do you think that if Griffith had actually faked an apology and thrown himself at the King's mercy, he'd have gotten away with it?
>>154227752
No.
>>154227752
Almost definitely not but he might not have been tortured quite so severely
>>154227752
The king wanted to fuck his own daughter, would you forgive the man that cucked you from that royal poon?
