Pic related, just finished Blade of The Immortal and it was a blast, final fight not as much, but the wrap up and how unconventional it was (or seemed) really got the tears going.

I have, i though i tried way too hard to be as dark and depressing toward the end, with end up cheapening up the drama.
Bokurano was much better.

I always thought the ending of Mushishi was a perfect fit for what the series was. It didn't leave you wanting anything and it even helped to mitigate that 'just finished a series' feeling.

I don't know if I liked the BotI ending because the translation was so terrible it was practically impossible to understand what was going on in the epilogue.
