honestly this, at first during S1 plenty of people, myself included dreaded the fact that FUCKING DEEN of all studios got Konosuba and made it so full of QUALITY. But since then they've proved through Rakugo and Konosuba that they're competant and like the above anons said, the quality moments where the characters are off model really fit in with the show's overall mood and atmosphere. It's endearing. See: saggy tits, or S2 overall. Pretty sure S2 was more off model than S1 and I love it
Another point of interest, the thumbs up mohawk guy is an anime only character and he's great. Also I'm a firm believer that if any other studio had picked up Konosuba, it wouldn't be as good as it is now. See: the succubus episode.

It's actually good animation. The characters are always off-model, but they're constantly expressive ad in motion. It doesn't make for pretty screencaps, but it's actual animation unlike what 90% of other TV anime have.
