This. Saiyans were presented as a bunch of battle autists who only stopped murdering to eat, sleep, and train. Gine seems like the exact opposite kind of person that would grow up in a setting like that, let alone the kind of person you'd find ideal to marry.

On a similar note, it's weird that they keep trying to push for Bardock as a hero when he's not really. He just happened to be in opposition to the biggest asshole in the universe.
