Well, yeah overall Tsukihime is darker than FSN, but Hisui true is more sad than overall dark. Kohakus endings are darker but feel a little incomplete to me.

Well Sakura's ending had hopeful elements even if Sakura was kinda going mad, and for me, it was better than Hisui True, because Sakura literally tried to rework herself by herself, people get hung up on the fact that she missed Shirou and didn't know how to handle things, but she pretty much did self-therapy, took an apprentice, and relearned magic, slowly becoming integrated with society again.

Plus Rin's granddaughter being her apprentice and having her die in front of her almost makes it Shirou and Kiritsugu part 2, which makes it sadder.

Hisui True was sad, but it was more because it was such a shame that Kohaku broke like she did and everyone was just retarded, so it didn't hit home as much as say, Akiha's endings, those hurt much worse.
