I do like some of the story elements. For example, the Krillin focused episode where he had to face all of the people who killed him and he called out Goku was probably my favorite episode in the Super series so far because of the character development. The fact that non-Saiyan characters in general are slowly getting more spotlight is a plus. However, the actual fight choreography is abysmal except for a few rare moments here and there.

Gave us new information about how Kaioshin and Beerus are two sides of the same coin, exposition on the angels and their positions in the universe, gave us early exposure to what other kaioshin are like outside of the ones we know, gave at least 1 of the Pilaf gang members a more serious role in the story, etc.
