Alright, here's the update. I know it looks a bit rough but I figure I can always go back and make it look pretty later.

Scavengers didn't make it on here because I want the arc to come to an end first. I moved the top parts of magic up a bit, so there is a bit of a vacuum in the middle part. I'm planning to scale the middle and bottom tiers up accordingly so that we have more room to work with in the future. I also made a couple of other adjustments, but before I went crazy with it, I wanted feedback first. And on a positive note, I figured out a way to reduce the file size changes per update, so the chart is no longer in danger of getting too big on subsequent updates.

For now I'm going to go take care of a few errands. I'll check back later though. As always, if I forgot something or you have suggestions, let me know about it and I'll do my best to accommodate.

I don't think we can place Aiwass above the magic gods without more evidence to his abilities, they all called him a failure after all and Aleister managed to beat the gods without him, using a spell specifically meant to do so, but even then only after they nerfed themselves. Aleister might be better but we don't really have a good judge and Aiwass hasnt shown much.

It's similar to making tier lists in fighting games. A bottom level can beat a top level under certain conditions, but the tiers are calculated under the assumption that 2 equally skilled players fight each other. Ranks are determined by data accumulated through match ups. Just because powerlevels aren't as straight forward as DBZ, doesn't mean you cant generally rank them.

Personally I gauge it based on match ups on who is in the same line as the character I'm looking at.

Example: I can see Stiyl having relatively even matches (roughly 50% win rate) with mages like Sherry and Level 4s like Saiai, which is why they are practically on the same line. People below are generally people he'd have an advantage against (60+% win rate), people above are people he'd generally have a disadvantage against (40% win rate or below)

But that's just me, I don't know how others look at it. I've heard about "destructive potential", but Unlucky seems to take durability and other factors into consideration.

Quick rundown would be:

Index is currently in the Aeon of Osiris, as Christianity is still on top. The only thing we've seen that proclaims to come from the Aeon of Horus is Aiwass. Crowley wants to bring about the Aeon of Horus, but it's not really clear what that will entail. Based on Noukan's line about destroying magic, it's possible that all Osiris/Isis based powers will stop working but whether that's the aim or a side effect isn't clear.

Getting into theory here, but it's possible that Esper powers are the Horus version of magic. Since Horus is all about self-realization and willpower, it makes sense that a form of magic based on it would use something akin to Personal Reality rather than Idol Theory, which relies on the worship of something else. Would explain the blood vessel explosions.

I guess I really didnt consider himegami a real gemstone being that her "power" is entirely based on a physical constitution that kills "vampires" and its mentioned that the legend of deep blood has been around for a long time so it seems like more of a genetic thing than an ability of sorts.

There aren't that many espers capable of taking on the military though. Level 5s can (except maybe Misaki), maybe some Level 4s, and then that's about it.
