I really dislike missing parts of the subtitles, and I always let it play through the OP and ED, often without watching. But may not be bad either. I also like to finish an anime by watching multiple epidodes, but may simply be to get over with it or a better experience, not to make it movie like.

Since watching anime, I turn on subtitles for everything now.

I have to be in a certain mood depending on which show I want to watch, and if I want to watch a show but I'm not in the designated mood I will avoid doing so. Also for some reason it always feels better watching anime when it's dark outside.

I have trouble often when it comes to sitting through a whole episode start to finish without pausing to do random shit like post here right now. Not an issue when using a tablet or watching on TV though. Only on my labtop.

If I see a piece of animation I really like, I stop and replay it, usually multiple times. I've taken over an hour to finish a 22 minute ep several times because of this.

Whenever there's any more animation than just the characters standing still mouth-flapping, I often have to rewind a few seconds to watch the animation that played. I'm just not good at reading and watching simultaneously.
I watch the duel audio version if I can, just to experience the dialogue and animation all at once.

I spend more time trying to decide what anime to watch than I do actually watching anime. My net is super fucking slow so I have to torrent anything I want to watch ahead of time. As a result I have around 100 shows downloaded that I haven't watched yet. Quite often I want to watch something but I can't decide/don't feel in the mood for various things so I stare at my folder for hours trying to pick.

How's yours sorted? Presumably if it's colour coded they're all in the same column, in which case I would imagine it's sorted either alphabetically or by year?

Speaking of I just spent like twenty minutes with a spreadsheet trying to figure out whether I watch more newer or older stuff so that probably falls under autistic.
Two thirds are from post 2000, averaging the years gives 2006. Can't help but feel there's a better way of doing things than a bar chart with how many per year or doing an average when I don't really feel an average works here

Never skip the OP or ED in the second to last and very last episodes. Even if they're shit, it will be something to ingrain the show deep into my memory so if I ever try to think of it I'll at least remember the OP/ED.

Always do the second to last because half of the time the last episode doesn't have one or the other.

Even though harem threads are a thing of the past, I continuously maintain several harem templates. I have this 200 image harem template that isn't quite full yet, and each season I will add characters to it if there's any that I like. I have several harems at different levels. If I like a new character more than someone on my 100 level harem I will replace them there, and if I like them more than a character on my 50 level I'll swap them out there. I'm still working on refining my 25 level harem, and of course I have a standard 8 character harem for the ones most important to me. The whole process of adding people takes several steps of winnowing. I've thought about just creating a ranking so that I know who to replace with who, but some characters are just too difficult to compare.

I just always remind and pause and shit a lot, and it's also really, really hard for me to find the motivation to watch anime. It's easier for me to read manga because I can just scroll up and down the page and click next every once in a while instead of having to rewind a certain number of seconds. It's like I've lost the ability to watch videos. There was a time I could watch 10 half hour episodes and feel like I had to hold myself back from watching more, now I struggle to watch 4.
