Japanese is easy as fuck to pronounce. Just watching anime regularly is enough to understand any nuances to how the sounds are produced. It's a marginal advantage for someone with similar sounds in their native language and one that only exists for someone learning with no prior exposure and no immersion.

I used to be part of a fansubbing group in spanish more than 10 years ago. Back then there were only a few groups who had direct jap->sp translator and often the groups would wait for a release in english to then translate into spanish. I have no idea how the scene is right now but all the people I knew who did a good job back then have retired.

I think I get what you mean but the thing is spanish groups tend to favor using neutral spanish which makes it hard to guess by only looking at the final work. I'm not saying that there isn't a country that had the people who contributed/impacted the most but I'd say it would be hard to know.
