Japan wrote Lilo out because they didn't like her, but she shows up in one episode in the last season to explain why she's not around.

It was OK, not as good as the US series. It took them until the third series before they retooled it into any semblance of the US version, with other experiments controlled by Hamsterveil etc. The third season is also where Jessica comes into it, and she's hot.
