That's not even what makes it so good. I mean I can relate as much as the next faggot here, but the overall story is no masterpiece. This show just has a fantastic soundtrack and some really intimate/emotional everyday scenes, does that make sense? And it still manages to be funny sometimes.

I'm not similar to sato but I still enjoyed the story.

Read the manga, there's an actual good reason for it because they left a lot out of the anime that backs up his whole persona.
