She beats poor people and make them go homeless.
Whatever floats your boat, brother.
>not wanting to watch your waifu overpower another girl who dares to inappropriately notice you
>not wanting to be threatened with all kinds of violence and sadism for going astray from her pure love and devotion
>not wanting someone who loves you so much they're willing to kill for you and kill you if they can't have you
It's like you don't want to live
>Watch Bakemono season 1
>Nadeko just seems to be a generic cutesy girl with a big brother complex, and doesn't actually have any internal conflict compared to the other girls
>Basically write her off as generic fapbait Nisio shit out (his works can't all be gold)
>Start Monogatari Season 2
>mfw this was Nisio's plan all along
you are just an inferior version of gif related
Bat is a Brat. She's cute but not very loving.
Sometimes her clothes smell like Kaiki for some reason.
>not very loving
Please pay attention. She's trying not to make things weird, but her actions all scream out how much she loves Araragi. For people like you, there's Owari 3 where she breaks down and acts like a giddy schoolgirl with how openly affectionate she is.
Owari 2 and 3 are dedicated to giving Shinobu both viable and attractive offers to end her relationship with Araragi. She refuses both times because being with Araragi is making her the happiest she has been in 500 years, if not her entire life. She could have ambushed and killed Araragi at any point during Bake onwards if she really wanted to get out of it anyways. The dysfunctional part is how hung up the two of them are on Kizu.
tbf, he doesn't realize the extent of their relationship. He just thinks Kaiki conned her and tricked her into liking him and she immediately stopped caring about Kaiki the moment she found out the truth. Araragi doesn't know that Kaiki is still on her mind even after two years.
Owari 2 is basically "Hey Shinobu, here's this hot, noble, legendary exorcist who would totally be a worthy partner for your legendary vampire self. He loves you and wants to be with you, so you could not be cripplingly lonely and also have your godlike powers. You also have have been nursing a crush on him and regretting how you fucked up his life for the past four centuries, so it sounds like a match made in heaven. Why don't you dump that random teenager?" and then she says no because she likes Araragi more.
isn't with araragi like she should be
All cute girls still look cute with short hair.
Senjou looks like shit with short hair.
Therefore, she is not cute.
>with actual story
Nah, Shinobu has better ones for that. Hachikuji gets ones where the author bothers to emulate the banter too. The lolis and the sisters get the best art too.
>If anyone better comes along, I will leave you.
>Find a flaw.
Sigh... when are you crabfags going to understand Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade is the best girl, period?
Girls fucking each other with strap-ons is the most boring fetish, period. All the girls involved in that one have way better doujins, I dunno why you guys always hype up that one.
The one with younger & older Snail is top tier.
>all the ones with actual story
All of them feature her being massively out-of-character, the doujins where the author tries to work a story into them are the worst. Best ones are the wordplay-heavy ones (like the doujin that goes into the Fire Sisters' name meanings, people still cite that fucking doujin when talking about them in general now even)
>thread suddenly becomes civilized when discussing porn
outshined by the goods he stores at home.
Insipid, vapid, boring, dumb semen demon who apparently is ugly as fuck when transported to three-dimensional reality.
>guy falls for girl
>girl has controlling and lying ex
>girl tries to go back to him
>guy knows nothing about it
where have i seen this before
she is not really that mean, she just isn't your typical doormat
Boring with a forced personality (as in she seems to be trying to act like an archetype rather then being it.). The only trait of her that really seemed honest is her possessiveness. Also, it seemed like Arararagi started dating her more out of some weird feeling of responsibility to respond to her feelings rather then feeling that they actually fit each other.
>Also, it seemed like Arararagi started dating her more out of some weird feeling of responsibility to respond to her feelings rather then feeling that they actually fit each other.
That's what Ougi seems to think as well, take that however you want.
I do think that Gahara, Kanbaru, Hachikuji,
or technically Ougiare probably the best "fits" for shuraragi personality-wise though.
>>not wanting someone who loves you so much they're willing to kill for you and kill you if they can't have you
Obviously she is not black cat. Why do you make threads like these?
I feel that Sodachi's already sorta at that point by Musubi though. Yeah she's alone and still finding her place in the world but she's got money, a good job, an actual sense of control over her life and is on relatively good terms with rrragi by this point. Her, Kanbaru and Karen probably got the happiest "endings" within Off-Season I think.
Drop the ebonics, you degenerate.
And so is math, really. The only one who might be down to his level is Kanbaru. But regardless, the only one who -truly- chose Araragio was bat, so that should be the canon ending couple.
Ougi is clearly Meme's niece though, what are you talking about anon?
>Drop the ebonics, you degenerate.
>And so is math, really.
Not seeing it. She got the short end of the stick of that entire ordeal for sure, doesn't make her better than him though. They're both passive to the extreme and have ridiculous issues of self-worth (though both are getting better at dealing with it by Musubi it seems)
>the only one who -truly- chose
What the hell does it mean to -truly- choose someone? Crab and arguably Snail did the same thing did they not?
Also that's shit reasoning that even Araragi thinks is dumb, he doesn't want to be in a relationship where the two sides can't think of each other as equals.
Did you even watch the series (or read the novels)? Senjougahara claimed she would drop him if she found someone better, basically a 3DPD; her loyalty is circumstantial. Like Hachikuji, they "love" Araragi solely because of some reverse saviour complex.
Bat is the real deal. And math is her "equal" in a grounded level.
How do you figure that Sodachi is too good for Koyomi but Kanbaru isn't?
Also they seem like an ok match to me
>both are selfless to the point of being self-destructive
>both over-think every problem
>both now have a relative understanding of how each other thinks now, for better or worse
Only major difference is that Koyomi had a caring family, whereas Sodachi doesn't. Closest she has is that social worker who looked out for her, and now in a weird roundabout sorta way Koyomi (though reasonably enough she'd never admit that)
Araragi (and I guess Crab too) openly lust over Cat and Araragi lusts over his sisters too, what's you point? If her loyalty was circumstantial she would've ditched the guy ages ago.
>Like Hachikuji, they "love" Araragi solely because of some reverse saviour complex.
That's not why she agrees to sticking around after being brought back from hell.
I would go for a Japanese or Siberian 3D desu. They're basically 2.5D
You can't fuck a 2D. What you gonna do? Print them and wrap around your dick?
And if you get tired you can just break up
God damn it, why did she have to cut her hair? Don't get me wrong, she's still sexy but lost a big part of her appeal.
Monogatari adheres to the "opposites attract" meme, so it wouldn't work. Same reason why Kanbaru wouldn't be a viable option even if she wasn't a lesbian, she and Araragi just get along too well and are too similar to each other.
> She has said to Araragi that she'd trade him away with no remorse if something better comes along.
He asked her about it because he wasn't sure about Shinobu. Did she really choose him? Is it possible? Hitagi said that they both chose him.
>Did she really choose him? Is it possible?
Until something better comes along; >>153955030 is wrong in the interpretation. The text is intended to show how flawed Senjou is... but that doesn't mean she is not a reprobate. On her defence, they are both garbage people.
I can only find mentions of her joining a "humanitarian organization", nothing about refugees or commies, thankfully.
I watched this scene shortly after I had re-watched the sweet scenes between the two at the end of the first season of the anime. Desu, it hurt.
>"She has zero loyalty"
>Hops countries to stay on his dick
Honestly, most people here probably wouldn't mind at all if she went off with some other dude and Araragi got with almost anyone else in the cast. There's nothing indicating that this'll ever happen though. The two are devoted to each other, for better or worse.
>"and in the eyes of Kanbaru"
>even though we know from Hana (which Nisio wrote before this arc) that Araragi was the only one who kept in touch with Kanbaru after graduating
Fucking hell Nisio is it too much to just have one scene with the two of them together just hanging or something? Or even a reference to them hanging out offpage/screen?
>it's another "/a/ virgins thinking sex equals love" episode
>surprise twist: it's a "anon doesn't understand dependency" subplot.
Hmmm.... maybe Dekomori is the best girl.
>sex equals love
Not what I'm talking about at all.
How? Gahara's a rich businesswoman who lives abroad and Araragi's a town cop, and they both make it a point to basically let each other do whatever they want? If anything what you're complaining about is there isn't enough blatant dependancy in the relationship.
> they both make it a point to basically let each other do whatever they want?
Thank you, now that you admitted that, we can you can drop the charade and you can stop claiming Senjou is devoted...
Pick one, or go outside into the real world.
>and you can stop claiming Senjou is devoted
Tell that to Nisio for making her entire characterization being that she could ditch him but willingly chooses not to, not me. I'm all for her fucking off from the story altogether.
This just seems like the same old "Araragi isn't special or destined, but no one is really and it's not how relationships work" type shit that all the arcs in Owari (especially Mayoi Hell) conclude with, how are you guys spinning this shit into a discussion of Gahara being shit or not? You have the entire scene posted there yet you're still selectively looking at one line and disregarding the rest and disregarding what arc that scene is in and why the conversation was happening at all somehow?
> you're still selectively looking at one line and disregarding the rest and disregarding what arc that scene is in and why the conversation was happening at all somehow?
Anon, but isn't tThe thread literally about Senjougahara been a wastoid? (i.e. "Find a Flaw", A: She has lots, proven all over the anime and the novels). And ultimately, both sides of the argument boil down to opinions and interpretations, not arguments based solely on the presented facts.
I think Senjougahara is nothing but loner-bait and agree with the Bat & Math people.
So... is this the recommended anime viewing order?
Bake > Nise > Neko > Kabuki > Otori > Oni > Koi > Hana > Tsuki > Owari > Koyomi > Kizu I, II, III
You don't really need to know the conclusion of Kizu to get into the rest of the anime. I'd say you'd be fine with just Kizu 1 then straight into Bake. Treat Kizu like a prologue you can get back to later on.
Bake opens up with quick flashes of the events that happened in Kizu. Watching Kizu 1 first is good know who the characters are when you start watching Bake. You'll know why Araragi is working for Meme, you'll know why Araragi can be turned into ground meat and shrug it off and you'll know who the blonde loli is
but not why she's so depressed. I recommend Kizu 1 first because you'll have some attachment to the characters that you'll be watching right off the bat
I expressed myself wrong, sorry. What I'm asking is... Is Kizumonogatari supposed to be "told" in the novels after Bakemono and Co.? Or was it a part of Bakemonogatari that was omitted in the beginning when they made the anime?
I was referring to the not watching Kizu first because "Bake is supposed to be mysterious." It works well in a novel because you can take your time to think about the strange events you're reading about which can be titillating but when watching it, you're being told a story at a much faster pace. So instead of feeling mysterious, it just feels random, like a series on non-sequiturs. Having some idea of who the characters are beforehand mitigates that.
Okay so wait, crab was actually fucking around with the creepy guy and played it off like she wasn't when he was introduced to ararararagi? And he still has no idea that she's stuck on him still?
Shit, being a Batfag feels even better.
>the creepy guy
The further you get into Koimonogatari, the less creepy they portray him until you find yourself noticing that he's actually pretty attractive. Fucking Shaft, how do they do it?
I mean isn't that the gist of it? I'm not saying it's necessarily wrong to be stuck on an ex, but lying about it to a current partner is pretty bad practice if you're actually trying to get something in the long run.
I don't even dislike crab, i just don't think she's the best girl by a long shot. This sort of thing might lower my opinion of her though.
Welp, guess I'll have to start up the series again.
What's with the increase in redditgaharafags and where'd the snakefags go? There used to be a handful of snakefags in every thread, but now I only see 1(one).
I need all of you shitgaharafags to fuck off with your shit taste.
>is hostile towards everyone except her father and Araragi
>is still severe towards Araragi, and only loves him on the conditions that he always stays by her side and serves her totally
>treats her best friend who loved her for years like shit bc she can't be arsed to deal with her feelings
>forced a mentally ill person into homelessness over petty jealousy
>>>>"not really that mean"
You have to be underage or underdeveloped to like snake.
I am a snakefag, I used to post tons before and declaring my undying love of Nadeko.
But alas, work comes before shitposting so I have little time to tell everyone how their waifus suck compared to mine.
Bat is really good, even without the connection she can pretty much tell whatever is on Araragi's mind, she doesn't need the bond for that. I liked how Kabuki displayed how good they fit each other, their banter thoughout the whole timetravel adventure, how it showed the current state of their relationship. Shinobu Mail displayed the development Shinobu went through after Kizu and how Owari just reconfirmed that she is indeed happy being with Araragi, happy enough to trow her pride as a vampire aside and just be bounded to Araragi's shadow. It was clearly different then what happned in Kizu.
I don't think crab would mind if I had another girl
