I stopped reading the manga around the part where this movie starts. I heard the ending is shit and id rather not drag myself through a fuckfest of vampires demons and other bullshit to understand this movie. At the same time the movie looks pretty dope. Should i read the rest of the manga?

Ending is good, just not as good as many expected.
Would rather claim, that the lowest point of the series was when Kei used his points to get released from Gantz losing his memories and after - getting resurrected again.

The thing that pissed of for some reason - both guys with telekinesis had their health degrading gradually, even though each time they are beamed by Gantz, their body's supposed to get repaired.
