Speaking of which, one thing I love about this show is that it pays so much attention to detail, so much that it's hard to find the kind of plotholes that you'd usually let pass because "it's just anime".

I think Bag was underground and got blown out by the volcano so my guess is that humans have taken refuge underground for some reason. This also makes the statement the voice speaking through Boss in ep 2 make more sense. The voice said "Testing, this is the savanna area" before cutting out; it was a human making contact from the underground bunker in the savanna area.

Noticing that there was a water fountain for Kaban to get water to boil this episode, I pondered if she's taken anything like a shower or bath in the few days she's been traveling towards the library. While she dipped into hippo's pond and the jungle river, I don't think she's been bothering to wash herself.

She's hiked through the Savannah, helped build a bridge in the jungle, weeded grass in the mountains(this is fucking strenuous considering the higher altitude), rode through a hot metal bus in the desert, traveled through an underground maze, participated in a play war, traveled through a quiz maze, and finally started a fire to cook some curry.

Has Kaban even pooped or peed during this trip?

I wonder if friends sweat or poop in general.
