Magical Cylinder and Mirror Force got buffed in the cardgame. In the original series, Cylinder only works with a Magician card (so like Magical Box), and Mirror Force reflect the attack onto the enemy's monsters (so if a 2.5k monster attack and they still have a 3k beater waiting, you take 500 damage). rather than nuke the field.

The thread is basically wrong; Sense isn't powerlevels because it's not quantifiable at all and is never measured numerically throughout the entirety of the manga. It's more so equivocal to a standard shonen serial's "ki/aura/whatever" and even that's something of a stretch.

The telekinetic force is amplified when your speed increases. That's why Sense is only really ever relevant in Turbo Duels.

It's not the same you're right, but it's not completely vapid. There's still some nuance here, even if its different. Jack expresses a sort of lust for battle and an enjoyment of breaking down and subjugating other duelists in the manga and that's vital to the story.

He is an asshole, and it's not like the narrative glosses that over. It's precisely because he's such an asshole that so many people want to beat him and come together at the D1 Grand Prix for the opportunity to do so.
