I recently finished this series, just the BD anime, and while the characters are enjoyable, I have to ask, was this series made specifically for 4Chan users?
Every female has no pants, most of the girls are under 18, the heavy /k/-ness, etc. All the things that made it stand out. It seems too peculiar a combination. Not really complaining, just curious. What did bother me, of all things, is how they are flying around with no goggles on.
Also Francesca Lucchini is an adorable precocious little scamp. Shirley and her were a nice pairing.

It really seemed like that.
It would have been interesting to see what the series would have been like if paid a little more attention to reality. Magic and aliens(?) is fine, but being accurate while flying at speed, regular ww2 machine guns being effective at all against space ships(?), the goggles, things like that.
Still it was a nice watch.
