after the big reveal about the true nature of anthrax it becomes a complete clusterfuck that takes itself too seriously for its own good

I don't think Bastard ever took itself too seriously, if anything, the fights become more and more retarded, especially the power levels.

The big issue right now is the 8 year long hiatus.
Originally, the excuse was that the author was redrawing all the previous volumes, but at this point I think anyone can already guess the author has likely ran out of ideas and/or has lost interest.

The funniest thing is that those redrawn volumes are overpriced as fuck.

So, it's not worth it?
