Kuroda's last gundam was Try and the Try Island Wars OVA. That OVA was one of the worst animated things to ever come out of the franchise and has all of Kuroda's bad writing habits in it. The ibo kits actually are of slightly higher quality than what g-reco got. Most have near full inner frames, better articulation, and higher surface detail. Bandai is also supporting them with dedicated option packs and a 1/100 line. Not sure what your beef with the guns are, they're pretty standard construction for hg weapons.

And no, the thunderbolt hg are not as good as you think. They are actually from a few years before the ova and have been repackaged with slightly altered colors. They have enormous and visibly obvious seam lines layered into the joints that are a massive pain the close and in terms of engineering were pretty standard for their time and nothing standout other than the huge runner of thrusters. We'll have to see how these actual new ones in the spring are too as they aren't released yet.

Origin kits are fantastic though, I'll give you that.

Yeah this was the coming-of-age episode for Orga, the illusion/delusions of grandeur seem to have finally broken. We saw some cracks of it after the JPT Trust battle when he says he doesn't care about the King of Mars crap.

I like that Eugene and Zack are questioning whether this is a good idea or not, it just goes to show how easy it is to manipulate kids (almost like Ali from 00). Seems like Tekkadan is not fully committed, according to the next episode synopsis.
