Second, yeah imas does things a little differently. They try to get their audience emotionally attached rather than a quick fap then on to the next show. That's why they've been around for more than 10 years and will be around for probably another 10 at least. Touhou will outlast Kancolle the same way imas will outlast LL. These are rather unique franchises and conventional rules don't apply to them.

LL is a multimedia project spanning music releases, a mobile game, and an anime, and a huge part of the fanbase is going to live shows put on by the VAs, which started not even a month after the anime started airing.

Also imas is still going and LL is shinderu.
